  1. Any ticket you buy at the boss hog bowl is going to be outrageous. The tailgating is dismal compared to Buffalo. The fans here are fair weather and of the beautiful people group. When you go to cowboy stadium you are not going to feel the football atmoshpere that you would at a real stadium. This is a fashion show and about being seen at the game. Never the less the last time the Bills played here, Bleedsoe vs Carter, score 11-9. There were more Bills fans than cowboys so maybe they can show the texans how real football fans play the game.

  2. Hey Rook, I meant "Vanilla" in terms of Offense. Boring, or just plain-jane would also be synonyms.

#34 who are you? I can't believe I'm even responding to such negative crap. What makes you think you would even recognize genius in the first place? I think Chan is doing a great job with what he has in front of him. It's not like he's the president and has every thing he could ask for and then screw it all up. Ralph is the limiter here. Like Ralph has said, just enjoy what you have or you will have nothing. So its either vanilla ice cream or an empty bowl.

  3. Asomugha and Revis on the same team? Jets are interested in making this happen. We're not beating the Jets if they sign this guy. It's not even right. With that pass rush and that CB tandem? We'll be starting the season 0-4 (2 losses to Jets and Pats)

    :wallbash:

Just like Miami Heat was unbeatable with the greatest players ever on their team. Its chemistry not superstars that win champioships.

  4. Did not see any other thread on this, but has anyone else rec'd a season ticket holder cup? Just got them in the mail...this year's giveaway. Thought it was going to be another Tim Horton's mug. It is a hard plastic with a screw on lid and hard plastic straw. Looks good for by the pool. Has the charging buff logo with "Season Ticket Holder" under it. Nothing elaborate, but not bad for a freebee.

Yes what a joke that plastic cup is. Remember when we would get bobble heads? Are you kidding me. I pay a lot of money for season tickets and I guess they added 4.94 on to my ticket prices to pay for that cup.

  5. Its very difficult to move unless you want to go to the visitors side. They will tell nothing is available anywhere. You have to go through section by section with them on the phone, or you get, sorry the stadium is full. I was lucky enough to keep pushing, and got to 134 row 10. Thats pretty darn good for the conversation starting out that there was no place to move to.

  6. And a part of me wants to keep drafting players for the front-seven until we get it right. The Bills should be nicknamed "the team that made Willie Parker famous". They haven't been able to stop the run or rush the passer reliably for YEARS.

    Having said that....

    1) I'm not a fan of Newton. I don't like the offense he played in at Auburn. Gabbert bothers me in somewhat of the same way, plus he's a Junior. But if the CBA and/or salary cap isn't changed to lower the rookie salaries, a QB (or a OT) might be one of the few offensive positions worth investing in at #3. See #2.

    2) Von Miller might be a stretch since it isn't often you see a LB go that high. His size (weight-wise) is worrysome to me. It's a true need though.

    3) If I were the Bills I'd start making googly-eyes at CB Patrick Peterson if he's there at #3 (maybe WR A.J. Green too) and try to find a trade-down partner that wants one. Heck, maybe Peterson is the pick; McKelvin is inconsistent, McGee looks old and broken-down at this point, and Florence is a UFA.

    Babble off.

I like Gabbert. Hes the only QB that looked good in the Senior bowl. Im pretty sure Ralph is going to go after this kid. The fans have benn crying for a QB and thats what he said he was going to get.Have if you can trade down and get him then that would be awesome.

  7. Aikman has long been rumored to be gay.

Joe Buck definetely looks a little light in the loafers.

I understand Aikman is going thru a divorce

and that his marriage was really always just to "keep up appearances".

Who knows? Just rumors, but It would not surprise anyone.

I think Buck would be the chick in the relationship.

Aikman has been popped more than once for soliciting in the gay neighborhoods of Dallas.

  8. Sorry... just because I want to hear it sung in the fashion in which I grew up with and one that our military subscribes to does not make me a guy that never screws up. And yes, I would like to see the "performance" part whittled down to where it shows some respect. Just my opinion... but you are awfully judgemental yourself.

My favorite part of that song, which it is my all time favorite, is the ending land of the free and home of the brave. That is the only part of the song that really means anything. She did a great job. If you want to complain about something complain about most of the millionaires on the sideline acting like they could give a dam. That was way more disrespectful than that girl missing a few words.

  9. Great read. Its obvious they put an emphasis on intelligence, something I'm not so certain the Bills do with McKelvins score on the wonderlic being equivalent to illiterate and McGahee and Spiller not being able to learn the plays - not to mention Lynch and Maybin, who cant even contribute on special teams.

And this was my favorite part:

This season’s group — part of the league’s top-ranked rushing defense (62.8 yards per game allowed) and the league’s leading sack defense (48) — might provide the clearest example of the Steelers’ method for building a seamless unit.

#1 ranked rush D and the top pass rusing D to boot. Something tells me its not all about DBs.

Well gee whiz what happened to the monster defense when the steelers played the Bills? As a matter of fact I believe the steelers barely squeaked out that 3 point win against the lowly Bills. Monster defense my foot, how about favorably calls by the referees.

  10. You misunderstood. Each payment is 16% of the whole. They don't charge interest.

    PTR

Ha ha! I'm not shocked that a whiner like you expects others to buy tickets so you can sit on your fat arse and watch games for free at home.

    PTR

Firstly my arse isnt fat. Secondly I've had season tickets since 92. Who would want to sit at home watching a game when they can be in the game?

  11. I think he makes valid points. Andre johnson got fined 25k for throwing three haymakers while harrison got fined 25k for what last year (or even earlier this year) would have been a legal hit. The nfl is very hypocritical and kudos to ward for saying such.

I think the Johnson thing is out of contexet. He didnt throw any haymakers anywhere. He looked like he was dusting the link off the dudes shirt. Im sure if he was throwing real punches the fine wouldve been worse.
