Congratulations on your first NFL touchdown and boy what a celebration you made it being down 38-30 at the time and drawing the ensuing 15 yard penalty. Good post. You might have been around longer than me. I remember shouting "Bring in Marangi" when Joe was sucking one day, back in the Rockpile. Actually got a few other fans to start screaming it as well.
I think Shaw would have done well, but Marangi did suck after he relieved Ferguson in the 4th Quarter against the Jets, he threw back to back INT's.
Gary never played in the Rockpile. He came into league in 74. Must have been drunk.
