What the heck is up with this draft format? The production looks like something from the Covid years, I had to shut it off.

I like Kesselring but that is a very light return for JJ. Hit a homerun with a 2nd round pick, develop him properly, watch him begin to thrive in the NHL, and then just before he's about to enter his prime - trade him. The Sabres truly are a farm team for the rest of the league.

Was that Adams’ worst press conference ever? He’s had some doozeys, but that was next level.
I just got enough courage to watch this. I think the most disappointing thing was learning that our new Senior Advisor to the GM, Jarmo Kekalainen, will still live in Columbus, OH and work remotely. When you consider our current Associate GM (Jason Karmanos) lives in Pittsburgh and works remotely, well, the optics look like crap.
Kevyn Adams constantly preaches "We want people that want to be here" yet he can't even get his own high-level front office people inside the building.

I’m not big on McDermott. I think he’s fine. He’s like the Brock Purdy of HCs to me.
I would say he's more like the Dak Prescott of HCs. He can put up some great numbers that everyone will point too, but in the back of your mind there's always that thought of "Hmm not sure if this is the guy that can ever get it done." You could do better, but you also could do a LOT worse, so you hope the stars will align one year.

The best thing McD did for Allen was to hire DaBoll. That's where you can start and stop the accolades.

We are 8 days away from crushing some kids dream of playing in the Cup finals.
Based on recent history, that kid is 5 years and 8 days away from being traded and playing in the Cup finals.

Florida is so well coached, positionally sound, and they play perfect structured hockey. The better team won, it's as simple as that.

Back to the topic at hand, The Athletic digest which I receive via email every day said this:
"Stewart and his agents asked for a standard, slot contract for his draft position (No. 17). Cincinnati wants to set a new contractual precedent with more aggressive language around voided guarantees. Stewart understandably does not want to be a guinea pig for all players that come after him."
I would agree with this characterization and Stewart's reaction, 100%.
Voided guarantees, now there's an oxymoron.
Just give him the standard rookie contract. There wasn't any issue last year with Mims at #18. This seems like a very, very petty battle to pick.

It's crazy how some teams just won't admit when they need to go into rebuild mode.
There's no such thing as a rebuild year in Steeler land.
They haven't had a top-5 draft pick in 55 years (1970 when they took Bradshaw).

I want to see a replay of the whole sequence instead of just the tail end they need to show.

NHL.com is great for goal replays.

This is about everything we could ask for in a Cup final series.
It really is. Goal with 17 secs left send it to OT again. So envious of how Florida has built their team - perfect balance of skill, grit/tenacity, and heart. Marchand was the perfect late season addition for them.
McDavid's curl and drag pass to setup Leon was amazing.
Jeff Skinner a healthy scratch again.

Two trains are driving toward one another. The first train leaves Town A at 5am traveling at 60 miles per hour. The second train leaves Town B at 7am traveling at 70 miles per hour. the distance between Town A and Town B is 455 miles.
What is the EXACT time that the collision will occur?

This just seems like an anti-Steelers thing to do. No idea how Tomlin will put up with his antics. They should bring back AB and complete the circus.

What was the revenue target and how close to it are they? That’s the real question and the only one that matters. We will never know that answer.
You're correct that we may never know the answer, but if they sellout early in March or April (as predicted in the BN article) that's a clear indication that they're very close to their target revenue. Legends knows what they're doing, they aren't going to prematurely drop PSL prices and forgo millions in revenue just to say "Hey look, we sold out 6 months early!"

I feel like it’s a perfect storm with this guy. There has been zero buzz, no expectations and he has legitimate all
Pro Ability. That seems to be the type of combination that results in being pleasantly surprised.
This dude was never an All-Pro 😂 He's a PED meatball. If this guy signed with the Jets or Dolphins there would be a dozen threads laughing at the desperation.
He is, however, the perfect Von replacement - and I mean perfect in terms of homer excuses.
I've already heard "I don't care what he does as long as he's heathy in January"
And I assume by September I'll get the "They're saving him for the playoffs" Yeah right, that's a thing.
He's a scratch-off lottery ticket.

The big question is, was he at Josh's wedding?
I've heard a lot on here about how much they love each other!

Considering every other team he owns (especially the aforementioned one which is the most important one by far) is doing well...
When you're drafting in the top 10 every season for 15 straight years, then yeah, your minor league hockey team is probably going to be good.

But why aren't they building it downtown?? I really need some TBD experts to chime in and explain why a stadium that's open 20 days of the year with 150 acres of surrounding parking lots wouldn't be an economic boon!
