If there is a high value wideout available, one much more highly rated than a corner or d tackle, I would take him too.
But to say that wideout is the 'biggest need by 40 miles' does not make sense, with the highest scoring offense in the entire league last year, best in Bills history, I believe, where all key players are returning, and where it seems they have also upgraded at wideout already.
The defense, on the other hand, was one of the worst in the NFL last year on 3rd down efficiency, quarterback completion percentage. So those areas are clearly more vital to fix by any objective standard.
Also offense was bottom list last year on 3rd downs, and that's in part because they lack a deep receiver or someone that can stretch the field consistently. And is more concerning because defense has been regular-bad usually and offense has been top 5 in previous years on 3rd downs

I don't see Nolen as a possibility if the attitude issues reported in February are at some level true. He look great at times and certainly in the pre draft process also, but once preseason and training camp arrives . . . i don't know

My spicy take is that your take ain’t that spicy.
Jim Kelly was a HoF choker. Its like Troy Aikman stole his ability come postseason a la Space Jam.
Also Eli Manning

An even front is 4 down lineman . That usually means there is a 1 T and a 3T. The Bills play an even front. Robinson at 288 pounds isn’t playing the 1T in either an even or an odd front which is 3 down lineman. That’s what he played at Nebraska and he was a 5 Tech there mostly while Hutchmaker his teammate was the interior player. Hes either suited to play 3T in an even front or a 5T in an odd front.
Thats why learning the basics of football is important, thanks for allowing me to not take any of your future posts seriously
Well then: . . . in an even front like the Bills plays ...
It's playing Rousseau or Hoetch or Lorenzo Alexander in DT on pass situations.
Just because you see a player in one determinate roll didn't mean others don't want to try him on others

That's why you must go to school,

He stated he should be on the field for all 3 downs
This is incorrect, he isn't so polished as pass blocker, therefore the team has to get it out on most 3rd downs, as the final series of AFCCG demonstrated

would be interesting to see a list that excludes "non-QB" pay. To spend this much without a #1 WR is weird.
No if you expend on Offensive linemen, including backups.
Bengals are expending on three players 120mdd and the rest of their offense 37mdd. That's dumb
-
Is funnier if you have money to spend

There's a sense of urgency to solve the defense, and that's where the team should focus. Someone like Metcalf should be second to any defensive player (assuming Metcalf is top on most fan's wishes) so Garrett is the one priority and then some other DL via trade, in free agency i don't see any player who can change the team's defense.

Is it asking too much for both C.Ward and DJ Reed + adding an elite player to the DL
probably....but WE ARE ASKING
let Hamlin and Douglas walk. Move Benford to safety (in the wild event we add 2 quality corners)Why move your best cover corner to safety. Clearly you need better safety play, but not sacrificing CBs

I believe the fragment is in the missing rings about the Bills

I am younger than you but your comment is not only not helpful but shows a complete ignorance of the history of football. If someone blames the officials for every loss your comment is valid, but when officials multiple times get the calls wrong and they all go one way then the criticism is valid and that is the point of the thread. The Cotton Bowl I am referring to is famous for its blatant one sided officiating but despite that Syracuse still won.
So must to watch the "you can't beat KC an the referees all the time" thread
You must also understand that the football environment in México is totally different to USA, actually you can watch almost everything you want, but back In the 90s (when i started to like football) was totally different and didn't know about what take as historical reference

The one that bugged me was the PIT-ARI SB where the officials were overturned multiple times on review and then did not review the final minutes fumble(I think fumble). The officials that day did a poor job and then did not slow down to check a game deciding call.
You probably believe the 1960 Cotton Bowl was called fairly then?
I'm only 50 and from México , so hardly know about the game you're referring to.

Knowing what we know now about Belichick with Spygate and all, I am sure while he was DC of the Giants he illegally taped the Bills practices for Super Bowl 25......no way he could slow down that powerful Offense without a little help.
It is easier to blame or place the blame on someone else than accept your own mistakes. Kelly was calling plays in that SB and was forgetting the run game although NY played most of the game with only two DL.
We need to face games avoiding depending on things we cannot control, referees are one of those things, and try to plan and play better than we have on the past

What do you think burrow would've done to this defense if they got in?
Maybe then McDermott truthers could see the light
McDermott detractors must understand that a change is simply a change. i'm open to a change but also understand that whoever comes don't will be necessary better, like more Madden-thinkers believe

How is me saying lets try someone else crazier than.....lets keep the guy who continues to fail when it matters the most?
What im saying isnt crazy and just because I dont have the answer doesnt mean its not a viable thing to do.
Not having an answer is crazier than pointing out the problem that you ask to solve. It's like said: look, the child has a nosebleed and wait for someone to come and solve it.
Most people want a change believing it is for the better, but most of the time it is for the worse.

People always simplified the outcome of big games to:
Lose, blame on the coaches
Win , All the credit goes to the players

I feel exactly like last week, calm and confident of the outcome of the game.
* Last week i felt at some degree sure about a win

3 of 4 weekend's games were decided in that way, the other was the KC's.

What a smug comment. Of course I watched the game but didn’t realize he was hurt but just that Spector was getting burned and out of place it seemed on some of Detrot drives. Don’t be an AH. Go Bills.
I didn't want to sound smug, but people just come here uninformed to criticize just trolling

Just now, Virgil said:
He was hurt
It's a waste of time try to explain to some people that doesn't watch/listen the game

I've been a Bills fan for well over 40 years and I love Josh Allen but look he's not punching Josh Allen, he's trying to punch at the ball to get a fumble because every defensive player is well aware of Josh's propensity to fumble.
He is trying to hit the ball but he doesn't, ultimately hits Allen's head and must deserve a punishment, if not during the game the league can apply it during the week (as the Rapp hit that was flagged in game but the Miami player was fined by the league)

RB in #173 i guess
Because some years ago Buffalo make it work with a speedster WR UFA, maybe they'll try again that way
