I long for a day when we don't talk about Mel kipper or any of those dope shows on this board for their draft grades

I don't understand the reasoning that if EJ plays well it is a good trade and if he doesn't it may not be. Yes, we lose our #1 next year but almost every high first round QB gets three years to prove if they are the man or not.
We likely aren't taking a QB high in the first round next year even if EJ tanks. There are a couple at the top but chances are, with this defense and this offense, it will not at all be an obvious choice whether he is "very" good or not.
But the bigger and more important point is, it's all about Sammy, not EJ. We have him for five and maybe six years. If he is a star player, and only a star player, it will be a good trade.
Stars are tough to find. If, after three years or four, regardless of whether EJ is our guy, Watkins is a stud/star, it will be a good trade. A championship team, in any year, in any sport, needs a couple stars at any position, and several very good players at various positions.
But to me, the essential element is, it's easier to find two very good players than it is to find one star player. I would trade two very good players for a star or stud any day. The Bills have one star now and that is Mario. Watkins is really a stud talent.

Is there any scenario where it would both be possible/advantageous and fans would root for a trade down that gets us a second 2015 first rounder?
I'm personally all for staying at 9, a slight trade up or a slight slight trade down depending on board. Personally wouldn't want to trade down to 23 for example.

That is a very good point... But how many times do they need to say big WR before we can see through these potential smokescreens... Not that Stevie is on Byrds level.. but if we take ODB at 9 and trade/cut stevie as has been written... its the same as just taking ha-ha at 9.... spinning our wheels even if ppl believe ODB is better than Stevie.. just my thoughts...
Very excited for tonight... Go Bills!!

Is it me or is this an exact replica of Tavon Austin rumors last year on Draft morning/afternoon

Trade up for Watkins/Evans without losing #1 in 2015 if at all possible
if we stay at 9.. Ebron barring an unexpected fall by someone else
-
Could you imagine?!
-
I'm 29 so you will have to excuse my ignorance a bit here... But I have to assume ppl were more sure about JK at the time than we are with EJ today.. Thus allowing for a "risky" trade like the Bennett deal?
Either way. Very excited for tomorrow and do truly trust the front office these days!
Go Bills

I'm going to lose my mind if they trade two future #1s
A 2015 #1 would make me very nervous to lose but I'll count to 10 and get past it... Two is insanity

I thought (lesser teams like us, jags etc) alternated prime time home games by year.. is that wrong or another convenient loophole like Thanksgiving this year?
-
both jets games are after extra rest I believe
-
This truly is a slap in the face to me. At the end if the day when Thanksgiving rolls around it'll prob be easier but it's been a "50-50" shot for a while due to CBS etc

Whether you wanted it or not... What a joke

I can finally stop hitting f5!!

Huge college hoops fan here. Patric young could play MLB. He is an absolute monster
-
I think it was tax related? That sounds familiar
-
Great pic! But he does have 11.4k twitter followers fwiw. I wish I was that cool at "12"
I wish I was that cool now
-
only a 1 year deal apparently...hoping theres a club option mixed in
-
Very excited about this one.. in terms of realistic targets he was my #1 hope coming into the offseason... keep the momentum into the draft
-
Good start... come on Spikes!
maybe dessert is over?
-
I would absolutely love him signing here... Dareus moves to the end.. I'm no coach, but that sounds fantastic
-
I'm admittedly grasping here. I see he had that bad PFF rating and all and I find that stuff fascinating... However. He did have to play 6 games against the brutal D lines of the NFC west
Man this glass is hard to fill halfway!

I am in the camp of hoping Byrd comes back.. I'm most worried about Oakland, Washington, St. Louis after the Tj Ward to Denver signing
