That was on the coaches.LOL!
Tyrod leaves another 3 points on the field.
Hi football IQ?
He's a dummy.
The play call was a 3 step drop and quick out. The only call that makes sense is all verticals to the end-zone.
-
That is embarrassing. Take one shot to end zone and then kick FG.
-
Watch the game. No impact so far but plenty of snaps. Same can be said for entire DL.Is Dareus playing at all?
-
Go away. TT is best player on offense this game. Not even close. Its official. Tyrod is an awful QB. He is not an elite QB. Holds the ball, not accurate and lets oking to run twag too much. Get him out!!!!
-
So does Whaley or McDermott get criticism for Jones? They traded up for this crap.
-
Dareus one on one there and no push up the middle. Coaches are giving him a shot. Need more from him one on one.
-
Who is this TT you speak of? What position does he play?take away the TT scrambles and the Bills are getting beat. QB play still is not good enough.
-
Should have run for first down but that is a TD pass if 26 keeps running upfield
-
26, keep running the route... basic football
-
Wow, how low was that hit on TT?
-
Dimarco bwst play of the year for him
-
And Dareus doubled on every snap, freed up KW up the middlehe started
-
Football isn't about numbers. Regardless of your side in the TT debate, judging him solely on numbers isn't fair. Football is a game of inches, it's about making clutch plays at the right time. TT fails at this more often than he succeeds. We are 4-2 if he makes a quick read and gets the ball to Logan Thomas. Instead, he chose to wave him into the endzone. We missed a chance to put seven on the board, and eventually lost a game we would have likely won otherwise.
They are 4-1 if Jones can catch.
None of us know what route Thomas was supposed to be running. But I agree, a quick throw there beats the LB and Thomas should score. TT was too conservative there.

Rex took a talented defensive roster and ruined it by force-feeding his scheme down their throats.
McDermott had significant talent removed from the offense prior to the season, leaving him with a crap QB and no one for him even to pretend to throw the ball to.
Completely different.
You think Beane traded away Watkins without McDermott's approval? At this point we don't even know who is making the personnel decisions. McDermott is responsible for signing Tolbert, Demarco, all while letting Woods and Goodwin go. You can spin it any way you want but McDermott is responsible for the demise of the offense so far.
Hopefully playing a string of teams with worse defenses will allow the offense to find its stride.

Beat Tampa and Oakland. That is all that matters. Win those two. Whether we score 10 points or 30 points. Go 2-0 after the bye and the playoffs are on. 1-1 it is a longshot. 0-2 and the tank begins.
Accurate assessment

I don't see what you guys are seeing when it comes to effort on the field? Perhaps in practice or arrival for meetings, but I still see a guy that commands double teams the vast majority of the time he is on the field.
I fear McDermott has already formed opinions of players like Watkins, Darby, and Dareus. Maybe those opinions are accurate but his play on the field has been just as good as any other DT on the team. Watkins was by far the best weapon they had on offense. Gaines has proven to be a good player and better that Darby in this zone heavy scheme but is also in the last year of his contract unlike Darby was.
But I digress, I still don't see the lack of effort on the field and think he deserves more snaps when they are in the nickel and expect a pass based on formation or down/distance.
-
Like or hate him, the guy has proven to be a great interior pass rush DT. When he is consistently out on 3rd and long you can't say it is just the rotation.
The defense has played wonderfully so any criticism seems odd.
I just dont understand why coaches don't coach to a player's strengths. Let Dareus rush the passer. At least give him the chance to prove he doesn't belong before getting rid of him.
-
Shaq is slow but a solid DE.
Only Rex could look at him and see an OLB.

......hmmm.......how do you fix this?....

► Key stat: Taylor is now 2-16 in games where the Bills trail by four points or more at any time in a game. What this says is that the Buffalo quarterback has historically not gotten the job done when the Bills need to rally to win games. This was a shining example.
That stat includes many games the defense lost the lead TT built. Miami and Oakland from last year alone. Win those two games and they are in the playoffs with a win against the jets in finale.
-
It's all good until he chokes in the playoffs
-
The phantom hold on TT's 3rd down run for a first down was a killer
-
exactly, maybe we should worry about the real problem, the qb
Same QB, Top 10 scoring offense to bottom 5 - what changed? New OC, no Watkins, and a hurt Glenn with no CK at back-up. Who made all those decisions?
McDermott
-
Sad but I think the board is right. They will not make a move.
Give them all the credit in the world for turning around the defense. But as McDermott says there are three phases to the game and they are destroying a top 10 offense.
-
Get over it. TT is the best QB they have had since Kelly.
Peterman is closer to Tuel time than he is a competent starter. He has minimal arm strength and no athleticism.
Honestly I hope TT gets the flu one week and Peterman gets to start. Would love to see Peterman on the road against KC defense.
This board is the same year after year. The back-up QB is great until he plays and shows he sucks.
They are 3-2 with a **** show for an offensive line and no WR.
You want to put a rookie QB with no arm strength behind this offensive line with no WR than can separate from even an average NFL DB????
Clay was the only viable receiving threat and TT was using him perfectly. Yes TT should have gotten him the ball more the last two years. But without Clay, they have no one that can get open and catch the ball.
So please tell us why Peterman should start on a team that is 3-2, has a win over Denver, and a QB that has thrown one bad interception and has had more drops than errant throws?
