I wouldn’t say they’re soft but we play too much finesse football. It’s been our Achilles heel the last 3 years on offense. We don’t establish a run game because that’s not the way they want to play. It’s pretty arrogant to say the least..but it’s really coming back to bite us in the ass. We are still boom or bust with Allen at QB. Josh has a bad game, the bills almost never win. Just once I would like to see us not be so Josh Allen dependent. Find other ways to win games

I agree with all of this. Spot on my friend!

A.J. Klein signed a 3 year, $18,000,000 contract with the Buffalo Bills, including a $1,200,000 signing bonus, $11,300,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $6,000,000.

AJ is a huge asset. Love having him. He's made such a huge leap from when he first got here.

I believe this Sunday is our judgement day vs the Jets.  A challenge has to be thrown down against the Bills and its coaching staff to correctly review and resolve the events of this last loss.

You are either contenders or pretenders in this league.  If Buffalo's offense & OL shows up with the same lack intensity and focus, or bad game planning we saw yesterday then this is a foregone conclusion that we just don't have what it takes to contend for a AFC title this year with our current roster and OC, especially on the offense line and in the backfield.

I used to have a lot of faith that this teams coaches and locker room could get it done.   Not so much anymore.  It is really time suck it up and step up and show what you are made of.

With 9 games to go you either decide to be the team you should be, or you keep on pretending that your current level of play is acceptable moving forward, when it clearly isn't.

And this squarely falls on McD and Daboll right now.

The atonement bell has been rung Buffalo, what team is going to answer this bell.   This is what I will be watching for this coming Sunday.

I'm not sure this is the Bills "Judgement Day". There needs to be some perspective on this whole debacle. Buffalo simply didn't take their opponent seriously. There's no other way to put it. The players didn't and the coaches didn't. Yesterday there were a number of really good teams that were upset. It's that time of the year. Now with all of that being said, there were problems on every level within the offense yesterday. There were zero adjustments made by the coaching staff, even coming out of halftime. That's very concerning. I think it's time Buffalo starts looking into bringing up Antonio Williams from the PR Squad. Also activating Matt Breida for a game to see if there can be any type of spark in the run game. Especially if Moss is unable to play in week 9 against the Jets. The Bills will never be able to be effective against the cover 2 defense which gives them so many problems if they can't pose any kind of threat in the run game. They'll continue to stay one dimensional. They're running into the same exact problem that Kansas City has been dealing with this season. The only difference is that Josh Allen has been running a lot better and protecting the ball a lot better. Oh yeah and he has the top ranked defense on his side. Teams don't usually like to give up on high draft picks early because it comes off as an admittance of failure but the Moss and Singletary combination just isn't working.

  4. I think we lost in huge part because of the way Brian Dabol called the game. I mean they were constantly running 4 and 5 WR sets. It was the worst game plan that I think he's ever had for a game. They had all offseason to work on the run game and they haven't accomplished a thing. The offensive line couldn't stop a nosebleed yesterday. Also the DL created pretty much zero  pass rush against a brand new OL who had 2 rookies starting.

While the D as a whole played great he was lights out I thought.  He was getting his nose dirty like I havent seen from him before.  Coming down into the gaps and sticking guys like Ingram and Edward's is NOT easy.  He also did a great job getting contain on lamar a few times.

The light is really on for this guy right now.

I agree with you that he played great. Fact of the matter is that he's gets his nose dirty every week. He's going to be a stud for sure.

Why you ask?  Because since deadline we have a new team basically.  It's almost like all positions are improving....

-Milano and Edmund's have looked much better last few weeks.

    - Kevin johnson > Levi

    -Taron johnson back into form

-Defensive line has started to gel.  Figuring out the run D.   Getting some sacks...even star playing decent.

    - On offense both brown and beasley are now catching TDs more regularly.

    - OLINE has finally come together and are mauling people

    - Josh looks great

    - Singletary starting to break out.

Funny enough by doing nothing we are really starting to gel as a team...and looking better week by week.

I do appreciate your enthusiasm but I don't think that we won by not doing anything. We've been lucky that the injury bug hasn't bit us too hard but another receiver at the trade deadline would've been great. However, i'm glad they didn't go and overspend for one which is probably what it would've taken to get a decent/difference maker receiver.

If Buffalo wants to make a late-season run, Brandt believes Allen shouldn't hold back on scrambling.

I WHOLE HEARTEDLY agree with this one. It's mind baffling to me how his running has not been emphasized more. When Josh Allen runs the Bills passing offense opens right up.
