Oh, great. I just bought my 25-year old son a #88 jersey for Christmas, and now you tell me.
And to think that I saw #88 score a touchdown in 2 of our last three games. Does scoring touchdowns and becoming a fan favorite mean anything in the NFL, or do the hordes of experts, such as yourselves, now pooh-pooh such things?

Not wanting to be a killjoy, but I hope this idea never materializes. Let's wear the blue buffalo on our helmets, hats, and sweatshirts -- with a big red slash, no less. But a real brown buffalo should be in Montana or Wyoming, snorting and pawing the ground and thundering across the plains.
We have the best mascot in all of sports . Let's not fence him in.

At its heart, football is about blocking and tackling. Lee Smith's blocking ability makes it less likely that his teammates will be tackled. Why is this concept so difficult for many of our esteemed cohort to grasp?

This goes way beyond competence. These guys are stars. And all with level heads on their shoulders.

Ironically, for me it was confirmed by one of his his 'worst' moments -- when he tried a lateral to Knox in the playoff game. That's when I knew how desperate our young QB was to lead and to succeed.

There have been games, many games, when I thought Milano played the best game on our defense. If he were benched, it would be difficult for him to make me think that again.
