I like Von Miller, as well, but his size is a major concern, if you ask me.
My top players right now (and it's early…maybe too early) are no particular order, Dareus, Fairley, Quinn, and Von Miller. I don't like Bowers.
I'm still mulling over Cam Newton. I was warming up to him but was really put off by his comments yesterday:
"I see myself not only as a football player, but an entertainer and icon," Newton said as noted by Sports Illustrated's Peter King during a phone call he had with the quarterback.
That sort of talk really hits me the wrong way.
Cam's comments really didn't bother me much. What worries me about Newton is the one read and run offense he ran at Auburn. That really scares me.

The thing is, even if Green was as good as Larry Fitzgerald, Andre Johnson, or Calvin Johnson, or any wide receiver in this league for that matter, I wouldn't want to see us draft him.
I simply don't view wide receiver as a critical position in the excellence of a football team. Brady won a Super Bowl throwing to guys like David Patten, David Givens, and Deion Branch.
As others have put it, no position is more dependent upon other positions for success than wide receiver. There's a reason that receivers are not typically drafted highly.
IMO, Green will slide down to where he will be such a great value that some team will be compelled to draft him. But not in the top five.
You make some very good points, but outside of my top 4, I really can't find someone I like better than AJ Green. Who would you put ahead of Green? Cam Newton? Cam Jordan? JJ Watt?

No Martez Wilson, the guy is overrated, way to stiff in the hips plays to high for a mlb and doesn't. Shed blockers very well. I just can't see why lots of people on this board want this guy in the second round, maybe the third.

I don`t know why people feel that we need a QB so bad. Fitz had a good year and he only played 13gms. I think now that he is the unquestioned starter and he finally has a whole offseason as the starter to prepare mentally and physically.
I beleive Fitz is our future at QB, we just have to give him a chance and build around him. get this guy a RT and 2 new TE( Spaeath,& Boss.
Then in the draft we go DDDDDDDD.
NO LAME GABBERT if we take him on draft day i`ll throw up

NIx said we are 3-4 and Chan said we are Hybrid. We will be playing both.
U must of been one of those guys that wanted Maybin over Orakpo. I like Von Miller intensity but with hus size he can be another Maybin. it`s just scary dude. As far as Fairley and Bowers go i would rather have them then Quinn also
-
Nobody said Quinn is a 3-4 End

Very True

Stl Bills- Moffitt in the Second WOW!!!!!
Why do that we have some up in comers at the G and C
i`m looking forward to seeing Lev,Wood and Urbik. we have a future here

Nobody is a finished product coming out of College, that`s what coaches are for to develop these players.
By the way Robert Quinn has been a Beast for 2 years not 1. and is a physical freak. he has all the tools he can get vertical on the bend in pass rush and he also has great hands and power to work his way threw the inside.
He will have some issues in coverage in the beginning, but that`s what experience and coaching is for.
Quinn will be a stud in the NFL

I know us as Bills fans are tired of our Defense getting blown of the LOS, on every single down.
It`s time to get back to being a top 5 Defense

Terrible Mocks.
U must be one of those guys that think we need to take another Finesse player ala (Green)
My plan fills our Hybrid scheme

I want our draft pic to look like the cover of a Jenny Craig add.
this is what our front 7 will like with my plan
starting 3-4 and backups in rotation
De-K Williams. Troup
DT-P Taylor. K Ellis, Troup
DE-Carrington, Austin
Olb R Quinn. Moats
Mlb Poz Danny Batten
mlb Matthews
OLb Merriman. Moats
when we go 4-3
De Quinn
K Williams
p Troup
M Austin.
This can be a killer rotation, Keeps everyone fresh. Big pass Rushers and Run stuffers we wont be getting pushed around anymore

The Bills have a great opportunity in this draft. This year the draft is loaded with front 7 players.
We need to get big and Nasty up front with a rotation ala (New England).
#1-Robert Quinn-reminds me of DaMarcus Ware sprinkled in with a little J.Peppers. can play 4-3end and 3-4 OLB
#2-Phil Taylor- just a monster of a man 337 pounds and quick first step with power.TRUE NOSE TACKLE.
#3-Marvin Austin- can play the 5technique also dt 4-3. reminds me of Darnell Dockett.
#4-Kendrick Ellis-another monster. 340 pounds good feet.
#4-Casey Matthews-intelligent instinctive middle linebacker plays all out all the time.
I`m not even gonna bother with the rest of the draft. with these additions. we get bigger and stronger. We also can cut some dead weight like STroud, and Johnson that free`s up money so we can fix our RT and TE spot in free agency. If the Bills do this they can be a force in 2 years.

this is my plan (Defense,Defense,Defense.) This plan is realistic
resign Poz,Wilson, Florance and Urbik
sign Soliai, Wanye Hunter RT Jets. Zack Miller and Spaeath. ilb Stephen Coooper. These are Bills type pickups
Draft
#1- Bowers or Quinn. We need a edge rusher in worst way.
#2- Ryan Mallet. This is ideal spot to pick the cannon armed QB. Give him 2years to develop behind Fitzy.
#3- take another Dt whoever is still on the board between Marvin Austin and Phil Taylor.
#4- Casey Matthews, pair this guy up with Poz and we will have 2 thumpers in the middle of our D.
#4- Moffitt LG Wisconson. Road grader lineman with nasty streak, great value here.
#5- DT kendrick Ellis. another space eater for our new and improved front 7
With these additions the Bills get bigger and tougher. WE need to start building like the Pats. heavy rotation front 7, keep guys freah and attacking style D thats what we need.
Cut Loose ENds
Marcus Stroud, Spencer Johnson, terannce McGee, these guys are overpaid and got to go. I would ask McGee to take pay cut if not he is out.
-
Remember Zack Thomas? well Casey Matthews is 2.0 Plays with a chip on his shoulder. Very Intelligent player, always seems to be in the right place at the right time. He doesnt need to weigh 255 lbs if he plays like he is 255
Which Bills 1st round draft pick had you jumping for JOY?
