  1. Matt Flynn is also a big upgrade over Fitz, Flynn has a better arm. He makes throws that Fitz can`t make. He throws that back shoulder pass perfectly and has enough zip to make intermediate throws downfield, he also shows some nice touch on his long balls. He doesn`t have a cannon by any means. But a least he will make defenses respect by opening up the field.

Romo is also an upgrade he`s more mobile has a much better arm.

With the exception of Flynn at least Romo and Vick has played and won PLAYOFF gms. Thats something Fitz will never do..

  2. Please...just say no to retreads.

I know what your saying about the retreads, but if we can draft a QB to develop behind a Vick or Romo, Flynn type why not. Vick will fit in well with what we have. Spiller and Vick in the backfield can give defenses nightmares. We also have a good set of wr's to throw to, our wr's have been open but Fitz can't get them the ball. With our OL Vick will be very comfortable. That's the problem he's having in Philly. No line. On top of all that a least Vick has a big arm and can open the field up for our wr's. That's been Fitzy major problem the field feels compressed and his throwing lanes are being closed cause he can't go downfield at all NO Defenses respect his arm at all.
  3. I liked Foles to but like u said he's the Eagles future QB.

Some guys here don't like Mallet cause he never played in a pro game. If that's the case then we can never draft a QB cause they never played against the pro's either. At least Mallet has practiced in an NFL enviroment and played in the Preseason also.

Pats will trade him to anyone it doesn't matter where as long as they get a few picks. I would offer no more then a 3 and 5.

  4. Joe Webb is the most intriguing for me. Kids runs like the wind. He has alot of upside. Nice strong arm also. Could possibly be had for a 3rd and 5th round pick.

About the kids coming out in the draft. I'm not sold on Geno Smith. He kinds of reminds of VY. Maybe I'm wrong, but I never like those big 12 QB's most of them don't pan out on the pro level. That conference is always wide open football. No defenses. Matt Barkley is another guy I'm not sold on USC QB'S we know the history there. Tyler Bray, reminds me of Mallet. I think he should go in the 2nd or 3rd round. He never plays well against good comp either. At least Mallet played well vs SEC COMP.

  5. I disagree Vick is definatly an upgrade over Fitz.. He`s more athletic, stronger more accurate arm. Vick`s Oline is garbage he has no time to throw the ball plus he`s taken a beaten over these last two yrs. He flourished his first yr because there line was much better. But they have gotten older and injured over these last 2yrs.

I do believe if we made this move that we will have to either draft a QB or trade for 1 of those other young QB`s on my list to develop in our system.

  6. I don't really like any of the QB's coming out of the draft outside of Geno and Barkley. We won't be picking 1 or 2 in the draft either. Let's face it Buddy will not trade multiple picks for a QB. Remember what he said about the Skins trade with the Rams? First he laughed at the Skins saying they gave up to much and said he didn't know how good RGIII was gonna be. If he didn't think RGIII was good enough he definatly won't think Smith or Barkley is good enough. Considering that RGIII was a better prospect then either Smith or Barkley.

Which leads me to my subject, I made a list of QB's I would like to see us go after that are on NFL ROSTERS.

#1- Jamrcus WEBB- I really like this kid he has some skills. Very fast great runner with a cannon arm. Not the most polished but under the right system like Gaileys. This kid can flourish. I think this kid has a ton of upside.

#2-Mike Vick- If the Eagles don't make the playoffs look for Vick to either be outright released or traded. I would love to have him. I think with our Offensive line we can give Vick the protection he desperatly needs. And under Gaileys system he would be the perfect QB for his offense. Even if the Bills clean house and fire Gailey. I still believe Vick or Webb will still be a good fit.

#3-Tony Romo- Same as Vick. Dallas might be ready to move on after this season. Brings expericence and will be a major upgrade over Fitz.

#4-Kirk Cousins- Big strong armed accurate QB with great leadership skills. I like his poise and passion to be a leader on our team. Kind of reminds me of a young Steve Young.

#5-Ryan Mallet- If the Bills clean house fire ChanNix, I believe this Big strong rocket armed QB will be a great fit in Buffalo. With the windy conditions in Buffalo. This guy can throw threw those winds.

These are my top five the following are on my Honorable mention list.

    #6-Chase Daniels

    #7- TJ Yates

    #8 -Jason Cambell

    #9-Matt Flynn

    #10-Matt Moore

Ok guys Chime in who would u like to see? If I missed anyone let me know.

I didn`t forget Colin Kaepernick, I just don`t think he will be available for trade. Jim Harbaugh loves this Kid.

If he was on the list he would be #1

  7. I agree with u, We can't adjust. Its obvious that CJ is our best player on Offense, why is he on the sidelines. Hell he might be the best player on the team.

The Bills need to find a way to adjust now. Its not hard, the Broncos were the laughing stock of the league last season at 2-6. They were getting blown out every week. What did they do they adjusted , they switched there offensive philosopy from spread offense to power running game. They ended p making the playoffs and winning a wildcard gm. I think 9 out of 10 Bills fans will take that right now.

  8.

    One word: Polian

I'd really like to see the link with SJ13 saying what you wrote. And, if true I understand. The dude is not a leader and never will be one. Until this year (since he's roped in his is "celebrations") he was more like the class clown.

I can't post a link from this wgr app. Its on his interview on the wgr site. He said alot he feels players feel awkward ripping each other on the sidelines.
  9. Tim Tebow is very intense, and that's what gets him on the field. Its definatly not his talent.

He is an exception to the rule. I can name u 10 on field thug types for every 1 Tebow type.

I'm basically saying that we seem to nice. I don't see anyone ptting fear in the opposing team from our D. Ever since Juaron showed up the Bills hit people like a bag of Donuts. Soft.

Is there a correlation between being nice character guys and being soft for the most part.

Stevie Johnson said this week that he feels like voicing his opinoin on the sidelines. But the playyers don't listen and that there more worried about people thinking there making a fool out of themselves. That is a problem. These guys are more worried about looking cool then getting there asses kicked on the field.

  10. Buddy says today after watching film of our Defense these last two gms. He says we are lacking Intensity and Urgency.

My question here is that after drafting predominantly High Character nice guys these last 7 or 8yrs. Is there a connection between having to many High character nice guys? As aposed to having a good mixture of on field Thugs, ie Ray Lewis, Cortland Finigen, Suh, J Harrison

I believe every team should have some of these kinds of players. I'm not talking about trouble makers off the field.

Is this the reason why we have no TRUE LEADERSHIP ON THIS TEAM?

    I believe it is.

    Flame away

  11. I

Nix hired Gailey and signed off on jettisoning Edwards for Wannstedt. He is directly responsible, and that's before we even begin discussing the 2010 and 2011 drafts which so far aren't in-line with a guy some people once called "a top 5 talent evaluator." They have exactly 1 decent contributor from the 2010 draft and 2011 is heading downhill fast.

Maybe it was all A.J. Smith in SD and Buddy was just along for the ride after all.

I agree with u 100%, . Buddy is directly responsible for everything he not only drafts players but he hires the Coaches. Its about philosopy`s. Like i said when i posted this topic. Buddy had a plan in place when he took over. Big Strong armed QB, Physical Team, 3-4 Defense. He wanted a team that emulates the city of Buffalo. Tough hard nosed blue collar team..

This team doesn`t really fit any of those descriptions. What i see is an offense that lines up with multiple wr sets, A QB with a needle arm that can`t throw accuratly past 10yds. I see a finesse offense with no true identity other then some pistol formation, That looks like something out of that old John Elway arcade game. These Bunch formations that the wr`s always look like there running routes right next to each other..

On Defense, oh where do i start. Oh ok he started with the 3-4, but he didn`t go after any 3-4 outside rushers as in Brooks Reed, Justin Houston, Instead he drafted Arthur Moats and Danny Batten. He put his pass rushing chips in a injury prone Merriman. C`mon MAN!!!. Really, Really.. Buddy has done a fantastic job.

This Defense is a pop warner vanilla custard pie with alot of swiss cheese. I am tired of this sht...

Drafts ok this is how we are gonna grade him how many good to decent starters do we have in the first 4 rounds of the last 3drafts. 1st round we got 4 good players, Spiller, Dareus, Gilmore. 2nd round 1plyer Cordy Glenn. 3rd round Zero Players, 4th round Zero players. that`s 4-12 thats a 33% HIT RATE IN THE MONEY ROUNDS. But outside of the first round he is 1-9. ANYONE ON THIS BOARD WOULD OF DONE A BETTER JOB. All u got to do is hit on 2players.

Man Buddy is doing a great job.

Honorable mention- Saying he doesn`t know what he has in Trent Edwards. lmfao. I could of told him what he has in Checkwards. A scrub..

  12. When Buddy took over the team he spoke about putting together a big physical team that plays to the blue collar mentality of western NY. He spoke about a big strong armed QB that Can ( throw threw those winds!! ). He laughed at Jauron`s cover 2 Defense. Last But not least he Spoke OF BUILDING THREW THE DRAFT.!!

So if we grade those promises after 3 drafts.

    Big armed QB= F

    Blue collar Physical team= F

    Draft= F

The Stache Defense awfully reminds me of Juaron`s D= F

I`m pretty sure in the real world if anyone had this many failures at work they would be fired.

Outside of the first round of the Draft what has this Guy done.

His first draft was horrible he reached in the 2nd and 3rd round. T Troup, Carrington. This is the way u start a new era? Instead of drafting Gronk a hometown product that is mismatch from hell. Btw TE was a big area of need for us. In the 3rd round he takes Carrington from a small school. We could of gotten Carrington in the 5th or 6th round.

    2011 draft

2nd round pick A Williams, Half of the NFL scouts had this guy projected as a free safety in the NFL. Instead of him we could of taken Brooks Reed, Andy Dalton.

3rd round he takes a mediocre Lb that should have been in the late 4th rounder. Instead of taken a Rocket armed QB like Mallet, or another LB like Justin Houston to help keep building his 3-4 defense.

These are just a few examples of Buddy blunders. Point of the Matter is He Gotz to GO

  13. i can`t believe Buddy Nix was laughing at the Skins when they gave up those 3 firsts for RGIII, Look who is laughing now Buddy.

I was hoping the Bills would of made that deal. i would of even given them 4picks.... Franchise QB`s don`t grow on trees.

It`s obvious that Chan and Buddy have no clue to what a franchise QB looks like, these are the same men that said they didn`t know what they had in Trent Edwards.

Trent Edwards, C`mon man everyone on this board knew he was garbage. Trent Checkwards, really!!!

Why don`t we just kick them tires on old Donovan McNabb, I heard he was in great shape. lol

  14. i agree with the spread the wr`s out more. it always seems like there running routes right next to each other.

I also agree with running the ball more. that helps us in 3 ways keeps Fitzy from throwing picks and it sets up play action also gives our D some more rest.
