And you want to take the country back to 1950s, where the preacher's fire and brimstone ran the town, with a commie on every corner, when McCarthy was boss, where black lives and women's rights didn't matter, long before Roe v Wade and before your mom's Mac and cheese was invented.

No Schiff!!! WTF is this crap?

  2. I need to make an important point here, and I suspect the real reason McConnel said there will be a floor vote on any nominee Trump puts forward.

The circus that was the Kavanaugh hearing are nothing compared to what is coming, and I think the American people need to see this. We tend to not pay much attention to politics until just before an election, so a lot of people have absolutely no idea just how bad the Kavanaugh hearings were.

With Gorsuch and Kavanaugh, I wondered why Trump didn't nominate Amy Barrett. I came to realize it was for this very moment. If not her, I totally expect it to be a woman and our disgust over how they will treat a woman for the court could mean a Republican landslide.

I think it's likely. Biden likely knew too -- and now he'll have to release his own list (which he's been reluctant to do because it'll cause problems in his fractured party between moderates and progressives). This will have a huge impact on the House and Senate races too as turnout should go way up in all those races. Swing state dems, as an example, have to be nervous as hell right now.

I think that, only if the election hinges on a replacement. But I really expect McConnell to vote on a Trump nomination perhaps even before the election. That Biden rule of no vote in an election year arguably only applies if opposite parties hold the Senate and Presidency.

So ... someone posts something on this board. I dunno, something libelous about someone else. Everyone seems to be calling everyone a pedo, for example.

Should this board -- not the poster, the board -- be subject to a libel suit?

So you don't think this board performs a useful function such that in the balance of interests it should be immune from lawsuit by allowing libelous posters free rein?

    https://reason.com/2020/09/16/new-fcc-nominee-has-already-been-helping-trump-try-to-censor-social-media/

(That's one example, but it's not as if the other side has been consistent on this issue either)

You're twisting in the wind here since that is not the intent at all. It should be the individual held responsible for their own actions and speech.

Although racism does exist today it is much better than ever before in the past but still needs a lot of work !!

Yes we do, however in a lot of aspects, it's backwards.

We have white only TV channels

    White only awards

    white only schools

    white only bars

    white only businesses

    white only communities

Oh wait, no we don't... But we do have black only all of the above. How can we ever possibly get beyond this if some continue to chose segregation?

Ok so I did this the other night and for the test asked for pizza near me and it went to Buffalo.  Tried it again now using a browser I  had not opened since I did this experiment on Thursday, but now it's defaulting back to my actual location.  I do recall the other night too about asking me to OK current location, today I didn't get that pop up asking me.

    So how do I reinitialize?

Or is the problem while I didn't use that browser since Thursday, I have used other ones, so that reset it?  And if so how do I un-reset it?

It's easy actually, but easy to forget to do. If you look at your geolocation before doing anything, you'll see it is there, but you can't click into it. That's okay though, just select another of the locations loaded, then click back to your created one. This activates it again... Hope you were still able to enjoy the game!

Like it or not, the 14 day quarantine is NYS law, so, Fair.

Unstated but a point is that pretty sure NY would like to see Erie and adjacent counties where most of the fans are from, drop to a positivity rate of 0.5% with no active cluster outbreaks to have fans at the game (this is a guess based on messing with the Georgia Tech Covid Probability tool).

Go to Miami, party up, come home with the Covid-19 and share, won’t help that goal.

Bull..... Remember when the lockdown was for two weeks, just to flatten the curve?

So I went through the steps you described, is there some way to test it out right now  to see if it's working.  I don't have CBS all Access, at least not right no, but just wondering if what I did will work for me?

Afraid I don' have a way to test it, but  i think CBS has a trial period, at least they did when i tried this for the first time last year. Just to double check... your longitude should be a negative number (a mistake I made once) Make sure you select your location. Click another one, then re-select it to make it work

Okay, there is a way to test it, but it worked in Edge for me but not in Chrome... Again, click another geo-location, then re-select the one you want. Then i did a search for Pizza near me. First it's going to use your cache (cookies) to locate you. But click change, and allow the computer to find your location, This should use the Geo-location you programmed...

I just came up with this

Can you do this for Sabres Games? MSG Network

Looks like MSG is based off your zip and provider. Problem with that is like my Sling account, it works off my billing address so changing Geo doesn't do anything regardless of the provider. I'm thinking of getting a PO Box though in town and opening a local bank account to try that...

If anyone else beats me to it, let me know.

Thanks Cigna!  That is along the lines of what my computer savvy buddy says needs to be done.

I got an old laptop that I want to set up (and thus keep) to these settings.

That way I don't need to keep toggling back and forth.

Your welcome... Just remember, even with the spare laptop, you will need to re-select your new location every time you open CBS All Access. It will help though not to build an unwanted cache similar to using another browser.
