  1. What about signing Maake Kemoeatu or Grady Jackson in March ? Both are true 2 gappers. Keep Adams in addition and the DT shortage is gone. Cut Edwards. That experiment is played.
  2. Basleless soundbites without any merit. Pure filler.
  3. Actually, Marv surprisingly started by stuttering badly and looked 10 years older than a week ago. He was definitely concerned with the questioning and lacked a little composure.
  4. No, that's Alaska Darin.
  5. " So Sully, we're on our way to the bath house. You bringing the soap ? "
  6. This is due to the swerve by Marv at the Press Conference, even though Wilson said NO earlier. Kept avoiding saying NO when pressed about his possible return to the sidelines. They are just drilling this belief right now. I sure hope they start interviewing people soon and don't call another PC for 2PM today, with Marv wearing a coaches hat. Yeah, I know. It's WGR.
  7. - Do you worry about your image as an organization around the NFL ? - Are you just going to hire another old Bills face to save time, effort and $$ ? - Are you all leaving town later today ? Who's in charge here ? I'm betting the kid gloves are off with the press.
  8. Should we move this to the new STFU forum ?
  9. Too late. They called me to OBD and told me to wear my suit. Bartender for the post conference lunch ? Not the gig I had in mind.
  10. He's the first candidate to interview. More to follow.
  11. That will be confirmed at 11am when Ralph hits the podium without pants.
  12. Since were desperate to revisit the past with ex-Bills players being considered for the HC position, ( Haslett, Kay Stevenson etc. ) Flores was a former bad backup QB during the late 60's for the Bills. Along the way, he did manage to win 2 SB's as Coach of the Oakland Raiders. Later went on to coach Seattle. Been out of the game for a while and is probably close to 70 years of age. A perfect fit here. A proven winner, old and off the radar. GIT R DONE, MARV !
  13. Hey Gina, I just saw a Pats fan. Let's go heckle him to tears.
  14. Quality post. You are part of that Solid % , correct ?
  15. That's right. A few idiots that exist in every community and get the publicity are a true indicator of the entire local population. Come on. You are preaching to the choir here.
  16. According to this mornings Buff News, he did quit and will receive nothing. Make sure to blast everyone about it in the coffee room at work.
  17. The Bills could take their time but with Senior Bowl week fast approaching ( out of work coaches/asst. coaches by the bushel will be there looking for jobs, as is tradition ), a quick hire is likely. ( Within 5 days, I'm betting. ) Bobby April was rumored to be promoted to asst. HC. Marv was a ST's coach in his early days and would obviously like this idea. Ted Cottrell has a past with Marv and is well liked. Obvious Haslett will be on the phone, begging for this job and would take Ralphs' soup and a sammich salary to do it. Give the HC a 3 year contract and offer the asst. coaches the same 3 year deal to attract some quality. Give this team some stability and return to the business of finding player talent during the off-season.
  18. I like your idea. My feeling is Ralph likes taking the easy way out ( Like Marv ) and just calls Haslett.
  19. Retaining Mularkey last week was NOT a popular decision with the local fanbase. His leaving will give many hope and be the actual fresh start many wanted.
  20. Ferentz stated today he's staying at Iowa. Kubiak looks like the next Houston coach. Not a fan of Haslett. He should have been fired 2 years ago and threw Kent Hull under the bus, alluding he did roids.
  21. Most asst's know a new coach will usually get a minimum of 3 years to prove themselves IN A STABLE SITUATION. This looked like a 1 year deal, if not less. Plus the unproven Marv as GM ?
  22. I think WE can all relate to this.
  23. A solid coach could also see himself adding the GM job in 2 years, when Marv can't find his pants. It really is a good situation. Ralph has to ante up now.
  24. Ralph told Mularkey to talk to Wade.
  25. According to both Ch.7's John Murphy and Ch. 4's Dennis Williams, Mularkey had too many asst. coaching candidates telling him they were not interested coming here because of his shaky status, upon contacting them. So he took the bullet but also wants a financial settlement for the 3 years left on his contract. Good job, Ralph.
