Any quarterback in the Christmas wish-list this year?

I'm thinking - realistically here - that maybe Kirk Cousins or Blake Bortles might be the answer for the Bills and they'd probably fit in good with out system we're building.

    Thoughts?

Blake Bortles? wow..........and I mean Cousins? Nah I'm not sold on either guy. I'm still not sure about Cousins either, I mean he's always had A LOT of talent around him and great offensive minded coaches. Still comes up short when it matters. I don't think it would be too smart to spend $30mil/yr for a guy who's inconsistent. Unless we're just paying for a guy who can pass for 300yds a game.

LOL at this thread.  All the Peterman backers pointing to the OL being the problem and not giving him a chance but fail to recognize TT playing with the same OL was putting up historically low turnover #s.

Someone even posted that throwing for 300 yards and a 1:1 TD INT ratio was better than throwing for < 200yds and a 4:1 ratio as if:

    A) that makes any logical sense???

    B) Peterman was capable of throwing for 300 yds and a 1/1 ratio???

    C) Ignoring that in 2017 only 1 QB in the league is averaging more than 300 yds a game (Tom Brady) and only 12 QBs are averaging > 250yds a game

    D) Ignoring that players who have averaged > 240yds and a 1:1 TD/INT ratio this season include Kirk Cousins (4-6), Philip Rivers (4-6), Jameis WInston (4-6), Derek Carr (4-6)

Yeah I really hate the 300yd thing. It means absolutely nothing to me. Good point, about the league average in yards pretty much being around 250yds per game.

Well, we only have to rebuild the offensive and defensive lines, the linebacking corps, much of the backfield, and possibly the wide outs.  Remember when the Cavaliers, pre-Lebron, were so terrible the NBA gave them extra draft picks out of pity?  Please petition Mr. Goodel and friends.

Yeah I'm down for that, we should get Mercy picks lmao

Seantrel injury just happened at end of last week. Cordy is same foot/ankle he’s had forever. Since he’s not on IR yet have to assume they except him back. At least we can hope.

Oh ok gotcha, wow I thought he's been out for a few weeks. Thank you!

I coulda swore I saw 66 in on a play or two yesterday, as an extra blocker on the left side.

I probably missed that, I had to turn the game off a little after half

  5. People have to stop thinking that they know more than the actual coaches front office. I think what happens in Buffalo is that we tend to cling to individual players heavily because that's all we've been able to be proud of....individual accomplishments. As far as I'm concerned, this is what SHOULD happen when a new coach takes over. I mean just think about it, were any of the players that the Bills traded or released the missing link to getting to the playoffs?? Probably not. Kyle is fine, he's a captain so I wouldn't look into it.

  6. I was listening to Jerel Worthy on The Bills Defender Show (aka John Murphy). He said, music is now played throughout practice. Not a fan. That's not how you teach discipline.

It's not a big deal and it has nothing to do with discipline at all. Music actually helps when doing repetitive workouts or practice. Rex didn't use music and he was the worst disciplinarian to ever coach the Bills.
