  2. Can we get fractional points for 3Pts attempted?  If so, My #1 pick is Antoine Walker.

    442184[/snapback]

lol....i think the system that the heat run will keep his 3 pointers in check a little bit....but that said he is perenially one of the if not the top man in 3 pointers attempted.

YOU SHOULD DEF PICK HIM 1st....then tony allen....the mark blount.......then delonte west.............then............maybe...........pierce....who needs the rest of the league?

  3. ha haha hahaha ha....no wasn't so much talking about gagging. i think i'll stick with the original term "gaging" and we'll go from there.

personally i LOVE the nba. love college ball too but watching the influx of youthful talent in the league the last few years has peeked my interest. doesn't hurt that my baby bulls are finally growing up and that melo's nuggets are entering the league's elite.

  5. it has been awhile since i have been to this thread....but with the new season starting in less than two weeks i propose that we ditch the notion of having a single LOST thread to discuss everything LOST and have one thread per episode....perhaps labeled "LOST - Season 2, Episode 1."

Personally i just think that would do a lot to organize our thoughts and make it at least possible for the discussion to be researched at a later date. Say for example, we are discussing episode 13 and then someone thinks of something back from episode 2. Rather than having to score through a thread with well over 1000 posts, you could easily go back to the episode in question and find our comments.

Like i said, this is just an idea but IMHO i think it would add to our LOST experience. What does everyone think?

  6. that is tough to swallow considering he was my first pick....i too have thought of that though. my biggest problem with sitting willis is that even if he doesn't get a ton of yardage, he is such a good goal line back that i think he'll get 2 TDs just from having the carries in the red zone.

hard to sit green/westbrook because of their receiving prowess

hard to sit anderson because he is denver's starting RB

at this point i think maybe green is the one to sit because detoit's D looked really good against us, the packers have lost a lot of talent on their o-line, and davenport looks to be getting some extra carries (more than normal).

keep the advice coming...PLEASE...and state the logic behind your choice

  7. i am pulling my hair out trying to figure out who to start at RB:

need to start 3 RB's, here are the choices:

    (1 reception = 1 pt, then the standard 10 yards = 1 pt for reception and rushing yards, and TD's = 6pts)

    m. anderson vs miami

    w. mcgahee vs houston

    b. westbrook vs atlanta

    a green vs detroit

  8. i'm not going to go out and say that MW was the best RT in the league last year, but i will put him in the top 5 for sure. i would also say he was probably the best run blocking RT in the league.

second, in reading this thread i had an idea that i hadn't thought of before. perhaps the "plan" for MW was to ease him in the the nfl - its spead and physicality - by playing RT until Jonas left. ok ok, now jonas is gone and we have seen mike blossom into one of the best RTs in the league. i can't say for sure but i believe that MW is up for a contract in the next year or two. perhaps TD is thinking ahead and realizing it would be a better financial decision to put off the move to LT (LTs make A LOT more money) until after MW is under contract long term. mike would be able to blossom as a RT, perhaps we could find a cheaper solution to LT in the process during the years MW refined the RT position (gandy????), and we save 5 million per year against the cap because we pay him as a RT instead of a LT. crazy theory and probably way to overanalyzed, but worth consideration.

  9. first, here's the trade i made:

andre johnson for stephen davis/santana moss

second, i am pulling my hair out trying to figure out who to start at RB:

need to start 3 RB's, here are the choices:

    (points for receptions count)

    m. anderson vs miami

    w. mcgahee vs houston

    b. westbrook vs atlanta

    a green vs detroit

  10. this thread is getting me WAAAAY to pumped up about tomorrow. in fact i am going to "say" that i am not going to read it again because it is torture to be this pumped up 33 hours and 27 minutes before kickoff.

    LET'S GO BUFFALO!!!!
