  1. You can criticize me. You can't refute what I've posted in this thread. And the band played on.
  2. Should they have fired 7 bullets into his back is the question. My understanding of how these situations are supposed to be handled is that you shoot to kill when there are no other options. A couple of smacks with a baton would have ended it. Then again, he is black. If this were the only time a situation like this had played out, I would want to know more. When it's a regular occurrence, there is something systemically wrong. Before cellphone videos, I used to think like you. Cellphone videos have confirmed what we have been hearing from black people about employees of the government. They often lie about how these situations play out. How many times do you have to watch a video of a black person being killed by a cop before you see there is a real issue? That you believe the cop was in fear for his life when he shot someone in the BACK 7 TIMES is truly astounding.
  3. His SATs proved that.
  4. Remember the tests that say "Which of these does not belong?"
  5. "The press needs to shut up". Ain't democracy great? Did Trump get the idea from this guy?
  6. Reading that link of yours to Breitbart tells you all you need to know about Breitbart. Coronavirus is an “info-demic,” a panic caused by the spread of partial and often misleading information about a health risk, sometimes deliberately. The virus is real, and a small number of people have been infected. But it is going to pass. It is an unpleasant respiratory illness, but it is not an organ-destroying horror like Ebola. Precautions are being taken, a vaccine will emerge, and life will continue as usual. Here are five specific reasons to chill out. 1. Coronavirus is a familiar illness, and not as bad as others. It is from the SARS family — and less deadly. As Ha’aretz noted, “the mortality rate from the current disease ranges from 0.5 to 2 percent, and is significantly lower than the mortality rate from the 2002 SARS outbreak (9.5 percent) and much lower than the 2012 SARS outbreak (34.4 percent). It may even be close to the mortality rate from an ordinary flu outbreak in the United States.” 2. The U.S. response has been exceptionally good. There have only been 16 cases thus far, none deadly. President Donald Trump bought precious time by stopping travel to China last month — a step critics said was overly drastic. Democrats are screaming about funding and staff cuts that never actually happened. The latest outrage: the White House is controlling the message. As they should! The people in lab coats are not always good communicators. 3. We are going to have a vaccine soon. There are private companies in the U.S. and around the world racing to develop a vaccine — not just because of the urgent public health need, but because whoever finds it first stands to make a lot of money. (This is where the profit motive, and the pharmaceutical industry, are so crucial — contrary to what Bernie Sanders, Amy Klobuchar, and other Democrats running for president have been saying about them.) 4. China is going to be all right. The number of cases in China sounds large — until you consider the size of China. True, the Chinese government has been duplicitous about coronavirus, as it is about everything. (Amartya Sen famously observed that India, unlike China, has never suffered famine because India has a free press.) And U.S. firms are learning a long-overdue lesson about the risks of investing there. But China will eventually pull through. 5. The same people who want you to panic about coronavirus want you to panic about everything. The news business thrives on chaos. In addition, the media want to destroy Trump, which is why they spread the Russia collusion hoax. Coronavirus is not a hoax, but pundits should be asked if they cared enough about flu — which kills far more people — to get their shot this year. If not, ignore them. Remember to wash your hands, and stay cool. 61,000 you say.
  7. Great job, Donnie.
  8. Trump seems in direct opposition to Jobs. Is it a few weeks, yet?
  9. yeah It will be ready, tomorrow and then the day after that. Funny
  10. Repeat it again. Didn't know that.
  11. Funny. Love when there are trails. No big deal.
  12. I have no idea what's in his hand, but more importantly, the justification given by police as to why he was shot was that he was reaching for a knife in the car. Explain this logic, please.
  13. Ladies and Gentlemen. The President of the United States. A cop shooting a black man 7 times in the back is like missing a 3-foot putt.
  14. Where did you see that he had a knife in his hand?
  15. It's different if you're white. I wonder why?
  16. For the 20th or so time. Should a cop be allowed to put 7 bullets in the back of someone other than in a case where that person poses a threat where he is pointing a loaded gun at people? If you think yes, then you really don't even understand the concept of self-defense and you should have no complaints living under a police state. How pathetic is that?
  17. Tell me why he REALLY got shot 7 times in the back? Why wasn't he tackled by the cops? Tased? Even shot just once, which would still be illegal? Why 7 times? You know that there is no legit answer, yet you don't care, because this isn't about justice, to you.
  18. Love when Trump supporters admit that the government should be allowed to execute people. Bring on the dictatorship. Won't it be fun? Republicans used to the say the opposite. It's good that the truth is coming from the lips of those folks. Bad for the country, though. But who cares? Trump was accused multiple times. Should he be handcuffed? Or should black people live under a different set of laws than orange people?
  19. Someone accused of sexual abuse deserves a bullet to the groin? President Trump will not be happy with your opinion. Are you so stupid that you don't understand the connection? Do you believe that only some of the accused deserve it? Bet you trhink you're a law and order guy, right? People like you deserve to get what you think is justice. So, if you took 7 in the back and the cop said he felt in danger before doing it, you'd agree? Sure you would. Didn't think you could. The mentally weak never can.
  20. Remember all those great Westerns where the hero put 7 in the back of the bad guy? It's refreshing that a Trump supporter would admit that it's okay for a member of the government to execute a citizen. All while decrying the government's intrusion ino the personal lives of citizens. When I was younger, I wondered how people accepted dictatorships so readily. Trump supporters have shown how it works. Declare a man above the law and follow him into your own self-destruction.
  21. The definitive guide on how to set up an autocracy.
  22. Wow! There you have it. Police should be allowed to pump 7 in a man's back if they claim fear. And you can't figure out why blacks in America are rioting. If blacks were in charge and white men were being executed you would have the same opinion? You are so full of sheet. The alternative is far less flattering.
  23. Still preaching stupid I see. Should people accused of sexual assault be shot?
