We have 3 WRs on the PS. Chances are good at least 1 of them gets elevated this week.

And if we went undefeated in the AFC East like we did year before last but lost games outside of the AFC east you would be saying you wanted to see that
If you’re referring to the fact that we haven’t been able to get over the hump to the Super Bowl yet with a Josh Allen lead team I think that’s arrogance because this team has been very good for several new years now there’s absolutely no reason not to have confidence in this team would you rather that we be a middling eight and 8 for 10 years straight?
we have a chance to win the Super Bowl a realistic chance every single year for the last two years and this year and we’re probably going to have realistic chances now that we have Josh Allen for several years to come there is no reason for people to be down on this team
I was just referring to the overall fact that we've had a lot of memorable/crushing losses over the years which makes some people a little hesitant to go all in. For some, the fear of getting hurt again overrides the joy of falling in love.
Also, that was just a general reply to the basic question being asked of why do some lack confidence, not specific to myself. I have the same love and confidence for this team that I always do.

81 yard run was due to the safety taking the worst angle have ver watched on an NFL game. Injuries caused that, not coaching. Who was that, Cam Lewis?
Yep. Juked Benford and then Cam had terrible angle.
Cam also tried to catch that 4th and long to Jefferson…JUST KNOCK IT DOWN!!!!!
First start at safety. He had some good plays but a few critically horrible ones.
We miss Poyer so much.
Didn’t Edmunds miss the whole 2nd half too?

Qb sneak would never get overturned - those calls never do.
The int should have been challenged. I saw an angle that shows TE with ball in his right arm and the receiver is pulling on his left arm as they went to the ground. Should have been an int and down by contract.
Pivotal play in the game. We’re on to Minnesota.

My favorite item is a NO Saints Ricky Jackson Pro Set football card from 1990 where the pic on it is of him sacking Kelly and causing a fumble. I got Kelly to sign it when I was at his football camp in probably 1993. I got Jackson to sign it in Canton when Andre got inducted. Fairly certain it is truly 1 of a kind.
I am working on collecting autographs of all the Bills hall of famers on the version of mini helmet that they wore when they played. Only need Andre, Bruce and Kelly but I do have a full size helmet signed by Andre.
I have 2 game used NFL balls. One from a Bills game on the early 80s and one from a Panthers game from 2004. The latter one was with us in our wedding photo taken on the 50 yard line at the Ralph 8/28/04.

Take look at the team photo from 1988. 4 players in front row with #s in the 20s and they each alternate styles. Then it keeps alternating with #s 42, 52 & 62.
Very strange indeed.
Maybe buy the jersey from 1990 and update the tag to show 1986?

He did an interview before the season started and said he just physically can’t anymore due to lingering issues from that hip injury.

Hmmm…astroturf lawn. 🤔🤔
I might ask my hoa if I can do that so I don’t have to mow and it stays green year round.

Crazy watching these older games. Both QBs threw for under 100 yards. Looked like we were running the wishbone offensive at times with Thurman as the lead blocker for Mueller on multiple plays. Biscuit still wearing #55 was a beast in this game. Bills D scored twice.
Takes me back…I was 10 years old at the time. Thanks for posting.
Here’s the box score for anyone interested.

This thread got me thinking of what my original screen name was. First one was a play on my name. Then I changed it to 3–>10 connection after EJ completed a beautiful long TD pass to Bobby Trees (against the Ravens IIRC) and I thought I’d be watching them light up the league for years. Obviously that didn’t work out so once they were both gone I had to come up with something new.
Great thread btw.

One of the worlds greatest leaders. Pax Romanus
What would you change it to??
I’m not sure and don’t want to speculate now. I’m a don’t put the cart in front of the horse kind of guy. That’s a challenge I hope to have to face then. -

A few weeks back a forum member asked me about the meaning of my screen name. I thought it would be fun during this down time to perhaps share some back ground with each other.
I’ll start, I am a big fan of the Italian car brand Alfa Romeo and of course our Bills. Pretty simple really I made portmanteau of the two.
I hope I have to change mine in February.- 1

We’ve kicked the crap out of them with our backups before so this is no different. JA17 keeps rolling.

Thanks for making me cry at work, LOL.
What a great video. I remember exactly where I was and who I was with for so many of those highlights...and lowlights.

We’re talented enough that no one should be able to beat this team except themselves. That being said, a let down is expected at some point. Probably against a team that had no business winning; like the jags last year.
Flip side- I don’t think anyone can deny that it would be pretty cool to brag about a 20-0 team 10+ years from now.

No matter what, Arizona is stuck with paying that full signing bonus. The rest of his salary will not be at all expensive. He will become even more of a major headache and will get traded.
His signing bonus is less than $30M. I think You’re confusing signing bonus and guaranteed money. A lot of his guaranteed money is his base salary, which any team that trades for him would owe. The rest of his contract is really expensive, go look up the breakdown. No one will trade for that contract.

Who wants to take bets that Murray will be traded by the end of 2025?
No way anyone would take the contract if it came to that. Solid bet he’ll be cut tho.
That is insane that they have to put these clauses in there. I love Josh more and more.

Nah man. Streaming only for the win. DirecTV is a dinosaur
I don’t disagree re DIRECTV but the quality of the feeds for the streaming games last year were horrible. Plus, as crazy as it sounds in 2022, not everyone has access to great internet. I have only 1 option in my area and that’s the local cable company. Sometimes I have no issues with streaming, other times it’s choppy.6 hours ago, BTB said:As long as the contract helps contribute to the owners making fistfuls of money, they could not care less about the ratings.
The only ones concerned with ratings are those shelling out massive amounts of green paper.
Unfortunately this is true.43 minutes ago, 97bills said:Call them, I called two weeks ago after reading on here how everyone was getting it free. The first time the guy told me they randomly pick loyal customers. So I called back 3 days ago and got the NFL ticket max for free. My first time ever getting it free and I’ve been a customer for 7 years. So if you don’t get it the first call keep trying. Oh yea this is important ask for the loyalty department when you call
Did they make you sign a contract when you did? In the past whenever they offered this you had to sign up for 2 more years. -
I hope the Thursday night football rating on Amazon are so low this year that the NFL realizes that steaming only options are not a good idea.

Wasn't he constantly having contract "issues" with the Bills?
I seem to remember feeling happy when we finally traded him.
However, I could be mixing this up with someone else.
I wouldn’t say constantly. JP was our RT and we resigned him to RT money. He played the full year at RT and then we moved him to LT halfway through the next season. He made the pro bowl and then held out all of training camp the next year. He wanted to be paid LT money, which I don’t really blame him. At that time LTs made about twice what RTs did. He came back for week 1 and then made the pro bowl again and was 2nd team all pro.
We still wouldn’t pay him but probably burned all bridges at that point so he was traded before the draft.

Is this an Ochosinco kind of thing? Jordan Power does have a nice ring to it.
