  1. 7-9...this team is SO not ready for the playoffs with our piss-poor offensive line and Bledsoe's seemingly diminishing skills. Until we find a suitable replacement for Bledsoe and his "pat pat pat" technique (and the only real good replacement on roster wont be available to us until Week 12), we'll be stuck in neutral.

  2. Watson?  Watson? Someone actually brought him to camp?  I assumed he was selling Weber Grills or working for Hostess in the Pop Tart division with his penchant for being toasted.....  :w00t:  :(

They were going to change the name of the nickle back position because it overvalued him...

    Okay I am done  :o

Chris Watson, lining up at the penny-back position...

  3. Has Rashad Baker always been second on the roster?

That mo-fo hits hard.  I dig him.

I remember the biggest knock on Baker coming out of college was that he had ALL the tools to become a dominant college Safety, and translate that into a starting NFL job, but he could never bring it together because of immaturity. If he has indeed turned the corner in that department, we have a guy with 1st-2nd round talent who we snagged up off the streets.

  4. I hope there is something to the Sobieski back and shoulder thing. Wasn't Sobieski a 4th round pick last year? That is pretty fast turnaround on a relatively high draft pick. Obviously, somebody at One Bills Drive thinks Puccio has some game, given all the time and opportunity he has been given to develop.

The only thing that bugs me buftex--is that Sobieski was not even a starter in college for most of his career because of the shoulder issue...he even shared time as a senior. That's UDFA material to me -- not a draft choice....a little frustrating to waste a pick but it won't be the first or the last...

Actually he was a 5th round pick...still, not a good move on TD's part.

  5. I have this weird feeling that Mularkey is "saving" Evans for the regular season. In the games I've seen on replay, most of the time the QBs arent even looking at him, even though he has decent seperation from the CB. It makes me wonder whether or not Mularkey, who is known to do some wacky planning, is trying to keep Evans under wraps and unleash him on the Jags in the opening game.
