  1. And you didn't call? It wouldn't matter anyway. We were in Morgantown, WV watching my uncle get his PhD.
  2. Yoo have a problem w/ fonettick spelling?
  3. I stand by my original choice: Psycho Ward 86.
  4. Very intuitive, those Iranians.
  5. Didn't the Iranians give up the hostages on the day Reagan was innaugurated?
  6. I'm just curious to know where Nixon and Reagan would be on this list.
  7. You sound like a slob who would appreciate that sort of thing.
  8. My wife is a big fan of Dean Koontz (he went to our alma mater, Shippensburg University). She said that while the TV movie wasn't as good as the book (when are they?), John McGinley was very good as the lead. I dunno. I didn't read the book or watch the movie. Again w/ the JSP list? Oh boy.
  9. May I inquire as to why Presidents Carter and Clinton are on the same list w/ Mao and Stalin?
  10. Eye ughrea. Ecksullint.
  11. MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT!!! The 3rd annual TBD Offseason Tailgate will be the weekend of June 17-19. The details are still being ironed out, but we are trying to put together a cookout at one of the local parks. Last year, we did the Inner Harbor cruise and the year before that, we just hung out at the Harbor. This year, we'll try something a bit different. Not to worry, there WILL be the obligatory trip to the Baltimore Improv on Saturday night. We've always had a great time there.

  13. Ah, the mystery has been revealed!
  14. Lori, who the heck is Will Wolfordother?
  15. Do you feel confident and secure?
  16. None, apparently.
  17. My uncle had his convocation yesterday and has received his PhD in child psychology. You da man, unc! Feel free to check out my latest blog entry to find out the details and see the photos from yesterday's ceremony.
  18. Have we met?
  19. Our 3rd annual TBD Offseason Tailgate will be next month, probably the 2nd or 3rd weekend. I'll have the details posted some time this week over in the Balt/Wash Area Events forum.
  20. That same show on the Food Network (Unwrapped) was on this afternoon and the name of the place is the Riverview Restaurant in Laughlin, Nevada. The burger is small compared to the 7 and 15lb ones, considering it's "only" 1.25lbs.
  21. I might have wanted to go before the meeting, had it not taken me until 5:30pm to get to town that day.
  22. I like: Killian's Red Yuengling Amstel Light Sam Adams (that Oktoberfest stuff is good; thanks Lori) Chimay and Hoegarden(thanks KRC) Berliner Kindl Schultheiss Icehouse (a good, cheap beer) Pilsner Urquell (a good, not so cheap beer) Rolling Rock (a guilty pleasure of sorts) Capital City Brewing Co's kolsch and amber brews Stroh's (another guilty pleasure; polished off many a 30 pack back in the day) for starters. and... I dislike: Pudweiser and its demon spawn (Pud Light, Pud Dry, Pud Reeks, etc.) Gobel Schaefer (man, does that stuff taste terrible) Milwaukee's Best (a college staple, but what did I know then?) I'm sure there's more, but that's a good start.
