I really hope starting Freddy over frank gore doesn't end up costing me my fantasy championship but I'm already regretting it.

Edema is impt due to WR and returning kicks. Blount is another head at RB so no big deal. We really need a NE victory this week and them to get banged up in the process.
The hardest part about all these scenarios is us beating brady in foxboro. Regardless, I am thrilled that the game will basically be a playoff game for us

Focus on Raiders NE - the rest will shake out. I feel really good that the remaining games with PItt, Balt, SD, etc will allow us to get in at 10 (if we get there)

They are both on the brink of getting out of mediocrity. The main difference....they have hope in a franchise qb in Johnny Manziel and we have lost all hope in ours.
If Manziel turns out to be a stud, and we don't fix our problem immediately this offseason with a good proven veteran that can at least play (cutler is top of mind for me) and bridge us to the next guy we draft, then we will definitely be heading in opposite directions.

I am interested in your over all grade 1-10. He now has more receptions then Joe Cribbs (52) who held the rookie record for receptions.
Watkins now has 58
I have two gripes, catches EVERYTHING in Practice but appears to give up on game day passes AND an annoying durability problem.
Keep in mind, this is a rookie and if this guy continues to improve he will be well worth the drafting price it cost Buffalo..
I give him an overall score of 8
I would counter the "annoying" durability problem by indicating that he's actually played tough through the injuries. If he's been out all season then annoying may be the right way to describe, but I think he's tough as hell
I also think he's by far the best player on our side of the ball offensively, love his attitude, and with a better qb can look like the AJ Green, Julio Jones, and dez Bryant's of the league. With more experience, if he turns out like those guys I think the price was worth it.
Mike Evans is a stud but wouldn't have been there at our original pick. Odell Beckham is better than I thought coming out of college, but I like sammy.
With regards to what we gave up, I honestly think nexus years qb class is a dud. Not a fan of Mariotta or Winston, and I think it's a little deeper where someone in the 2nd round could be had.

If it stops us from running the fake reverse screen pass to fred, then yes.
Our playcalling is so inconsistent I can't stand it. The only thing that can be executed is the 5 and out pass to hogan or some dump off to chandler or fred. We are too afraid to let it go downfield or the qb simply doesn't have time with urbik getting destroyed

Respectfully, I'd take Dareus again in a heart beat. I love the guy.
Understand, the guy had been a beast and I love him. That was an amazing draft class, and given that all of these guys turned out to be elite at their positions, I prefer a top WR or corner over a top DT. Either way, I'm glad that at least that pick wasn't a bust cause there might be some HOF talent in that class, also given JJ watt went a few picks later than these guys

given our current situation, draft picks, and market of qbs, I would be ecstatic to have Jay Cutler.
This years draft class is not good at the QB spot, our situation is an out right dumpster Fire, and Jay is much netter than anyone else in the market. I wouldn't mind giving RG3 a chance out of washington as a consolation, but the injury history scares me. The guy is tought tho, which given recent events with our current qb, means a lot

Yeah - he could've been a Bill (or AJ Green). I like Dareus, but I would take Patrick Peterson, AJ green, or Julio over him in a draft re-do. I've never been a big fan of DTs going so high. Only guy ive ever thought was worth a top 5 pick coming out was Suh

If Denver can run like this they are unbeatable imo
What makes them unbeatable is a dominant qb and a league that doesn't allow defensive backs to play. Wonder when they will just finally go to 2 hand touch

i believe we can win 2 of next 3, with a showdown with NE for a playoff berth (10-6 will get us in I believe once it's all said and done)
I think we actually match up well with denver as long as we can put some pressure on manning. I see a very close, but heartbreaking loss. Def think we stay in this game until the 4th and would take the points from Vegas
GB is a tough matchup, but at least we get them at home. Our teams seem to always have a December home win
Oakland will give us a fight, but if we can get to them at 8-6, then we pull the victory and all hell breaks loose in Foxboro
