That’s what I’m not getting about the complaining. They literally drafted a an OG that looks the part. The free agent LG they signed looks the part. Their LT and center are respected around the league.

I mean our only legitimate concern is RT, and he’s been our RT for 2 seasons and is a young athletic freak we’re developing. He’s very raw coming out of the draft.

I get the complaints because the draft picks haven’t been plentiful early but people act like it’s the worst OL ever assembled and we’re in trouble. This is probably the best OL they’ve had during this run.

When that raw right tackle gets blown up it forces Josh out rolling against his body immediately. It happens A LOT. You can’t run an offense with that as a possibility every fifth play.

Well...Davis looks good. But to be a broken record,  Brown cannot PP, he is HUGE weakness, he is goingto get Josh hurt and cost us games.  Beane needs to admit his mistake, be aggressive and trade Boogie or Espenesa for a mid level RT.

Who is trading a mid level RT for an DL? It’s not exactly like teams have an embarrassment of riches at OL. Everyone needs linemen badly. They’re not trading them away for some edge rusher.

Hard evidence would convince me. Do you have any of that? The NFL is an enormous operation. If anyone (refs, league officials, the Rog himself) were on the take there would be word of it by now.

Until then I chalk it up to plain old incompetence.

You should watch Tim Donaghy on Netflix bc a small group of people affected the outcome of a ton of games. It only got out after years. For one crew or even one ref to make a critical holding call in a Super Bowl is extremely easy.

I never understood this point of view.  It sounds great and all on an online message board, I guess...but...

I hope he misses our game and it allows us to beat them handily, and we turn a LOSS into a WIN.

I approach it from the military perspective.  I'm not looking for fair fights here, just victory, as easily as possible.

Trust me, the pats didn’t care that we marched out a dog’s dinner of qbs year after year on their way to super bowls. We shouldn’t either. Do you think they ever thought, man I wish Kolb didn’t slip on that mat. I want to get to the sb the right way.

  5. Our offensive power is relying on Diggs and…Dawson Knox. Those are the 1 and 2. Kincaid is a rookie. Davis is a #3. And everyone else is a big old question mark.

Our biggest rivals are surrounding their QBs with weapons and we’re retreading and wishing on a star that we have the next Kelce.

We’re becoming phillip rivers and the San diego Chargers.

He had a few drops. Every receiver does. I think we need to remember that a fair number of his 'drops" were sideline routes in which he had no room to maneuver, and a few of those were passes that Josh threw just short enough that they unnecessarily became contested.

I'm not concerned about Gabe's performance. I think he'll be fine.

33rd in receiving yards on supposedly the most explosive (top 3) offenses in the league doesn’t work. Those aren’t wr #2 stats. Those are wr2 stats for the browns. Whose wr2 is coincidentally 32nd!

  6. He still admitted to having sex with an underage girl. And he alibi for not being part of the ***** was:

“Gilleon told CBS8 in San Diego that the witness on whom prosecutors based their opinion that Araiza was not present during the alleged gang rape was a “buddy.””

    Got it. Case closed.

I thought I would turn on the strange new pro bowl to see what it was like, if worth watching.

But then...I heard his voice, and very soon knew it had to be him...

Speaking of Huntley, he said he had the ability to "spin it" and  soon after that,  referred to the "big fullback".

These were in his very first sentences, these cliches and clutter, the inane, useless drivel that caused me to turn down the sound when he spoke on Thursday Night Football this year and to not watch some games.

And, if he holds to form, and he always does, not enabling the dramatically better Al Michaels to get a word in edgewise all year, he will feel the need to FILL almost every second of the broadcast tonight with similar inane, useless jargon, all in his monotone, humorless voice.

Worst color commentator I have ever heard in my life; cannot believe this guy gets away with this crap.  Writer David Halberstram rightfully calls Herbstreit "the village idiot"

A deal breaker for me tonight! I turned it off.

Honestly I had the same opinion about him until I listened to his interview on pardon my take. He won me over. Give it a listen.

Dont want to get a ban for comparing our team to the teams playing in the GDT so I am putting it here.  Im totally convinced its coaching.  KC its killing that Oline.  Their players arent better than ours.  Jones is a beast but really nobodies outside of that.  The difference is how they actually play the receivers tight and not 10 yards off and back up at the snap.  Burrow cant throw quick because it aint there for free.

Same story on offense. Allen may not be Mahomes but he is elite.  Their offensive design and coaching is second to none.  I feel like Dorsey is just backyard football.  A lot of people say "Josh wont take the underneath stuff."  I believe he would if he was coached to and the plays were designed to.

That was pretty apparent when mahomes got hurt last week and his backup drove 98 yards for a TD

One of the most traumatizing losses for me when I was younger was the JAX loss vs bills...96 playoffs

...and the low scoring loss  few years back as well.

    Hate that team.

It wasn’t even on tv in 96. Did you go?

    Series tied 9-9-0

96 vs Jags was Jim Kelly’s last game.
