I have been flowing Buffalo since the 1966 AFL championship and these are tough tough losses
Me too. The tough losses separate the wheat from the chaff. Hang in there.

Board is filled with opinions. Factual threads are needed from time to time. This thread is far from factual. The only fact is the first post.

I do have issues with the Offensive play calling, but letting Cousins cut us up shows the first need in a coaching change. What's gonna happen next week ....let Jacoby Brissett throw for 300?...and get embarrassed by the Browns? Maybe we can blame Dorsey and Allen, but Frazier has been here the whole time and you could give him Moses, Peter, Paul and John and he would let a piss poor QB throw for 300 plus.
They should have never scored 33. This is the NFL and always changing.....to beat us. Seems like we never get the memo.
When Edmunds went down D was missing six starters: Hyde, Poyer, White, Edmunds, Groot and Elam. Put any four of them in and it is a different game. I hate the negativity.

Coaching staff is great. They didn't have a good day today in a couple of spots.

This board is unbelievable. I understand disappointment. But three weeks ago, all were ready to crown Josh. He made some bad throws against the Pack in the 2nd half and now he is pressing. You can see it in his face, body language and decision-making. But he will sort it out. Needs to start having fun and let the game come to him. He will. Everybody need to chill.

Where has Shakir been since? Imo he needs to take over the slot or at least be more involved, but the coaches are hiding him for some reason.
Love Shakir, but Sunday was not McKenzie's fault, IMHO. Knox, McKenzie & Cook open short A LOT, Josh insisted on looking long. He will get that fixed.

We going to be all good!! Super Bowl? Who knows, but we are winning the division and will host a playoff game or two. Anything can happen from there.

Oddly, not the least bit worried about those games.
1. Miami - quirky game with the heat and injuries. Bills going conservative on 3rd and 22 and Miami thus completing their one deep pass to Waddle. Balls slips from Josh's hands with McKenzie open. We outplayed them significantly and won't give them air in Buffalo like we did in Miami.
2. Jets - Josh really did us in by trying to force the ball down the field when he had options short. Kubiak's analysis in the news hits this perfectly. Josh will adjust, he was just being pigheaded and it cost him and us.
So long as our boy Josh is healthy, very, very confident in these two at home.

There is no window. I am sure every NFL GM/Coach combination feels the same way, but Beane and McDermott seem uniquely able to build, develop and structure players and contracts so that we can remain competitive all the time. I believe they would have found a way to be in the hunt even if we missed on Josh. But we didn't miss on Josh, they hit it out of the park. For a decade, sky is the limit. If Beane and McDermott still want to be doing this long in the future, I have every confidence they will identify and obtain a quarterback that will put us right back in the hunt. Though I doubt we will ever see another one quite like Josh in my lifetime.

Love the young man's attitude. His press conference is inserted in the thread a couple pages back and it was perfect in my opinion!

Screw the Jets.

Hines is only 25 too.

Does not really mean anything for Motor and Cook other than more competition. Hines has no guaranteed money after this year. Bills can keep one, two or all three of them, whichever they like and can afford. For example, I can see them restructuring Hines, give him some guaranteed money and signing Motor too. Cook will still be pretty cheap. They have lots of options. So I love this, even if Hines proves to be only a rental, a 5th/6th is not too high a price. Moss is no give at all.

Sad to her. Does he have children? Mafia time? RIP.

We’ll-stated, Chan! And in my personal gallery of Dolphin hatred, I would single out Jimmy Cefalo, that whining, cheating, cheap-shotting little b****. I don’t care if he’s been retired 40 years or whatever; Dolphin stank don’t wash off that easy. Mark Duper and Clayton are close seconds, even more than Brian Cox. Come to think of it, Miami’s had a veritable parade of dislikable WRs, most recently T. Hill and J. Landry. I’ll give Paul Warfield a pass, but that’s it …
I love this post and the one it replies to. Hilarious! Love that Bills fans have long memories. And at least some are as old as I am - Jimmy Cefalo 🙂
I continue to be impressed by the depth and validity of our production in this thread. But Eli? That one surprised me.

The Dancing Bear. Bear for obvious reasons. Dancing because he can really move for 3-fitty.

I agree with the OP 100%. I started a thread "Tremaine Must Remain" - and it got a lot of love and a lot of flames. Lots of knowledgable fans on both sides. I respect the "he's JAG" posters, but I will never understand them. I see what Tremaine does and I know the game well enough to know that I am not imagining things. On the other hand, I also see some of the things the haters post about. Personally, I sure hope we re-sign him and I would make it an absolute top priority. It is almost like Tremaine is not one player, it is "Edmunds and Milano" considered together. They operate as a unit. Together they are unique in taking away the middle of the field in what has become a passing-dominated game.

Was on the field in Cincinnati before a Bengals/Bills game. Ball came bouncing up to me. I picked it up and someone said, "Here you go" - I look up and Flutie was waiting for me to throw it back to him. Which I did. Big thrill for me that I'll never forget. So could be something like that that makes it worth it to you.
Cool story!

Have to say, this thread is an impressive ball of hate. Not many listed I don't agree with.

I would love to have him, but we are pretty tight against the cap. I like the idea of Epenesa or Boogie plus a third or fourth if Beane thinks he has space and wants him. But my instinct . . . stand pat. I would rather have him than OBJ, no one can stop our offense now. Develop Shakir and Hodgins is the play IMHO.

Have a great time! It will be memorable. You can park close pretty cheap ($30), it is Buffalo. When they opened Joe Robbie in Miami years ago, I was standing behind Ralph Wilson waiting for tickets at Will Call. His comment: "Can you believe what they get for parking? They would skin me alive in Buffalo if I tried that." Great game, Bills won.

I hope he is not gone for a few years yet. Plenty of tread left. I do understand: It is all a question of $$, you can't sign everybody, no second contracts for RBs etc etc. For me, that just goes to price. Within what Beane might be willing to pay, I hope he can get it done because Motor is a glue guy, a gamer, he does the dirty work, he moves the chains, and he is a great teammate. He is part of what makes these Bills. Keep him and Cook together and we could have a very nice backside combination, and maybe we can even stop drafting running backs for a couple years.
