  1. The State Government should have insisted on a dome.  Being a huge investor, they should want a strong return.  A dome means it doubles as a huge conference center.  Winter concert venue.  Final Four College Bball tourney.  Potentially a Super Bowl.  It becomes a huge draw for other non-football events.

Also location.  I get that the land is already owned but, the area South of the city gets spanked with the localized snow.  Being further north a few miles minimizes that issue.  It would also get you closer to Niagara Falls, a huge international draw to the area which would help with the whole conference center idea.

and lastly, regarding a snowstorm, YES a dome would make the game more likely to be played.  Hotels on site or nearby would house the teams and officials etc who could walk to the stadium.   Maybe fans can’t get to the game by car, but could potentially come by train/subway.

Thanks, but I meant what does CTV OTA stand for? Is CTV Canada TV? What’s the OTA, over the air??

like that’s not CBS or NBC….? Is CTV a station??

I can pull up almost every tv channel on the planet so if I do a search for Toronto ______ is it CTV?

It's so funny to see people who probably have never seen something like this in their life commenting on it. They are clueless

For 90% of the commenters complaining, this would be the worst winter weather they have ever been a part of. This would have shut down where they are at for a week. It's only keeping us down for a day.

Expected snow totals just got updated to near 30" for Buffalo.

Is there a link for that snow total??

Actually, it's happened multiple times in other places, like both Minnesota and Philadelphia. Which you would know if you actually read the article.

Take your political crusade somewhere else.

Did you read the article? The Minny game was moved because the dome collapsed….

the Government moving the game and not the nfl (acting alone) is unprecedented

There really is something to this tho. It goes way beyond correlation.  Whenever they need to sell those PSLs - that team wins.   You can track it back to the Jon Gruden Bucs, early ravens, Matt hasselback seahawks the Cardinals the Rams (twice in two cities!) the pats the 49ers the Giants.  Within 5 years of a new stadium you get to the SB.

the cowboys and lions are the only two.  Cowboys Jerry paid for it all himself - no need.  Lions beyond help.

(Chargers and Jets don’t count bc the team they share the stadium with won instead)

  6. Regarding this play, not long ago the NFL changed the rules to allow QBs(and maybe all runners??) to give themselves up by diving head first- not just sliding.  I wonder if it could be argued that Allen was giving himself up (which he clearly is) and is therefore down in bounds before he hits the ground, just like sliding.
    Ps

If anyone thinks the NFL is really rigging it for the Bills, just show them the Eagles game.

  7. Cowherd is right (in the video clip above) that all the barriers in the AFC have been falling, but I feel like the Bills fell some this year too.  This I would say is the worst team of the past 4 years. 2022 they were slightly better and 2020-2021 they were clearly better I would say.  But strangely this might be the easiest road in.

it’s a down year totally in the AFC.  Heck the NFC too.  If this years Cowboys and Eagles teams are two of the best, and a 9-8 team wins the NFC South, it’s a down year for them too.
