  1. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/apparently-bill-belichicks-friends-get-the-sense-that-he-could-be-retiring-soon/

Sorry dont know the protocol to posting articles. I really hope this is true. It kind of makes sense since hearing there is friction forming behind the scenes. Oh happy days!!!!

Don't worry. Kraft will find another sociopathic tool that will cheat and lie about it. . .and the league will cover their tracks.

  2. Holmes, Thomas, Clay, Benjamin, Matthews.

This makes a lot of matchup issues and queues up a lot of possible fade routes, since most of these WR and TE are four to five inches taller than the average DB.

Could open up possible Draw plays and TT designed runs for TDs in the red zone.

This trade really does open up the offense a lot. It could be one of the better trades in years.

  3. I love tall receivers. Dude is big, tall, fast, physical and young. Sign him LT if possible and the WR position is taken care off. Benjamin/Matthews on the sides, Jones in the slot. . .Holmes/Tate as 4 and 5th on those sets. . .Clay and O'Leary as TEs.

WR suddenly went from liability to strength with this trade!

  4. @AdamSchefter

Vascular surgeons are trying to save Bears TE Zach Miller's leg, not just his career, per @mortreport.

    @RossTuckerNFL

    Ross Tucker Retweeted Adam Schefter

Man. Only thing I prayed for before games was to not suffer a devastating injury. Now praying for Zach & family.

For someone who didn't see it, what happened to cause this? How did he get hurt?

I don't pray for people since I lost my faith years ago, but I am hoping the doctors can work their magic and make that horrible idea of losing the leg not happen.

On edit: My VPN in China is working and I just watched it on youtube. Bloody Hell, that reminded me the McGahee injury. I winced hard watching that. My lord, that was nasty (understatement of the year)

  5.

Tell me that didn't make your game seeing that! They rallied around Tate.

Yes, being there yesterday, and at many games over the years, the team's sideline reaction was very unusual compared to most teams.

They are definitely embracing the "whole team" concept and celebrating (literally) the contributions of the bottom of the roster.

Again, very unique team culture going on here.

And McD giving the game ball to Logan Thomas was the class act of the year! Can we say, after seven games, that he owns this team and that "trust the process" line is working?

  6. Did you all see the team rally around Tate after that awesome catch and run? That is the Bills I remember from the 1990s.

McD has this team completely. The team believes they can beat ANYONE right now, simply with the reaction to that catch and run.

They look like they are having fun. They look like a team with a chip on its shoulder and an attitude. And I really put a lot of that on McD. He looks to be a GREAT hire. . .probably the first since Wade.

The other one was the Micah Hyde pick. The two LBs celebrating and Mills going out to congratulate Hyde. The team is playing REAL team football where the Offense and Defense are not units, but a team.

I am feeling really good about this team, best I've felt in years. Beat the Jets solidly and can we say the Bills have arrived, since the next THREE games are all winnable? This team can be 8-2 going into the KC game.

  7. POSITIVES:

    1. Come from behind gut check was nice.
    2. Putting up 13 points in 10 minutes of the 4th quarter was nicer.
    3. Shady looking like Shady was sweet.
    4. Nick O'Leary being clutch was sweeter.
    5. Timely turnovers was great.
    6. Finding Thompson and him performing for 100+ yd receiving game was greater.
    7. Tyrod's passing day (to everyone but Jones) was awesome.
    8. Defense stuffing the run and forcing passing only was even more awesome
    9. A win like that was good.
    10. Forcing four turnovers was better.
    11. Putting up 30 points on offense was even better
    12. 3-0 at home and 4-2 (should be 6-0) 40% into the season and looking up is the best.

    NEGATIVES

    1. Two catches in nine targets for Zay Jones sucks. Accounted for most of TT's incomplete passes.
    2. Getting picked apart in the air makes me worry about facing the Pats in December.
    3. Leaving at least six points on the field after turnovers should have cost the Bills the game.
    4. Time management and play calling at the end of the 1st half was laughable and disgusting.

    GRADES

    • QB: A-
    • RB: A+
    • WR: B+ (Would be A if not for Zay Jones)
    • TE: A+
    • OL: A
    • DL: A
    • LB: B+ (soft in the middle)
    • DB: A
    • ST: A (one missed FG)
    • Coaching: B+ (that end of the 1st half BS was stupid and amateurish)

    OVERALL: A

TRAP GAME WARNING: Oakland is big time beatable, but like Cincy, this is a big time trap game.

  8. I don't see Police officers taking a knee to protest how terrible things are in America or how mistreated they are. It's a high stress job dealing with a lot of the scum of the earth. It's not an excuse, but it likely contributes. It's a larger problem than what the players are " protesting " is my point. I've educated myself just fine on the issue thank you. I've got my thoughts on it and you have yours .

Gotta love that white-splainin. It's like when men man-splain women's issues.

  9. That's pretty hilarious. You totally got called out.

And that and a $1.50 will buy coffee. Don't care honestly. If calling out total strangers on a message board gives people's lives meaning, I'm glad to do so. Other than that, save it for someone who gives a tinker's damn.

Well might as well cut him right now since he didnt meet your deadline coach.

Another jelly roll that probably never played the game and definitely never coached. Your opinion matters. Cant wait for the next one.

Here it is. . .spending time arguing with someone you will never meet on a message board really shows a lack of a life. Use a dime and buy one.

  10. Man, why you throwing shade?

    You're on meds, aren't you?

I'm throwing shade on a team that lost on an offense that looked flat and a QB that I gave the benefit of the doubt to, but hasn't produced much in the first five games?

Okay. . .I'll pass on whatever logic this is. Shade is when the team wins and people still whine about crap.

So OP you start the BS TT hater thread calling people with quoted below. Who is actually suffering psychopathy and narcissism?

I said that after a win when TT looked like he was turning the corner, so I as optimistic. I saw last week's game as possibly a turning point because he finally had a good game. Then he returns to normal. Jesus Christ, WTF is wrong with you people? I'm supposed to throw him under the bus after a good game?

My BS thread, son, was stated after a win after listening to the TT haters complain all week about him. As I said, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and started to believe he was turning it around. After this week, I don't see it happening any time soon. Satisfied, or do you want to continue this idiotic sophistry?

  11. No problem with us drafting a guy a la KC, but Taylor is a competent pro and we are lucky to have him vs. a lot of the garbage that is out there.

I thought that at the beginning of the season and was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. I put it as much on him as I did Rex Ryan's system. But after these five games and barely 1,000 yds passing, it's TT. I am open to a change now.

  12. Again. This is who Taylor is and there will always be people saying he has no weapons. He had similar games with woods, watkins, clay and shady healthy. Stop babying him. He has been a started for 2.3 years and has not progressed at all. I said it in the gameday thread and ill say it again. Bills and most fans where OK with giving a rookie only 10 games but are fine waiting 3 years fir an 8 year vet to finally get it.

I stated I wasn't ready for a change at the beginning of the season. I was willing to give TT the benefit of the doubt due to the fact that people gave Fitz more time than TT. I said I would reserve my judgement until the bye. It's the bye. . .he's proven nothing to me that he can run an offense. I am willing to see a QB change now.

TT is barely passable at worst, approaching average at best. There is enough of a sample size to warrant a change in thought.

  13. way off

the QB deserves a better grade

    37 attempts.

who the hell was he throwing to?

the OL and WR lost this game with no TE's.

That air mailed INT in the 4th sealed his low grade. If he led the team down field, It would be have been C+ if we won due to his amazingly anemic passing yards and his taking stupid sacks.
