  1. MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT!!! The 3rd annual TBD Offseason Tailgate will be the weekend of June 17-19. The details are still being ironed out, but we are trying to put together a cookout at one of the local parks. Last year, we did the Inner Harbor cruise and the year before that, we just hung out at the Harbor. This year, we'll try something a bit different. Not to worry, there WILL be the obligatory trip to the Baltimore Improv on Saturday night. We've always had a great time there.

  3. Ah, the mystery has been revealed!
  4. Lori, who the heck is Will Wolfordother?
  5. Do you feel confident and secure?
  6. None, apparently.
  7. My uncle had his convocation yesterday and has received his PhD in child psychology. You da man, unc! Feel free to check out my latest blog entry to find out the details and see the photos from yesterday's ceremony.
  8. Have we met?
  9. Our 3rd annual TBD Offseason Tailgate will be next month, probably the 2nd or 3rd weekend. I'll have the details posted some time this week over in the Balt/Wash Area Events forum.
  10. That same show on the Food Network (Unwrapped) was on this afternoon and the name of the place is the Riverview Restaurant in Laughlin, Nevada. The burger is small compared to the 7 and 15lb ones, considering it's "only" 1.25lbs.
  11. I might have wanted to go before the meeting, had it not taken me until 5:30pm to get to town that day.
  12. I like: Killian's Red Yuengling Amstel Light Sam Adams (that Oktoberfest stuff is good; thanks Lori) Chimay and Hoegarden(thanks KRC) Berliner Kindl Schultheiss Icehouse (a good, cheap beer) Pilsner Urquell (a good, not so cheap beer) Rolling Rock (a guilty pleasure of sorts) Capital City Brewing Co's kolsch and amber brews Stroh's (another guilty pleasure; polished off many a 30 pack back in the day) for starters. and... I dislike: Pudweiser and its demon spawn (Pud Light, Pud Dry, Pud Reeks, etc.) Gobel Schaefer (man, does that stuff taste terrible) Milwaukee's Best (a college staple, but what did I know then?) I'm sure there's more, but that's a good start.
  13. Can't complain. Really, I'm not allowed to. Check your PM's.
  14. Or torch it all.
  15. Yeah, but can you get that big melon head of yours inside the helmet nowadays?
  16. You could hang out more w/ those of us in the MD/DC/VA area who feel the same way, ya know.
  17. Cut it when you feel like cutting it.
  18. Koehler? They still made that? The Koehler brewery in Erie shut down when I was about 7 or 8. Maybe that's why it tasted so much like puke to you.
  19. Mmmmm.......swilllll!
  20. Gobel and the Pudweiser family of "beers".
  21. I'm certainly no elite gamer. I like EA Sports' games. I have a couple hockey games, a few NBA games, and their NCAA football games in addition to the Madden games.
