  1. If only we weren't doomed to stay. I can't bring anything up now, I think it may have been some insider info. Some of the usual suspects posted that the Pegulas really liked McD and Monos did as well and worked to convince Whaley, IIRC. I can try to bring it up.
  2. There were a couple reports out there that Whaley had less to do with it than you're implying.
  3. I hear ya. Appreciate the info as always.
  4. I didn't mean to insinuate that. I only meant to ask if that was something that was in the works, or was more of a "someone's gotta go" situation.
  5. Was Scott on his way out before or after that disaster of a presser?
  6. But those situations are different. Wawrow reports facts that he personally vets. The things that he does not report are not vetted. LaCanfora reports things that may not have any validity. In this thread, LaCanfora is being challenged for being a crappy reporter. On Twitter, you're attacking Wawrow for making a comment that he is not reporting as any kind of fact. Not to mention attacking a reporter who stakes his name and reputation while posting on TBD is just kind of a dick move. He's not an anonymous poster.
  7. I don't dislike you, I don't know you. I just disagree with your takes all the time. You are confrontational on purpose. You know Wawrow has his reputation as a reporter on the line and you constantly go out of your way to be confrontation for unknown reasons. Harry Kozlowski‏ @PromoTheRobot @john_wawrow Why not just say "Whaley's getting fired?" I know you know the reason he didn't say that. So what was the point of this tweet other than to be antagonistic to the reporter with the most journalistic integrity that covers the Bills? Honestly.
  8. Get him John! That's all you do on Twitter. You attack him constantly. Then you posted his responses to only show half of the story. A new low.
  9. Monos was spearheading the McD hiring IIRC.
  10. I think he's donezo. It's not like he picked McD. It was the Pegula's show again.
  11. It's the same take no responsibility excuse making. Yep. Hiring a new Comm director to direct the PR of firing the GM makes too much sense.
  12. How long til "Doug Whaley was never given a chance to succeed" posts start popping up? EJ saga 2.0.
  13. Goodbye Doug! EJ needs investors at Popeyes!
  14. Wow. That's surprising. I didn't think any of this bad blood predated the El Pegual era.
  15. I assume this is related to the freeze-out of certain local reporters?
  16. Care to elaborate? I always appreciate your insight, regardless of our vast differences of opinion.
  17. Frowned upon, I believe. You'll get a shot to participate. MAINSTREAM MEDIA REGION #2) B-Man vs. #15) Dorkington Topic: Social Media is more relevant than the mainstream media.
  18. I have never heard that before.
  19. You could make that argument for every report ever. Talk about a fallacy.
  20. Not here. We got the "there's no way this is true, LaCanfora is a hack!" treatment, per usual. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/190530-cbs-rex-could-be-fired-tt-benched-monday-with-loss/ Enjoy the "no way Rex gets fired before the end of the season" freezing takes!
  21. Yes, closer to "very little." Rex called TO's. But the bulk of the offensive responsibility was on Roman and Lynn. And while it's easy to make the lazy "inexperienced" remark about Lynn, his performance as OC helped him get a HC position. Rex hiring Roman doesn't mean he "coached" TT. Rex Ryan's defenses have always been risky, attacking defenses designed to either get a sack/TO or give up a play. If you want to argue that his defensive personality seeped into the O, I'd like to know why you think so. It's not like Roman's system was way different before he came to Buffalo. He was always running a complex run heavy offense that controlled the clock and barely passed. He ran the exact same offense in San Fran. There was virtually no difference with Rex Ryan or Jim Harbaugh.
  22. Rex coaching for his job and TT playing for his job both look credible to me.
  23. Rodrigo struggles to make any kind of salient point.
  24. Well seeing as that report was thoroughly disregarded on this board, I don't believe you.
