This is awesome...an "Exile On Main Street" outtake, the Stones new single... it is easy to forget how great this band once was...
Wow.. That is pretty f*ing good. Thanks, B.

The Residents
I never thought I'd actually get the chance to see them live. They have always been this avant garde legend. It could be totally bizarre and way over my head but I want to see them first hand. Anyone ever see them before?

The middle east is a great place to see a show. I saw Clutch there a few years ago, good times.

Whaley first worked for the Steelers while Gailey was still there.
"A: During the season, mostly I'm the advance scout for the coaches, so during the week I'll break down the film of the opponent "
Great point. They probably had a lot of contact.

Interesting. Bringing in a thirtysomething to work with Nix helps curb the "Sunshine Boys" jokes. Thumbs up for the WPIAL link, as well: http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburgh...s/s_479973.html
And one more very important (to me) note: longtime Pittsburgh PP-G Steelers guy Ed Bouchette has good things to say about him. Bouchette's been covering that team since the Steel Curtain days. Man knows his stuff.
I wonder if this is another referral from Cowher..

I could be a punt catcher. I don't know how many others might get the same thing, my club seats contract is up for renewal this year. I'm guessing that's part of the reason I got it.
I re-uped my club seats last year and I got the same letter today.

Ah yes, Walt Corey's "read and react" schemes from back in the day. Hmm...
Well, if Walt doesn't want the job, I'll take it.
Need an assistant?

Police searched her car and found a bag of "leafy greens" on the driver's side floor board, which later tested positive for marijuana, according to the report obtained by the the Palm Beach Post. They then searched the trunk and found 200.5 grams of pot distributed in baggies. That's about half a pound.

Not bad.
I love that movie.

Riddle me this, Batman: why would either Schefter or Mortensen CARE whether or not Cowher ultimately takes the job in Buffalo (or anywhere else)?
"Let me explain to you how this works: you see, the corporations finance Team America Schefter, and then Team AmericaSchefter goes out... and the corporations sit there in their... in their corporation buildings, and... and, and see, they're all corporation-y... and they make money."

Thanks for the post, Rock. I'm glad BR made it home safe.

Exactly, if he can talk 70000+ people into buying tickets to go watch some of the worst product money can buy week in and week out, selling a single coach on this team should be a breeze.

Ref should have put ten more seconds on the clock after Edwards td...

Wild animals as pets is just dumb. They're animals. And they are wild. They are unpredictable.

Polian still has ties to UB..so, I wouldn't be surprised to see NR as a late round(4-7) pick of the Colts.

What was it? My DVR didn't pick it up for some reason.

or keep his hands out of them

It ironically was going according to plan for TD as one of his primary goals seemed to be not putting an HC he hired in a position to run him out of town like Cowher did and he seemed to motivated as much by making sure he hired an HC he could beat if it came to that (GW)...
I agree with the majority of everything you've posted in this thread...but, I have always felt this was a BS claim against Donahoe. We all know Ralph would never pay for a big-name coach...so, how is TD's hiring of a non-big-name proof of his fear of being Cowher'ed?
Rolling Stones...worlds greatest rock n' roll band...
