Part of the reason I was shocked Rex wasn't let go. The Jets have to essentially re-build this off-season because Rex came in and started signing every free agent under the sun and now theyre stuck. They should have fired Rex now and let the new coach re-build under his vision.

Are you thinking of Pace or Scott? I know Pace has been underwhelming but I've always thought Scott could play.

Im not sure. If its true, it goes to show how screwed up Rex is. Calling out your DC who has your Defense #8 in the NFL and #1 in your division? Seems odd.

Jets had the 8th ranked defense last year. And one of the worst offenses. If Rex thinks defense is the problem, no wonder the Jets have been stinking. I had the same thought. However, this might Rex's last year as a Head Coach, so he may see this as a longer opportunity in Buffalo.

I really like this move. Marrone would get a working view of the Jets operation and a quality DC who has learned from one of the best defensive minds in the league.

I haven't seen his other ones yet, so i'm not sure. But it sounds like it. He was throwing passes right into DBs hands and chest. Just plain awful. You blitz the guy and he goes into panic mode.

Just gone done watching Tyler Bray vs Florida. Wow did he play awful. I think he had as many passes to CB's and LB's as he did to his receivers.

I dont understand the Tyler Wilson love. I watched him. I was so underwhelmed it made me a bit sad. Mostly because I wanted to see something great and it just didn't happen. He under threw a long ball so bad that the defender stopped in his tracks, turned around, and caught it for the interception. He hops too much and he looks like he is putting his entire body into a throw just to get it to the sideline. I dont want him.

Last season would have been the time to do that.

Wade Phillips refused an owners order, resigned, and then was a head coach again a few years later. It doesn't matter how bad you "diss" a team. If you're a hot name, you get called.
