I just finished Season 1 of Counterpart on Starz. It's extremely good. J. K. Simmons is an extremely good actor. The first episode was slow but methodical. After you get the premise of the show, it flys by and keeps you entertained. Season 2 started in December and I'm on my way to catching up.
Starz has stepped up it's game with their in house productions. The wife enjoys Outlander and enjoys Counterpart too.

Hmm, it looks as if my original assumption that this article was suspect from the beginning was right.
It's time for all citizens to actually do some critical thinking on their own! Now I buy some beer for all of you in PPP who have been telling this to me from the beginning.

The first part, Trump's directive doesn't reconcile with the second party Cohen's acknowledgement. It's a very interesting use of the English language. To first state that the directive came from an ORGANIZATION then state that Cohen acknowledged with "that office" jumped out at me. Maybe it's just p!$$ poor writing out it's an attempt to come two separate things together without lying.
Again, IF TRUE, he's in for some issues ahead. That said I can guarantee that Trump is not stupid enough to put these kinds of things in emails. (And I don't like the guy!)

Wow, you start your counter argument from such a perilous perch. Since everything is consolidated, media gets a pass on mass producing "news." Think about that for a minute. I mean it. Let that sink in a little. Minus independent writers you're getting, what, a maximum of 6 stories. 6! Worst is that they are mostly the same.
Speaking of consolidation/globalization (for this argument it's the same) why would a company who has business all over the globe dislike Trump? Sure US business is doing well, but what about the companies profits abroad? They should make more money abroad by taking advantage of those regions. However Trump has installed tariffs on these products and this cuts into their profits. When you look at someone like 44, you saw globalization at its finest. Open trade everywhere and the complete bastardization on the American worker. Now 45 is curtailing oversea profits by promoting his "America First" agenda.
I think I'd understand why they want him out. And that's not even factoring in a shadow government angle, which would shine an entirely different light (no pun intended) on this.

There are clips and there is context. If the clip is taken with context in mind, okay. If clips are used without provided context to got a theory, you've got a problem.

Yes, supposedly Mockingbird stopped in the 70's. If things happened before, it is undoubtedly happening again. Remember, our government doesn't listen in on American's conversations, it's illegal. Except we found out that, nope they're doing it anyway.
There are too many coincidences that point to collusion between media players. Independent thinkers don't come up with extremely similar answers. Our independent thinking is based on our life experiences.

I get it and understand it. Again, why would McConnell put the political crosshairs on himself by claiming he won't bring the bill to vote? That just begs for him to be blamed.
Also wouldn't this vote be about refunding government workers without funding the wall? I think McConnell is afraid of 10 yesses on that.

Yes, disingenuous for sure. I know how the Senate works. That doesn't automatically mean that it's the D's fault. Again, I'm aware that's it's political posturing. I just can't fathom why McConnell would put himself in the political crosshairs like he did.

Interesting. That's not what I've heard. I believe it was Mitch who said, “The Senate will not waste its time considering a Democratic bill which cannot pass this chamber and which the president will not sign.”
So how does that make it the Dems who vote on it? Republicans have the majority in the Senate the last I looked. This is all political posturing. Tom said it best up thread, both sides deserve blame.

If you are on shutdown, call your local House Rep and Senator and ask them to vote for wall funding. The sooner that thin slice of government money is set aside for border security, the sooner the government can reopen. And while you are at it, ask your House Rep to work on a budget and not just stopgap funding - so federal employees will not be used as leverage again in a few weeks or months when the stopgap spending bill again runs out.I'm not a government worker. I just hate seeing politics utilize these people as leverage (not of their own doing).
I can get a union striking out a company locking out, because that's the nature of organized labor. However these people have no skin in the political game and are being used like they don't matter.

If you're gonna try and criticize someone's look at the rules, at least be right. Holding (illegal contact) can only happen before the ball is thrown. The holding off the arm in the end zone is PI by definition.
I agree that it's an ok non call. I wouldn't have called it either. Mostly well officiated game, some misses and a truly terrible holding call on the O line that stalled a good Rams drive.
