Mahomes always runs on us. He always beats us more with his legs than arm. This isn’t new.
maybe the bills need to watch more of their own tape, less of others.

The cap isn't real. Look at the Eagles. They outspend us on every position it seems. Don't make no sense.
April 2023 Hurts new contract was the most ever in nfl history. They have two $100 million receivers and the highest paid running back and I presume a highly paid OL seeing as it’s the best OL in the league.
and a stud filled defense.

They didn’t do anything when the cheats sheared their way to a half dozen superbowls

Pretty sure McD has only gotten a single 10 sack season out of just one player— Leonard Floyd last year.
Scheme and design must have at least a little something to do with that. That and his trademark “rotation” for maximum “freshness”.
We really missed Leonard Floyd this year

I wish I shared your optimism. I don’t think this roster is particularly talented, I saw a number of other playoff teams with seemingly far superior talent. But we have JA.
and the draft, too many wiffs and no superstars from Beane. We needed the 2024 class to be big time contributors and it was basically a total waste. Other teams found studs, just not us.

I’d say we need defense input from outside the org. Jim Schwartz for DC.

I have to ask why Keon Coleman has not been successful at all really
Shakir can play
But Coleman looks ill fit to win games for Us
Is it Coaching ?
Or drafting ?
I was full on for 2 WRs early last year !
Pre draft I watched a number of keons YouTube highlights. If those are this best plays, I have no idea what the bills saw in him.

Besides Josh, our 1st & 2nd round picks have been for the most part underwhelming. I witnessed Worthy outplay Elam, Groot, Kincaid & Coleman combined. We saw Josh make do with less this season, but when the HELL is McB going to hit on some early defensive picks? Ever???
Stop trying to and trade the picks for good players.
Jerry jeudy wasn’t a superstar but he was traded for a 5th and 6th. Who did we draft in those rounds? I don’t even know their names, so that’s the impact they had. Jeudy had 90 catches and over 1200 yards on THE BROWNS.

Yeah. This will happen.
Give me the names of 2 HCs that you think would be absolute upgrades and would achieve what you want. Two that are better than Reid.
No one is better than Reid. But how about Spagnola? His D is clearly superior to McDs. So we improve our D and weaken theirs in one hire. We could retain Brady if you wish but I think I’d hire someone like Pederson
for the record, at this moment, I’m keeping McD but insisting he replace both coordinators with proven winners from outside the org.

I’m hoping for a big splash move for Crosby or Garrett.
I’ll be pretty upset if something like that doesn’t transpire.
with the benefit of hindsight, I’d trade every single pick in last years draft (that is, Coleman/Bishop/Carter/Davis/etc…..) for one of those guys.

The definition of insanity is having Mack Hollins be the go-to guy. Where are all these pieces? This is a GM and coaching failure. I think this go around Beane deserves more of the blame than in previous years..
If we had Worthy and they had Coleman, we win. Beane has had some poor drafts recently. The rookie class this year was essentially worthless, when we really needed home runs.
but Mack Hollins has been great.

I hate this post so much. Yeah, the Bils played no part in Allen development. He came out of Wyoming as a top qb right away. We didn’t give him the same OC for 4 years. Or trade a 1st for Diggs. Or build a great o line.
allen is a legit legend but it is the Buffalo Bills and not just the Buffalo Josh Allens. Did we betray Cook? Or Dawkins? Or Milano? Should they all requests trades.
the Chiefs traded away a top 3 wr in his prime. Mahomes should have requested a trade to get out of that abusive relationship. We treat Allen like a God. He owes Buffalo just as much as we owe him.
Being an all time legend qb is doing the most boring stuff consistently well. Mahomes doesn’t care about stats now. He does all the boring crap better than any qb since Brady.
I very much disagree with you. The chiefs have given Mahomes the best O coach and best D coach. He has HOFers on his team. He has all pros all over his team. The chiefs give him rookies that produce. His coaches call plays that give him the easiest completions. Allen has none of that. Allen will never be able to stand up straight, he breaks his back carrying the team every single week every single year
year after year after year the bills brass gets Allen no help. Not since 2020 have we had even close to what Mahomes has.
Lamar has a stacked roster and a SB winning coach.
Burrow has a stacked roster too. He will have a beef soon if they let all those guys leave.

We have issues but this doens't even come up in coversation with the majority. Does it matter if we put up 30 by running or do we have to put up 30 by passing which In your opinion is a superior 30.
My point is Allen is the reason we score 30 points a game. And Brady adds very little In Terms of creativity and scheme. Just look at how blah and vanilla our play calls were these playoffs. 6 tush pushes in a row? No other creative call?
teams play the pass and worry about Allen and that opens up the running game. I’m confident and decent coach could score 30 points with Allen and the current nfl rule book. But clearly we need someone much better to beat the chiefs.

They have to take a chance with a new coach. Simple as that. It's not happening with Schottenheim...I mean, McDermott.
In past years I’ve supported moving on from McD. But this was mcds best year. He got a below 500 roster (minus Allen) to 13 wins and the afc champ game.
I'd tell McD he did a good job but hiring within the org for coordinators isn't working. We only get yes men and we need another perspective. Bobby babich is a nobody. Demote him to LBs coach or whatever and hire a proven pro like Jim Schwartz. Then two great D minds with differing systems can bring two perspectives and create a dominant D. Schwartz won a SB with the eagles.
Then demote Brady to run game coordinator. I'm sorry but his schemes stink and our passing game has blown since he took over. Allen just covers up the succ. Bring in Doug Pederson as OC and get a proven Super Bowl winning offensive coach who can work in a spread offense with a mobile QB.
Then forget the draft and start trading for studs. Get on the phone with Cleveland and convince them they have no chance until they clear Deshawn Watson salary. Trade them Coleman Kinkaid and a bunch of future picks for Miles Garrett. Set them up to be good 3 years from now and we can be good immediately.
Then go sign Tee Higgins in free agency. Or see if you could somehow trade for Malik nabers or Brian Thomas Jr. do both and get us some superstars.
We can find role players in the 5-6 rounds. Every other resource needs to be 100% committed to find game destroyers like Chris Jones and kelce.-

This is not the year to rip McD. This roster was so wildly outmatched all over the field - Beane should be embarrassed.
Dis anyone watch the other playoff games? I see dudes way better than our dudes making plays all over the field. We don’t have dudes like that.
seriously, other than Allen, who on our team would start on the Eagles? A health Milano and Allen. But you can’t count on Milano being healthy anymore so Literally it would only be Allen!!!
And Allen wouldn’t even start on the chiefs!!!
As much as we love our guys- this roster sucks. It’s not a playoff roster at all. McD got us 13 wins and the the AFC championship game with a below average roster and Allen. I think we should be happy with that.
no Brady. Brady ticks me off and I blame that on McD. We should have hire Kliff Kingsbury like I wanted.

Since 2000, teams with 4+ TDs and 0 Turnovers in a playoff game are 59-3
The three losses
Bills vs. Chiefs in the 2024 AFC Championship
Bills vs. Chiefs in the 2021 Divisional Round
Chiefs vs. Patriots in the 2018 AFC ChampionshipJosh Allen has 25 tds and 4 turnovers in 13 playoff games.
Bills defense have now surrendered 38, 42, 27, and 32 points in all four of their losses to the Chiefs. What makes this STAT most alarming is each one of those scores was the most points the Chiefs scored that year in the playoffs.
Bills have a defense issue and it is painfully obvious they will never win until this is addressed. Allen basically has to come out slinging immediately because his defense does not give him time to breathe. I've watched Mahomes, Brady, Burrow, Manning all struggle early in games only to win because their defense made multiple stops in the first half. Bills defense have serious problems against elite competition and this is year 5 of this mess.
I personally thought the D played well yesterday. We lost because of offense. Brady was terrible and I don’t want him back after such a horrible outing. 0/2 on 2 pt conversions. Tush push was seemingly our only play and like a spoiled toddler he kept trying it no matter how much it didn’t work. No one was schemed open on passing plays. Josh has to manufacture everything. like the chiefs, who on 3rd/9 with the game on the line, schemed a dude wide the freak open for an easy 15 yards. EASY.
where was that play for us Brady?!?!? You have a dozen tries where’s the play!! No play action with mid direction crossing route to a RB or TE to be wide open ?! Why no pass to Alec Anderson the tackle eligible?! There was nothing and it was embarrassing.
josh Allen carries this whole team and especially Brady

if the dude requested a trade I wouldn’t hold it against him one bit. I’d follow him to another team and could maybe leave this abusive relationship behind

It’s all so QB dependent. Baltimore has the supporting cast, that Allen really just hasn’t had. Mahomes and burrow have had that cast too.
Lamar is really good but his arm is the limitation. He can’t get past Mahomes or Allen because he is inferior to those two.

It’s hard to beat a good team twice. I really hope Allen goes off this next game.

After seeing our defensive gameplan against Baltimore, I’m much more confident we could stop the Eagles. Barkley is more elusive in the open field but J Hurts? He Certainly scares no one.

Mahomes is a combined 32-0 when he plays in games officiated by Martin, Rogers, Blake, Boger, Hill, Novak, or Eck. See Athletic article linked in original post.
So the NFL can easily put its finger on the scale by assigning by one of those crews for Sunday.
unfortunately having tay tays bf in the stands will draw more eyes to the SB

I always try to explain this to non-bills fans. Everything is difficult for the Bills. It’s made easy for players on other (good) teams.
