  1. Meant to tell you
    Tell you from the start
    Meant to show you
    What's inside this shallow heart
But I could not find the words
    Worthy enough to say

    I slipped along the way
    I slipped along the way

Another network show that I'm watching on Hulu.  Flatch, it's pretty damned funny.  I get a corner gas/letterkenny vibe from it, mostly because of the small town aspect of it, stifler is the only actor I recognize, and he's even pretty much a supporting role.  I'm about 6 episodes in and am really enjoying it

Watched a handful of episodes. Very funny. Definitely see the Letterkenny vibe crossed with Parks and Rec.

  3. Radios of the world are tuning in tonight,
Are you on the dial, are you tuned in right?
One of our D.J.'s is missing.
    Are you listening?
    Are you listening to me?
    Can you hear me?
    Can you hear me clearly?
    Around the dial.

  4. Now, I'm lookin' to the sky to save me
Lookin' for a sign of life
Lookin' for somethin' to help me burn out bright
And I'm lookin' for a complication
Lookin' cause I'm tired of lyin'
Make my way back home when I learn to fly high

Saw the first episode and thought it was pretty good. Adult me wants all of the Star Wars content to be grittier, but my expectations for Disney have been appropriately set.....

Watched the first two, and it's just meh (which is pretty much as expected). The acting so far ranges from ok, or at least entertaining (Kumail Nanjiani, Ewan, Jimmy Smits) to "Star Wars Standard" (most everyone else) to wtf awful (Third Sister inquisitor). And how come no adult can run as fast as a 10 year old?

Season 1 of the Mandalorian set the bar high, and no Disney+ Star Wars shows since have come close.

  6. I see red
    And it hurts my head
I guess it must be something
    That I read

It's the color of your heartbeat
    A rising summer sun
    The battle lost or won
    The flash to fashion
    The pulse to passion
    Feels red inside my head

  7. I lost myself on a cool, damp night
I gave myself in that misty light
Was hypnotized by a strange delight
    Under a lilac tree

I made wine from the lilac tree
Put my heart in its recipe
Makes me see what I want to see
And be what I want to be

  8. I'm all out of faith, this is how I feel
I'm cold and I am shamed
    Lying naked on the floor
    Illusion never changed
    Into something real
I'm wide awake and I can see the perfect sky is torn
    You're a little late
    I'm already torn

  9. In your eyes
The light, the heat (in your eyes)
I am complete (in your eyes)
I see the doorway (in your eyes)
To a thousand churches (in your eyes)
    The resolution (in your eyes)
Of all the fruitless searches (in your eyes)

  10. I want to break free, I want to break free
I want to break free from your lies
    You're so self-satisfied I don't need you
    I've got to break free
God knows, God knows I want to break free

  11. If you need somebody (free, free, set them free)
Call my name (free, free, set them free)
If you want someone (free, free, set them free)
You can do the same (free, free, set them free)

If you want to keep something precious (free, free, set them free)
You got to lock it up and throw away the key (free, free, set them free)
You wanna hold onto your possession (free, free, set them free)
Don't even think about me (free, free, set them free)

  12. So bye-bye, Miss American Pie
Drove my Chevy to the levee
    But the levee was dry
Them good old boys were drinking whiskey and rye
Singing, "This'll be the day that I die"
This will be the day that I die

  13. Learning to match the beat of the old-world man
Learning to catch the heat of the third-world man

He's got to make his own mistakes
And learn to mend the mess he makes
He's old enough to know what's right
And young enough not to choose it
He's noble enough to win the world
But weak enough to lose it

    He's a new-world man
