  1. The guy was awfully silent last week after a win. This week, he can't contain his glee over a loss.

Hey Sullivan -  :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: - in the butt with a 2x4.

I agree. There's a guy I work with who acts like he's down about the Bills losing, but underneath it all he can't conceal his glee. Sullivan reminds me of the same. I don't think their Mommies gave them enough attention; and/or the love of his life dumped him for a jock. He's an extremely odd duck, and what is worse is that his columns are consistently tedious. Rarely do I read his bile anymore.

  2. Pruce is a total stud and exactly what this OL needs to turn the corner. His play at the University of (Fill in the blank) was completely overlooked by many people, but just remember back in (Fill in the year) when I posted that Pruce could be THE most dominant (Fill in your dream) on a team if he was given a chance.

I've watched him play three years at (Fill in the blank) and in one game against (Fill in the blank) he played his ass off against (Fill in the blank) and everyone knows he's probably the most dominant defensive end since (Fill in the blank).

I can't believe we waited this long to sign him.

WE SHOULD PLAY HIM NOW!!! WHAT DO WE HAVE TO LOSE?? We suck...we're 0-4...and if we put him on the line, and then get Losman back there with a broken leg, HOW COULD THINGS BE WORSE???

(Man, I swear, sometimes this board is like an old Mad Libs book.) <_<

    What a post!...legendary!

That being said, I actually met David Pruce once after a road race (Subaru 4-mile Chase) on Elmwood Ave. (He was definitely not a runner; he was at the time my friend's daughter's boyfriend. Speaking of legendary--you should see my friend's daughter, but I digress...)

I spoke with him for quite awhile. He was polite, friendly, smart, humble....and HUUUUUUUGGGGE. I wish him the very best.

  3. I like Earnhardt, but I'm glad he got fined.

The absolute beauty of all this is that there are 3 stations in America--CBS, NBC, and ABC--where you can't show, well... where you can't show porn during the Saturday morning kiddy hour. But Dale Jr. says sh*t on broadcast T.V. and the soap opera peddlers get righteous.

Yeah, America, feel righteous for awhile.... until you walk over to YOUR T.V. and turn on the real sh*t. You are the one who is paying for all those other channels that, believe me, your kids are watching.

But you're really a "good person," I am sure; it's the guy next door who is the real downfall of this country, right?

  4. Just curious.

This team does not have the structural defects that it had last year, when it had a coach (Gilbride) who simply could not commit to a running game, and a head coach who didn't know how to call a game.  Quite the contrary, they have a good game philosophy, good coaches, and players with a lot of potential.  Sure Bledsoe and the offense could play better.  Give it some time.  They will start to click.

Ask yourself this, what if the offense does get quite a bit better?  What if the line starts to gel, and the running game gets going?  What if the line starts to protect better, and Bledsoe starts to hit his targets more consistently?  Would this not be a scary team?

All you nay sayers are a bunch of whiny crybabies.  So what if, in the worst case scenario, our team goes down the tubes this season?  Are you going to bail out like a rat, or go down with them like a man?

    Just curious.

Tolstoy, you are my idea of what being a Bills fan is all about! Well said; well done.

  5. Given the NFL average amount of time before being engulfed by the opposition, Bledsoe would be an above average NFL QB. Watching other games, the QB's consistently get more time to decide what to do than Bledsoe gets.

I'm for him. I think he's smart, has a good arm, and he puts a classy, marketable (ticket-selling) face on the Buffalo Bills--which will keep the franchise in town, which is the biggest of all considerations. And people just simply like him.

Now exactly when are we going to replace all of that with...with whatever the name of the 2nd-string-guy-at-the-moment happens to be?

  6. don't deserve even this team?

I live in south florida. I deal with enough people every day that don't fully grasp the english language. Please don't add TBD to that list.

The funniest thing is when someone corrects another's grammar, and the grammar being corrected is absolutely dead-on right. For your information, stu-peed-oh, saying "Don't deserve even this team" has a completely different meaning than "Don't even deserve this team." The meaning I was after is the one I expressed.

Please add yourself to those in South Florida (you mistakenly forgot to capitalize, Mensa Man!) who don't fully grasp the English (you mistakenly forgot to capitalize, Mensa Man!) language.

Your post has made an ass out of you. I don't want to be redundant.

  7. So the Bills lost a couple 3-point games. They will damn well come out firing against New England. Their fans, however, have given up. You losers don't deserve even this team.

I invite your weak-kneed replies. Fire away, weaklings. I hold almost all of you in thorough derision. You, paisley sisters, are the ones who suck.
