It's this exact attitude why the Bills continue to not make the playoffs, we never get better. If Poz isn't going to get better at his position, why don't we fill his spot with somebody that possibly can ?? It's the very definition of insanity to do the same thing over & over while expecting a different result, as a Bills fan I would say we're all slighty nuts.

Agreed, I thought that it was going to be near 100% or just under as I understood it. I know you keep stressing the same point (several times), so can you please come up with what you feel the "Cap Minimum" will be ?? That would be more constructive then simply kicking out some random information, thanks.

If TP ever became a NFL owner, he'd be the 3rd richest (possibly 2nd based on energy going up). Paul Allen is #1 4 X over but to call Terry a low-revenue piker shows just how clueless / desperate you are to try & make a point. Pretty sad PTR, I'd expect even more of a Ralph bootstrap licker. Pegula would be 3rd Another factor is that Terry is willing to forgo profit in the attempt to win championships, how many other professional sports owners can claim the same ?? This is a rare fact indeed & shows that his passion for Buffalo sports is beyond making a profit, which is the exact opposite of Ralph. The small-market speech was probably the lowest form of scum babble that I have ever thought a Billionaire to say, give all us poor folks a pity party why don't ya ? This is the exact reason I started this thread, just to show you the exact other side of town's opinion on what's important to an owner. Ralph = profit / Pegula = Championship, who do you want to see succeed as a fan ??

These numbers maybe off a touch but we should have plenty to spend based on this simple math. $49 Million in Cap space ?

Hockey players are smarters guys, they have to navigate ~410 violent games versus only ~56 for an NFL player on average.

It's also conventional wisdom that our owner is not currently fielding the best possible team / coaching staff / facilities that money can buy, it's not even close.

We're not exactly talented at LB is a more accurate statement, it's currently our biggest problem by a landslide. I think we need to hunt down a few FA's to fill the gap....oh no now I did i. I forgot that we have Ralph the small-marketness, there is no money to spend past his million a month profit every month. I think the lady in charge of the orphange on Annie spent more on her kids % wise than Ralph has.

I think Jerry Jones is willing to invest in his, along with many other owners for the long haul. It's about improving as a franchise, not just as a team. The Sabres are becoming a first class organization & have the fan support / area support to become the new hockeytown. The Bills are 2nd class franchise at best, running at barely the minimum to keep the lights on. That effort last year was putrid & our team is a majority mix of lepers / jokes, blended with some talent. I see Dareus as a huge step in the right direction, one of many needed that will only come when Ralph is no longer affliated with this team.

Anyone that is not part of the solution is part of the problem.

That's pretty much my whole point in a nutshell, don't tell us about the pregnancy / just show us the baby. This BS about small market team / not making money doesn't mean that you can't step up & make financial decisions or even sell the team for an improved situation.

Knowing Poz's injury history, will know his replacement within the first month of the regular season.

Evans has became more & more invisible every year, it's a mix of poor scheming / age / who is throwing the ball to him. I like Lee but not enough to ever sign him to a long-term deal again, I think if we could trade him for a good O-line guy, that it should be done ASAP.

I wouldn't of called NO a great destination to land either but Brees literally put them over the top, which can happen out of FA. This was also a recent event, not like it happened decades ago.

Unless of course the players want to come to a winning team, unlike ours. Then FA works for some but not for others, who would we attract as a 4-12 team?? You can make excuses all you want but the good teams add people through FA all the time, we can't because of record & won't because of Ralph.

So keeping the same players in place during a losing cycle can create a winning cycle ? I got it.

I remember the Skins beating us in a Superbowl & making the playoffs a few time in the past 10 years. We have stunk the place up & really fell down last season.

The economics speech was only believed by people who are zombies & followers, it's all based on the owners economic model. Pegula came back from out of state with Billions in his hands & is paying to improve the conditions inside HSBC. He paid top dollar for the team & is paying the players with upfront loaded contracts over long periods for cap sake. The Sabres already had solid coaching in place & a solid management system to work inside. The Bills have management that is suspect at best, a coach with little or no winning experience & a stadium that is quite old / in need of remodeling. We currently lack the talent to win over half our games on next year's schedule & have had 10 seasons of no playoffs, which tells me the current model is broke. Please don't give me a speech about baseball miracle teams that win one year, that doesn't happen that often in the NFL. It takes years of building & working to even see some type of results but moreover it takes a financial commitment from the owner to pay. Ralph will not pay anymore & will cut every corner he can in the name of profit, that is been proven year in / out. PS The Rays might win it this year but have no cigars yet. I woke up & wrote this, it's a story you'll see later this year & can come back to realize that this is how it's played out. I hate to be the bearer of bad news on the Bills front but at least I have something to look forward to out of the Sabres. The Sabres had a good mousetrap & have worked to make it better, as a fan that's all I can ask for.

Terry Pegula has sent a shadow that covers OP / the Bills that will be difficult to get out from under. It actually shows that people who want to field talent & love their team pay to bring in it in. I am really saddened by how the Bills have went down hill the past ten years & feel the time to call out Ralph is right now. Step up & make the last years of your life something to remember, open your wallet not your ~century old mouth. If you can't handle the payment, step away & sell it to a local that can.

Poz's reputation has been bigger than his play IMO, so I wouldn't be sorry to see him walk. I can't remember a big play & his stats are average, so he can help us make 8-8 ball a reality, if we're lucky.

It's a stretch to think he'll play up to this contract but in all honesty, he is young & probably going to play better than most of the guys we have had over the past several years. Not exactly a high mark to hit.

Sal has had his share of meltdowns but I think he's a Buffalo Fan through & through, so I can look past everything.
