  1. Fitz is 18-33-1 on bad teams as a starter, with a 75 QB rating, 68 TDs and 65 INTs. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/F/FitzRy00.htm Moore is 13-12 on bad teams as a starter, with a 80 QB rating, and 32 TDs and 26 INTs. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MoorMa01.htm Moore was significantly better than Fitz last year, and it was his first time with really extended starts, he is trending upwards and Fitz obviously downwards. Moore had an 87 QB rating last year, and Fitz had a 79.
  2. Matt Moore will start for Miami all this season until they are out of it, same time frame as Buffalo. Moore is already better than Fitzpatrick, his numbers don't lie, there is no possible way anyone can look at numbers and wins and losses and not say Moore is better than Fitz.
  3. You keep saying it is hard to compete when the other team scores 40 points. The Bills offense is constantly giving the ball back to the other team, sorry if I spoke over your head. Seriously, how can you not relate interceptions and 3 and outs together? They are both giving the ball back to the other team. Wow. Preschool football lesson there.
  4. Bills are instantly better if they name Young the starter at QB.
  5. League leader in INTs, the worst team in 3 and outs on offense, and towards the very bottom in 3rd down conversions had nothing at all to do with that. Got it.
  6. Bills only beat NE because Brady threw 4 INTs. Know the last time we beat Brady? He threw 4 INTs. Pretty safe to say as long as Brady does not throw 4 INTs the Bills will not be beating the Patriots. Last year's win was fun, I was at the game, but it was a complete fluke and it is crazy to call it otherwise. Fitz has given the Bills no chance from day 1. It has shown in the number of wins they have too. I can do that too. GO BILLS@!!! I still want them to win, they just won't with him at QB, it has been proven.
  7. Arguement is the same the whole time. Fitzpatrick has bad stats (QB rating is more important TD passes, it takes into consideration all those INTs and crappy YPA he has), on a team that has no success, and when compared to his counterparts, he is clearly lower tier, and he has proven to not be a clutch late game player overall. How am I changing an argument, is is the whole things, there is nothing I have changed, people have tried to pick small pieces, and this is the whole thing when you look at him over a 16 game season. He is bad, barely an average backup in the NFL. Shaun Hill is better than him. Jason Campbell is better than him. THere are many backups in the NFL better than him who have better stats and have actually had team success too when they play at a much higher rate then Fitzpatrick. Guess I will settle down, he will be on the bench by week 10 anyway (game 9). After Bills lose to New England, then at San Fran, then at Arizona, there will be a bye, and it will start the Young talk, especially ater they lose again to the Titans at home just like last year when Fitz did nothing and had the key fumble in that game. Then they lose at Houston and at New England, and Vince Young plays the Thursday night game at home against Miami.
  8. I AM LOOKING AT A 16 GAME SEASON!!!! I never said anything else. You hand picked a few stats, and then compared them with players from 10-20 years ago, that is not smart. You need to compare Fitz's numbers to his QB counterparts of today, and he does not fare well at all..........OVER A 16 GAME SCHEDULE!!!! Defense was pretty good in 2009, Fitz's numbers were awful, under 70 QB rating, imagine if they actually had a decent QB. His numbers could have been even worse if not for bonus game against the Colts 2nd stringers in week 16. He could have been cut if not for that game. He was 4-4 that year as a starter. I was at that game in Carolina, only reas the Bills won is because Delhomme kept giving the Bills the ball. Fitz had 123 yards passing and had 86 yards passing against the Chiefs and won. He sucked. If that team had a better QB they could have easily won 10 games that year. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/F/FitzRy00/gamelog/2009/
  9. Bledsoe was 8th best in QB rating in 2002. Jim Kelly was regularly in the top 13 and top 10 in QB rating. You cannot really compare players stats though, stat for stat. You can compare QB ratings. Pure numbers on offense today are way up over the last 10-15 years, they do not even compare. Fitz has had enough stats to actually qualify for QB rating for 4 years in a row, and he is dreadful when compared to players OF TODAY!! He should be compared to his current QB competition. 2011 22nd 2010 22nd 2009 26th 2008 31st He has had 4 really bad years of playing quarterback. Not only bad stats, but no team success either. You can live with mediocre stats if you are winning. You could go try and spend more and go out with the hot chick and hope she puts out. That is RG3. You could just go out with a similar type of chick and hope she puts out, like Brandon Weeden, and hope they do put out, because you already know Fitz is ugly and does not put out.
  10. If a good team like the Patriots can draft a kicker and be confident that even though they consistently have a Super Bowl caliber team and let their Super Bowl winning kicker leave like they did a few years and keep a rookie kicker, certainly the Bills can have this happen.
  11. THere is also a salary cap. If he can do the job for 1/6 of the price, why wouldn't you want that? Means you can have better depth at other positions that the Bills never seem to have.
  12. I am interpreting the NFL is 16 games for a season? I am not twiting anything. You are twisting it by not taking a look at the season as a whole. Maybe Shaun Hill should be a starter?
  13. Since I live in Atlanta, I want to see if Matt Ryan can improve more. I also look for Julio Jones to be a beast, and take over as the #1 for Roddy White at WR. Ex-Bills news......Coy Wire is a fill in now for the local sports talk on 790 the zone. I am also interested in seeing how well Matt Moore plays. He did very well last year. He is playing to see which team he will be starting for next year IMO.
  14. You have to be good for a whole year to be good. The NFL is 16 games. You must play all 16 games. When you take into consideration that the NFL is 16 games (which is really hard to fathom, some people think it is like 7 games), he has never been good.
  15. I really do not understand that this is deemed a personal crusade. In my opinion the Bills would win more games with Vince Young. He has a better record as a starting QB, and Fitz does not have a good record. Their stats are very similar in QB rating and TD/INT ratio for the the career, but one guy wins and one guy loses. One guy has many more 4th quarter comebacks and game winning drives than the other, the difference could mean the playoffs: http://www.pro-football-reference.com/play-index/comeback.cgi?player=YounVi00
  16. Only if it is good enough for the playoffs. Every year not making the playoffs is a bad year in reality, and for this team in the 3rd season of Chan and 3rd of Fitz to not make the playoffs is a bad season.
  17. They might respect him but I bet they would not be sad to see him replaced.
  18. You guys must really like losing if you think it is bad to bring competition in for a team that has not made the playoffs in years.
  19. Gannon was the clear #2 QB on Minnesota and KC, and those teams were winning. Why are you replacing QBs who were hurt when you were winning? He was behind Wade Wlson in Minnesota, and behind Steve Bono and then Grbac in KC. Gannon won, but his teams won more with the starter back in. When Gannon received his shot to tbe clear #1 QB, that was in Oakland. HE WAS INSTANT MONEY WHEN HE WAS THE CLEAR STARTER, HOW CAN YOU CAN SEE THAT? Fitzpatrick is the clear starter in Buffalo, and he has sucked the whole time, and his team has not fun, he is bad starting QB and he has proven it and has proven he is not close to to the Gannon story. Fitz was a backup and passed around by bad teams, Gannon was a backup on good teams that won and made the playoffs regularly. How can you not see that? Mid 70s in the late 80's and early 90's was actually pretty good for a backup. Not to mention his teams actually won when he played too, he was 19-16 in Minnesota, and 11-8 in KC. Fitz has been a loser his entire career. Fitz has earned nothing, it makes no sense they are staying with a guy with such lousy stats and horrible win/loss percentage. Compare him to his modern counterparts and he comes up very bottom of the heap and is being passed not by younger players the Bills never a play for too. RG3 and Luck solidify Fitz's spot in the 20's.
  20. I am just trying to present how bad sticking with Fitz is in a different way, but I guess it won't apply if you don't like girls.
  21. Lindell has lost many games when the Bills were actually a more competitive team. The Pittsburgh game, he misses a kick and then Phil Dawson makes one for eth Browns that is even further and against the win, misses 3 chippies against San Fran, he is a below average kicker and Potter should take his job.
  22. Yes, I am Trent Edwards, makes perfect sense. Geez talk about calling someone an idiot.
  23. Hilarious to worry about backup QB when the starter has only led the team to 10 wins over the last 2 seasons. Big Deal.
  24. Sticking with Fitzpatrick is like going out with an average to below average looking girl who could look better with a nicer haircut and better make up. You take her out, spend lots of money, she is not very good at conversation, but she tries. Thing is, you think you can get into her pants? Nope, she doesn't even put out, but for some strange reason you continue to want to date her instead of just going out with some other chick. Heck, just to get laid, try some other chick. She might be sloppy, but you might get some. That is Vince Young. He is sloppy but he has proven to win some games and has many more 4th quarter comebacks.
