I come to the same conclusion from a different direction: people who don't contribute to a society will naturally vote for those who will enable them to continue to be useless.

Insanity can't be reasoned with. Insane people, by definition, think they're sane and everyone else isn't.

Thesis: They cannot, at least the majority of them. There is no appeal to reason that can be made to the modern equivalent of the Maoist Red Guards. If there are leftists that reject the insanity of CRT and Woke Orthodoxy, they represent such a small minority within the left that any interaction with them would be less than pointless. And therein lies the problem. The left, as it is constituted today, have established a new religion. They have orthodox beliefs, inquisitions to purge the impure, a priesthood, and even scripture of a sort. Have a look at what happened at Munster when the Anabaptists took control of that city. It would be easily identified with Portland, Minneapolis or Kenosha. If there IS some way to converse with the left, to reason with them, I'd be open to hearing your ideas. Because this madness as it exists today has an outcome that involves the shedding of blood.

I'd say you've got a much better chance of surviving a police encounter by cooperating than not. Especially when guns are already drawn on you, you've been tazed, etc.

If that's ACTUALLY the thinking, then no one should be protesting police shootings. As I said upthread...there are bad police shootings. This wasn't one.
