    I don't know about that.

Coming off his 2022 All Pro campaign, they were able to get him to re-sign on a 1 year deal worth 2.62m

Signing Araiza could simply be posturing on KC's end. Make him believe they have an option in house to replace him come negotiations. I doubt he wants to leave Kansas City to begin with.

He fired that agent and brought in Rosenhaus. He's looking to cash in.

Injury plagued?! Try being replaced by a rookie that we took in the first round because Knox was a not an impact player to begin with.  You are forgetting he didn't live up to the contract last year either, (and never has).  He got paid top 5 TE money! Only Kittle, Andrews and Kelce will make more than him this coming season (and like barely more).  And he's always had some durability questions marks, that's part of the issue with the contract!

Pretty much. He's being paid as a top #1TE but he's a #2. Even if Brady runs more 12 personnel it's just not a good contract.

A good contract is one that looks good in hindsight, not just on the day the ink dries.

  3. The experience center is where fans will experience their potential seat in the new stadium in virtual reality and feel what it is like to sit in a variety of seats from a 360-degree view. Fans will also be able to design where they want to park and tailgate and then enter and make their way around the new stadium, in addition to finding out what their options will be for food and beverages.

The Bills are still seeking fans interested in signing up to be on the waiting list for season tickets at the new stadium. Those interested can sign up online, drop a $150 deposit and then they’ll be welcomed to the experience center after current season ticket holders.

The $150 is for people without season tickets. Read people.

This is so true! I heard a stat on one of the shows that’s just astounding. When faced with 1 minute or less time at the end of playoff games QBs are collectively 40% successful in getting enough points to either tie or win. Brady was 46% which is pretty good. Brees was 50% which would lead all QBs if Mahomes wasn’t in the league. Mahomes is 100%! 7 for 7 in those situations. One of those was the 13 sec. That is just too unbelievable. That’s why teams need to milk all the time in the end to score last. That’s the best way of beating Mahomes and KC.

    There's your answer.

I never understood how they hit that ramp into the trailer at 45 MPH or whatever and didn't go shooting out the front of the trailer into the cab.

Only thing that wasn't believable about that show.

This upcoming season is going to be a real down year. The turnover on defense is going to be a big factor and a rookie WR from the bottom of the 1st round isn’t going to be ready to make a huge difference right away. I’m not expecting to win the division. I think we’ll be fighting for the last wild card spot. The theme of the year will be young players getting important reps, and hopefully being future affordable starters.

This is sort of where I'm at. They're in a tough spot next year financially.

  7.

Reid’s comments suggest there’s no obvious consensus among coaches about what to do, but if the Chiefs had won the toss, they were prepared to kick off and play defense first.

“We talked for two weeks about new overtime rules,” defensive tackle Chris Jones said. “Give the ball to the opponent. If we score, we go for 2.”

  8. The award goes to the QB with a #1 seed. This isn’t hard to figure out. What happens in previous seasons or the playoffs means nothing. It’s not a conspiracy and there isn’t a “narrative.”

    2013 MVP  –  QB/#1 Seed (Manning)
    2014 MVP  –  QB/#1 Seed (Rodgers)
    2015 MVP  –  QB/#1 Seed (Newton)
    2016 MVP  –  QB/#2 Seed (Ryan)
    2017 MVP  –  QB/#1 Seed (Brady)
    2018 MVP  –  QB/#1 Seed (Mahomes)
    2019 MVP  –  QB/#1 Seed (Jackson)
    2020 MVP  –  QB/#1 Seed (Rodgers)
    2021 MVP  –  QB/#1 Seed (Rodgers)
    2022 MVP  –  QB/#1 Seed (Mahomes)
    2023 MVP  –  QB/#1 Seed (Jackson)

10 of the last 11. It’s not written in stone, Ryan won it with the #2 seed in 2016 (got help as Brady was suspended for 4 games).

There was another in-season Allen MVP thread where I pointed this out. When I told them that Allen was essentially out of the running in early November I was met with skepticism and disbelief. At this time the Bills were 5-5 and I pointed out that Allen was around +3000 odds. Still not convinced. At no time in the last 3 months did Allen’s odds dip below +1000 (i.e. it wasn’t happening).

  9. Lamar has been -20000 on the books for the past month. Many sportsbooks even stopped taking MVP bets because he was such a huge runaway favorite. If you were watching this show and thought someone else had a shot to win it, you are living in a different reality.

    Primary Needs

    1) 1, maybe 2 explosive receivers.  Need to replace Davis and could use a legit downfield threat.

    2) Defensive End - Lawson, Floyd, and Epenesa are all FAs.  They think it will be a challenge to bring both Floyd and Epenesa back.  I don't think either will return.  Regardless, they suggest getting someone this draft to split time with Miller and takeover for him in 2025

    3) Defensive Tackle - Jones, Settle, Ford, and Phillips are FAs, leaving only Oliver as a returning starter (or contributor for that matter).  They think a Day 2 or early day 3 draft pick will help fill the void.

    Hallelujah.

  11. Holy crap the man lost $20M on FanDuel  😂😂😂

Online records show Patel was a high-stakes and high-volume daily fantasy player on FanDuel and DraftKings, both of which are official betting partners of the NFL. Patel played daily fantasy sports as far back as 2017, the records show, and his play escalated in 2021 and 2022. ESPN previously reported that Patel played daily fantasy under the username "ParlayPicker" and was believed to have racked up big losses playing against elite competition in contests with buy-ins upward of $24,000.

One veteran daily fantasy player told ESPN on condition of anonymity that they believe ParlayPicker is "the biggest loser ever on FanDuel."

"He was legendarily bad," the person said.
