  1. it doesn’t though…no offense but anyone on Twitter can spout off numbers, stats and idea. There is next to no actual fact checking (thanks Elon WTF)…this isn’t a right vs left issue. these political “experts” on Twitter realized the money behind grifting for both sides and feed into that machine that clearly a lot of people love to be part of. its bizarre (and lazy) to just parrot other peoples opinions without firsthand experience or actual knowledge of the topic.
  2. Not at all, this is a truly bizarre social interaction in here. It’s fascinating seeing all the plebs argue over crumbs lol.
  3. The last 14 posts were all made by the same poster and not a single one provided any type of context or critical thinking. Literally 14 reposts from Twitter… This is why education in this country is terrible, everything is soundbites and clips. I know this is an echo chamber but this is truly sad.
  4. what was the joke though? Like jokes are supposed to be funny? You’re implying she’s trans and then called her a tranny…did I miss the punchline? Same with Dave…being mean isn’t funny, it’s lazy…
  5. I choose to not engage in that level of politics, thus why I try my best to ignore. Engaging on a local/state level is much more rewarding, it’s just sad seeing so many people here seem to thrive off that level of hatred/vitriol/propaganda from both sides. People need to go touch grass and talk to their neighbors.
  6. it’s just dumb seeing all the mud slinging and reposts here…nothing is put into context intelligently by anyone. It’s all “omg look at this insanity” then a repost from Twitter with no context, created by a partisan account. its shocking how little people here are connected to the policy issues and would rather engage in the WWE-style identity politics. Seems quite childish for everyone involved.
  7. I was just trying to explain why it’s a stupid argument for Walz or Vance to make about each other, bickering over identity politics is trash bag status. and yet people like you buy into it and spread the tribalism. Cut the bull#### and focus on the policy, ignore the rage-baiting from both sides. unless you just view this all as entertainment, then go ahead and continue your stan account.
  8. kind of in a similar boat being an independent and to be honest the only thing stopping me from voting for Trump is the social issues. I just can’t get behind the white Christian nationalism, it’s a complete turn off.
  9. agreed but until the southern religious groups cool it with the anti-gay BS I won’t believe them that gay marriage is safe. I just don’t understand why Trump is in bed with these orgs besides money? He was ALWAYS one to champion pro-choice rights and gay rights prior to running for president. He’s not a religious person or even someone who cares about religion, no one can say otherwise without being facetious. and I agree, I’d move to if someone said I couldn’t marry who I wanted. But lots of people in severe poverty don’t have that option, they just get stuck living with the laws their state has put in place.
  10. im just saying man, dont make one party out to be the bad guys and then use a slur in the same moment. It just makes you look uneducated.
  11. if republicans are a cartoon then you’re an even bigger joke for using the word tranny. Dude it’s 2024…
  12. that’s awesome! I’m glad your faith is really progressive and accepting of gay marriage. Obama is such a piece of trash for that comment, as is every President we’ve ever had when it comes to gay rights. Reagan let an entire generation die for ***** sake. I highly doubt this topic is truly important to you, but if it is I can give you some great examples of southern states attempting to roll back marriage protections. Kim Davis lol… glad to see you’re a religious ally to gay marriage, those are rare.
  13. I don’t think he’s being mocked for going to Yale, it’s being used a political device to try and show JD isn’t one of the “good old Midwest boys” and more of an elite. It’s a dumb and stupid argument. Just like mocking someone for going to a small college, also dumb. Just use context next time instead of cheerleading on your teams sideline. Both teams suck.
  14. i couldn’t agree with you more, but have you not seen the vitriol that religious leaders have for gay marriage? Trump will turn the decision to the states (which is within his rights as President)…I can def see a good portion of the southern U.S. banning it. I mean there’s still laws against butt stuff in South Carolina, Texas, Georgia, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
  15. That kids (man?) mustache is probably the greatest thing I’ve ever seen. This needs to be in the Louvre.
  16. you can say no one cares about it, and I agree, most don’t. But there’s evangelical organizations that fund political campaigns with a heck of a lot more money than you or I do. trump will absolutely return the rights to the states, as the SC did abortion. living in NY I’m in no fear, but I do fear quite a bit for those folks in states where religion is so deeply integrated into politics that there’s no way they won’t attempt to reverse it. I’ve said it a million times…but when did the GOP get so damn infested and funded by religious nuts…separate that trash from your platform and they’d win every election. Let the Jesus freaks create their own third party.
  17. Are including band t shirts here lol? At least some celebs (depending on the industry) provide some type of art whether it’s music/movies/TV. politicians provide me nothing.
  18. sorry I don’t use Twitter…you talking about the guy who posted it on Twitter? Like is that a man-boy, I can’t tell if he’s 37 or 13. this is like a Rembrandt, I can’t stop looking.
  19. accurate…that’s why it’s so weird to see people make politics and politicians their personalities. like if you’re wearing anything with a politicians name or slogan on it (any party) then you’re ***** weird. these people aren’t our friends.
  20. Honest question…what is happening in this picture? This is photoshopped right? Right?!
  21. as the token homosexual here…I don’t truly believe Trump gives a ***** about gay rights. however, his rich ultra-religious donors/PACs would love to see gay rights removed. the GOP will absolutely overturn gay marriage and return it to the states, again creating a group of second class citizens in the southern states. AL, MS, TN, AR, etc would move quickly to ban gay marriage. the landslide Trump would have if he told the religious nut bars to ***** off would be insane. but those Jesus dollars are too strong ha. people are making fun of special needs children? ***** ghouls man…
  22. Religion is a ***** plague…to be honest, if Trump didn’t feel the need to capitulate to the religious nuts (all GOP candidates have to) he’d actually be an attractive candidate to me. He can keep his foreign policy, border, and economic policies…but cut the social issue bull#### that the religious whackos make part of his agenda. dude has probably never seen a church service in his life but the evangelicals have such a big voice (and $$$s) that he needs them to win. Ugh, religion sucks.
  23. I thought the slurring was because his dentures weren’t in right or he recently had dental work? Being around stroke victims regularly it didn’t give off that type of impairment.
  24. im probably going to feel dumb for asking this…but there’s a news site called Catturd? God bless lol
  25. Not that I won’t touch it, I just don’t think there’s a strong correlation between reassignment surgery and suicide as much as there’s a stronger correlation around suicide and people who identify as trans in general. I can’t fathom being a teenager and going through gender dysmorphia in today’s culture…your struggle is people politicized and in some areas demonized. It has to be absolutely devastating to a teenager. So you’re implying all people who don’t want children suffer some type of mental illness? That’s your opinion to have, but just want to make sure I’m understanding.
