1. Certainly not  meant to be personal.  In fact, I'm a big fan of all three examples that I gave.  The point is that the mind can be an extremely powerful detriment....in sports and life.

Daivid went through some rough mental times....divorce all kinds of crap us normal people go through..he is making a comeback...now Nate....I could enjoy football without him

  2. Please post your name TBD name and parking area desired.                              I will PM you to confirm that you are on the list.

The week before the TBD party I will post a final parking list.

If you want to park in the TBD Tailgate TENT party area, after your name type TENT. Because TENT parking area is Very Limited, who gets to park there will be determined by a super secret inner circle selection committee.

If you don't care where you park on Hammer's Lot, type GENERAL after your name.

TENT parking starts at 6:30 am and ends at 7am SHARP. Sharp means SHARP. Not there by 7am you LOSE your TENT parking spot.

    GENERAL parking starts at 7am.

Any questions? PM me. No wise anal comments to be posted on this thread or Buddy the "Wonder Dog" will give you a 1 legged salute.

When I played soccer at Canisius, Father Dugan used to sit on the bench with us...wow didn't know he was still around..small world...I wear my canisius stuff down here in VaBeach..only Buffalo people say anything

  4. Tino is FINISHED.

He was the worst signing Walt Jocketty ever made in St. Louis.

I have to admit as a Red Sox fan...I always thought Tino was ok...but I think his better years have passed himed by...I know Roger Clemens..my friends, he is no Roger Clemens (with regards to age and performance)

  5. True.  True.

But the sick part is that even if I were to buy the tailgate food & drink for the whole crew, it would still be cheaper than for Lisa & I to go out around here for New Years.

Keep hitting that Google link folks, I need some beer cash.

Paul, don't worry about tickets.  January in Buffalo, if you spend $40 for a ticket at the parking lot, you've paid too much.

Gerry...send Dona an email tomorrow...talk her into it. Tell her what a great NYE we will have with Ken, Jay-Bird and Miquel. You are always very convincing

  6. My God. Once you come within 2 miles of the Stadium on Big Tree Rd., 20,20A, Abbott..you'll see several dozen people buying/selling tickets. Put on your best " Let's make a deal " face and get your price.

There are ALWAYS tickets for sale.

    172408

Never bought them on game day...always had them ahead of time...guess thats our only option..not paying a ticket broker..payed one for ravens game...$35 tickets for $115

  7. Soccer was my sport, I played at Canisuis, we were only D-III but it was very competitive. Played one year of All-Navy. Also many year of slow pitch softball in Navy. But alas, the knees went and 4 surgeries later my active sports career is over. I coach high school soccer, carry a 17 handicap for golf and had been playing in a C league for adult hockey....stopped playing hockey at 13 (that checking hurt) and picked it up again at 36. So now at 44 i wish the body could more, god i remember the days of 160lbs and quick (225lbs now) I still think in my mind I could do alot but you have to adjust with time.

  8. the world hq for peta in downtown norfolk has atop it a big bunny looking statue

i've wanted for some time to get a group of real estate investors together to purchase one of the nearby buildings and place atop it a statue of a hunter in orange cammies pointing a shotgun at the peta building

    154180

Shows you the status of PETA...they moved out of their building in Norfolk and moved world HQ to a large 6 bedroom house in Norfolk

  9. You can hide from the truth, it's become a way of life for the left, but national polls show that Laura Bush is one of the most adored first ladies since numbers began to be taken for them (I assume you adore Jackie O, who had similar numbers?). One does not have to admire Karen Hughes and Dr. Rice to realize they are strong, stable and intelligent, not the kind of women who would prescribe gin soaked raisins for the arthritic!

But hey, if you submit a resume early Shrum may have some openings for partisans in blinders like yourself- Good luck in '08!

    150587

Please be real, Laura Bush is not even in the picture. If anything she is a Stepford first lady. Hillary and Barbara Bush were more in the forefront. I'm sorry but the everyday American is not mentioning her as "adored", Jackie O was adored.
