  1. Cool... I'm glad we won't be dictating "what and won't you will do"... It's cool though, that's why they play the game. Good luck I still opine that it was circumstance. It wasn't like they abandoned the run because they COULDN'T run.. they were having fairly moderate success doing it. They were just in a situation where they had to pass.
  2. He reminds me of Fred Taylor without the home run attribute.
  3. let the record show I don't agree with Raider Joe on much of what he says lol...
  4. They are not garbage at all... Moorman is a great punter. Lindell is a solid kicker. I don't even wear the ST badge on my sleeve. I just don't think the RB comparison is arguable at all... DMAC is arguably the most complete back in football. I think he IS. Bush is a beast and would be starting on another squad. As far as Seymour being better than Williams at his point in his career, I'd say he definitely is. Seymour still consistently draws double teams, splits them, he can bull rush and stuff the run. He is a rare 5 Technique. they don't just play him inside.. they slide him along the line where he can dominate a matchup based on the circumstance. What you can do with Seymour, you cannot do with Williams. update: Seymour practicing...Boss playing Sunday.... DHB, DMAC, Huff going through drills. Ford most likely out
  5. I guarantee you we won't be behind two scores (or more) in the first 8 minutes of this game. Chiefs can "game plan" all they want.. Fact is, Charlie Weis isn't making those game plans anymore. lol
  6. Second team means nothing.... Kyle Williams had one more vote than Seymour. To even nail this point home more.. Antrel Rolle Eric Weddle Malcolm Jenkins Quintin Mikell Chris Harris Michael Huff Michael Griffin Darren Sharper were all tied with ONE VOTE and named to second team All-Pro When it's a unanimous first team vote or a large margin....then it's pretty significant.
  7. Ok, look.....this is ridiculous... Fitzpatrick looked very good last week. And he had a great run last season. But to say he is a "whole lot better than Kyle Orton"... what are you basing this on?? Look at their numbers head to head... they are nearly identical. In fact, Orton was the more efficient QB. So I don't get where this "much better" nonsense comes from. Was he much better last week? Yes...
  8. You mean all four players??? LOL EDIT: Sorry, three players...one of them didn't even play vs the Bills (Baldwin) as he was injured in camp... BULLIES!!
  9. No, I'm basing the fact on Richard Seymour is just BETTER...lol And your reading comprehension is not very good... I used the Pro Bowl as a reference on how Seymour didn't play because he has been there many times...it's nothing special to him. And it was a counter because the OP I quoted pointed out him missing the Pro Bowl. Never did I mention the Pro Bowl as an indicator of how good he is, however, All Pro nominations DO and he has 3 of those. And Kyle Williams has none. So yea, whatever. Ok, but Kyle Williams has never been All-Pro
  10. Not selling Kyle Williams short at all... He was a good DT before the Pro Bowl nomination. But let's just be honest. He is no Richard Seymour. Just look at Seymours body of work. We can prognosticate about Seymours tank all we want. But as of right now...as of last season Seymour was still a dominant DT. And last week... he dominated the Broncos. So until he shows that he can't play at a high level, he shouldn't be addressed in that regard. Tommy Kelly you will get very familiar with Tommy Kelly on Sunday....
  11. Yea, Kyle Williams is a "spritely" 28..only took 5 years to have a career year. And yet, he was still a first alternate. Don't make stuff up as you go because it's convenient. A lot of players who are voted into the Pro Bowl choose not to play. It isn't because they CAN'T go. Seymour, being there 6 times, and 3 times All Pro...already knows the rodeo. Nothing new to him. Kyle Williams on the other hand...... Let's see if you feel the same way when your interior OL gets dominated by "the old and aging beat up guy"
  12. Hey, that's fine by me... ESPN also picked the Broncos in a sweep vs the Raiders...
  13. Yea we had some injuries.... you should see the Broncos injury report after that game though....
  14. No, CLEARLY @ RB at K and P DL OL arguably... and the same applies here..!! Chiefs are NOT a good team. And Seymour is better than Kyle Williams.......
  15. I think this is a very tough game for the Raiders.. And I still think we lose by a slight margin. I don't really liken myself to trolling rival boards (except the AFC WEST ones). I contest a few viewpoints because I just think it's unfathomable how someone can think this would be a cakewalk. But I look forward to a great game.
  16. We really had no receiving threats last year.... did that stop McFadden? Do you think the Broncos game planned around Darrius Heyward-Bey? Or Chaz Schilens? No, they didn't because they game planned around Darren McFadden and he still burned them for 150. So what makes you think the Bills would do any different? Bush is of no real concern? I guess you didn't see him rip 3 straight runs of at least 8 yards in the 4th quarter to seal that Bronco game shut. Make no mistake, in a close game where McFadden has worn a defense down... NOBODY wants any business tackling Bush in the 4th quarter. I guess his 8 TD's in a backup role would be of no concern as well? Hopefully, the Bills will be able to hold the Raiders out of any goal line situation. Bush will be a problem. Actually, if I was a Bills fan, I would welcome it. See if the Darreus hype is warranted. We can play "this team vs that team" and compare matchups and prognosticate all we want. One thing that is for sure... Darren McFadden is the best player on that field, for both teams, come Sunday. Period.
  17. We won't do it like the Chiefs did... We are going to run it.
  18. A "scoreboard mentality" is a great way to fool yourself though.... Sure, the game is about who scores the most points. But a 20-0 hole goes a long way to change the complexion of a game. ESPECIALLY if the game plan was to pound the rock. There is no denying that.
  19. Skew it any way you like... I see you are very efficient at deluding yourself rather progressively. They gave up runs of 23 yards, 22 yards, 15 yards and 12 yards. In a game where they were down 20 points in the first 23 minutes and they still allowed over 100 yards rushing...That is not "good" run defense In addition, check this out...In that game, on KC's first three drives the FIRST play in those drives were a pass... they didn't run Charles on 1st down until the 4th drive and THAT was the 22yd run... Unfortunately, they were already down by 14. So your "using 1st and 2nd down to prevent you from going into passing situations" logic fails you. In the sense that you want to believe that a stout run put Cassel into that situation but the proof is in black and white that it was clearly a play calling downfall. Not matter how you paint it.. 10 carries for 56 yards is not struggling to run the ball.
  20. Agreed, I think the key is how the Bills perform along the OL. And on the other side of the token how the Raiders DL performs. The key to victory is who controls the LOS. If the Raiders can get to Fitz with the front 4 I like their chances of the game falling in their favor. If they don't show up to play it's going to be a long day for them. In the Raiders losses last year, they went up against teams that went punch for punch with that DL. The Steelers game comes to mind (regretfully). They abused us. Umm, the Titans opener... The OL stoned our DL.
  21. there is a difference between scoring 20 points in the whole game as opposed to scoring 20 in the first 17 minutes....My God...
  22. Chandler looks like he is can be a very fine TE, great hands.

Tackled by Jairus Byrd. 11:43 4th KC 1st & 10 at KC16 Jamaal Charles rush to the right for 5 yards to the KC21. Tackled by Danny Batten. 10:37 4th KC 1st & 10 at KC31 Jamaal Charles rush up the middle for a loss of 1 yard to the KC30. Tackled by Danny Batten. Ok, let's look at this... 10 carries for 56 yards... 50 of them were in the first half.. before halftime even started the Chiefs abandoned the running game..He had only one run for negative yards. Broke two long runs. Was stopped for no gain on the other. Again, he carried the ball TWICE in the second half... By the 4th it was garbage time. You are seriously going to sit here and tell me that constitutes "struggling to run the ball"???
