Bills over Vikings

Courage the Cowardly Dog!

1438 and 4.4
&
1356 and 4.1
Those are 2003 and 2002 Rushing Yards and YPC #'s for Travis behind what we all will agree was a terrible line, please don't question what Travis can do behind a bad line or that he could have benefited from Mouse McNally as well...BTW Willis is currently averaging 3.8 YPC....
Travis can't block. Willis can and it makes a huge difference in this offense. B)

A marginal fan believes college hype and thinks the new guy with no experience or even 1 yr of experience will lead to the Super Bowl. A marginal fan does'nt know about the Ryan Leaf's, Heath Schuler Rick Meirer's etc..... Not Saying JP is in that category but you have to give a rookie at least two years before he can be effective. Look at Eli's performance yesterday.

Where is NONE?
The best W out of these games will be kicking Pittsburg's Arse at Home!

1. QB - Losman in, Drew out.
Your expectations for JP are unrealistic. The QB position requires playing time, the obligatory mistakes and the gaining of confidence. This is usually a 2 or 3 year process before you can even find out if you have a "bust" on your hands.

Frank Lewis was over 6ft. Kind of a big smooth receiver back in the day. He wasn't a burner.

...and you'd rather split the Bills fathful into camps and have them argue with each other. There's no one here that doesn't want this team 10-6. People who wanted JP are not "marginal" fans. They are people who honestly think it would be our best chance to win in '05. 90% of the people here want the Bills to win a Super Bowl as soon as possible. Why does this board constantly ignore that fact?

All those hoping for rookie training will have to wait a little longer.

Haven't seen Willis play much this year been too busy. Did he lose his breakaway speed? No 60 yd bursts like I expected....

What the heck happened to Bledsoe? I apologize to those who were antagonized by my backing him. I had no idea a 32 yr old former pro bowler's skills could diminish so rapidly. It's actually kind of weird.

He probably feels that way because many of us TBD girls talk about tight pants and butts and other OT things.
But, I don't fly all the way from Dallas to Buffalo a couple of times a year just to yell, "go Bills go". I'm comitted to supporting the team and come to get a better perpective by watching them perform live. You can miss a lot of the sideline and off camera action watching on DirecTV. Yes - there's a whole lot about the game I don't know. But it doesn't matter to me - male or female, I'm a fan. That's all that matters.
Sorry ladies just venting at your expense...

The real problem is most fans on this board have never actually played the game and are therfore very marginal in their knowledge. Girls especially subscribe to "Go Go Buffalo,Bills All the Way" not understanding the psycological intricacies that go into every game. The Nintendo faction just wants immediate gratification and usually rants in a two year old mentality blaming "dad" (Tom Donohoe). The rest of us realize that on any given Sunday the teams are equal in talent and it becomes a chess game. Coaching ,fukey bounces and subconcious "just give it to em".(refs usually for the home team or the team with the best record.) I thought the Bills would be much better than this early but signs are beginning to appear they may yet suprise us.

Win last week put us on track. Bills 23 Ravens 13. Bill will go on to win 8 in a row.

I'm a Lauren Green fan myself.

I've never seen such a divided electorate with this much passion. To me it boils down to Humanists vs a God Fearing populace. Whoever get's elected there is sure to be a backlash. For me the hatred surfaced for the first time back in Seattle around 1997 at a WTO meeting . There was serious rioting by crazed world anarchists who have bought into all the academic conspiracy theories (ie Trilateral Commission) we've heard at the Universities. Can there be a bigger buffoon than Michael Moore? Or a more vast wasteland of airwaves than MTV? What's happening to the good old USA?

Let's just take them one at a time. The Bills have a lot of talent. I know I sound crazy but Im not.
-
They have no idea how Fired Up fat Sam will be.
-
Henry has "Carnie" hands. Too small for catching the football and hanging on to it.
-
By the time we beat the Jets at Home all will be well in Billsville.
McGahee will be the story line along with the patient Drew. Watch and see. Our schedule is littered with cupcakes like Arizona and St Louis. We'll probably even steal the game in NE on Sunday night if the refs just don't "just give it to them."

But Butler, rest his soul, looks a lot better now. Sure, he overpaid his players to win. There were salary cap ramifications. But Butler's players justified the investment. They won and made the playoffs. In the days under former college scouting chief Dwight Adams, the Bills drafted players in the lower rounds (John Holecek, Jay Riemersma) who could actually play. Pro personnel director A.J. Smith found free agents (Flutie, Washington, Gash) who outperformed their contracts. They discovered an undrafted free agent, Pat Williams, who to this day is one of the few bargains on the team.
All you guys who only play video games and fantasy football and therefore bashed one of the best GM's we ever had... even Jerry Sullivan has changed his tune.
