  1. RIP Cookie

My Pops always said Cookie was the best back the Bills ever had...OJ included.

Never saw him play so I guess ill take his word on it.

Now can we get him on the Wall of Fame????

Ole man wilson won't let him on. Give it up.

  2. You can't stop him without a solid shot. The longer the game goes, the more effective Cookie becomes." Holub, the 225-pound Kansas City linebacker, says: "If you hit him low, he works on you with his knees. If you hit him high, you get a stiff-arm. You have to hit him around the middle and clamp your arms around him or he'll tear your arms off. If he gets through a hole at the line of scrimmage, it's hell on the linebackers."

There is nobody who was that feared. Beast Mode is a child.

  3. True, Long Beach, CA is nicer than downtown Buffalo in late December - and, as a beach town, probably more active (at least near the ocean) - but what exactly was this knucklehead expecting on Monday nite, and right after X-mas??? I don't think he'd find too much going on in any city.

I'm sure he'll hear it from the fans when he takes the ice. (Looks like he already is, as he deleted the offending ' tweet ')

Those shipping ports are really things of beauty!

  4. I read Ralph's comment completely differently. I think he was doing the following:

    1. Applauding the Buffalo players for their intensity and consistent effort this season. Essentially, he was saying that this collection of "diamonds in the rough" has managed to turn heads largely because so many of the more heralded players over the years haven't worked out. I think the image of the Bills as a rag-tag bunch of no-names is beginning to catch on around the league, and Ralph was echoing that with pride.

    2. Applauding the coaching staff for doing more with less.

    3. Re-emphasizing the importance of being patient and staying the course in difficult times, especially with young players.

Also, I think the admission that the last 10 drafts have been bad was a stab at past regimes (Donahoe's, in particular) and perhaps even an admission that he allowed non-football guys (like himself, Marv, Jauron and Brandon) to have too much say in the post-Donahoe years.

Point # 3 is right on about Ralph, he's been saying that forever! That's his favorite excuse.
