Jerry Jones has been pissed for years ever since he lost to Ralph in the revenue sharing negotiations and Ralph started taking home some of Jerry's money. He doesn't care about the history of the game, he wants teams in L.A. to make more money (and keep more of his) Now that it looks like this is wrapping up the NFL will continue to push for a new stadium which would be nice but also could be unnecessary (Do they need a new stadium? Serious question?) besides the sole purpose of making more money.

conspiracy theories abound but watching that fumble and how it was overturned was awfully suspicious is all I'm saying. Alot of things seemed to line up that year for the Patriots. I don't believe the NFL manipulates the game to decide outcomes but if they did that would certainly have been a good time with all that was going on.I know people kid about this stuff but do you really believe this?

No way the NFL could have a team called the Raiders winning the superbowl post 9/11. Patriots had to win, period.

I will always have fond memories of all the great calls over the years. Made listening or watching better with his enthusiasm and energy. One thing Buffalo has had over the years is announcers who made the game better between VM and RJ of the Sabres both are all time greats IMO

Stay at 9 and get the 3rd best T or the 2nd best WR, maybe the 3rd best DE type? I love the move, the compensation will be irrelevant in the long run. Watkins is one bad mofo! The teams 2nd rounder from 2013 worked out pretty well, proving good players can be had in rounds after 1.

If they are gonna have four backs on the roster anyways why not these four? Last year the fourth string back saw some action, if it happens this year the talent is far better. FJ is on the last yr ofor his deal and CJ can opt out. Gives them some leverage with two players like Brown and Dixon waiting and under contract already.

Trade up to pick #5...Bills select Mike Evans as a security blanket type receiver for EJ Manuel. If they stay at #9...Jake Matthews, too good to pass up.

I thought Watkins was bigger? I really think the Bills should seriously consider Evans at #9, his measurements are off the chart. 6'5 37in vert 35 1/8 in arms means huge catch radius which given EJs accuracy will be needed!

If the reports are true that Byrd and his agent are still holding the team hostage then see ya Byrd, don't let the door hit u on the way out. The team converted Williams and drafted two safeties last yr to help with the transition. Although there could be some drop off in terms of overall skill I really think the money will be better spent on the offensive side and/or perhaps on a run stuffing LB

Nice post, this answer satisfies my question thanks.I do not know if it is that simple. It sounds good? But, its a big pill to swallow when putting it in front of reality. A team that is so unorganized uniting to make a huge decision spending a first round pick for a player that suits their head coach, someone that may or may not work out and is not even the preferred target for the new big chief all while the player is not considered to be truly elite by the measurable blablabla the stats like and is still just a free safety...?
I'd like to think it was as simple as Cleveland wanting a premier and elite player to compliment their new head coach and solidify a very good unit... but, I cannot say it is.

Depends, if he's willing to sign a reasonable contract he would definitely be worth it!! He can play!! Most likely he will be looking for his last big payday which would put the Bills out of the running, too bad!!

Pettine is rumored to want Byrd, Cle has an extra 1st round pick #23. Win, win for both teams. Whaley should already be testing the waters on this trade!! It's been reported that either Byrd signs or he gets the tag, Buffalo won't let him walk on his own terms and they shouldn't.
Why not? Cle has a pick to burn and Byrd has more value than any safety they can get with pick #23 since he can teach the defense like Pettine wants?That's why it's so implausible. The bills aren't going to get a 1st from anyone for Byrd.

Who cares, Rice is banned and deleted from Madden. Roger listened to the wife's sob story, who can blame her for trying to protect her meal ticket, and when the video finally surfaced he did the right thing. No need for Congress to get involved, I would think they have better things to do but idk
