I will do my part
-
25 years old -- Canadian but born into a die-hard Bills family.
Never had the privelege to see the Bills as a true contender, so my user name speaks for itself...
-
The stadium will absolutely erupt when Dareus' name gets called on Sunday
-
I'll be wearing the #99 Dareus jersey with pride this Sunday. I love Dareus as a player but this weekend obviously carries extra significance
-
I was pissed at Mario after the game too, but come on guys...
I think Mario will thrive off the home crowd this week and deliver a monster game. I imagine the Ralph will have a very loud welcome for Super Mario come Sunday's introductions...
-
Good question.
McKelvin is the most frustrating player to watch. You can tell he has all the tools to be a stud CB, but he simply cannot make a play. I can't help but think that he'd be a pro bowler if he played for the Pats or Jets with some good coaching
-
Sounds good! Nothing spoils a good tailgate like rain in September
-
Well, considering Fitz doesn't have to go up against Cassle, I'm going to ignore your analysis, because (while appreciated) it's basically meaningless.
I watched the Falcons vs Chiefs game last night, and here's what scares the **** out of me:
KC absolutely picked ATL apart...when ATL only rushed four...
Wanny's gotta come around. If he think he's going to run an effective defense without employing some exotic blitz packages, and if he stays on as our DC, it's going to be a loooooooooong season, folks.
ATL has a weak D to say the least. But I guess ours looked even worse than theirs last week. I agree with the exotic packages -- Bowe is the only receiver that we should really watch out for. Scott should be able to handle Moeaki, and McKelvin's speed (with safety help on deep passes) could contain Baldwin.
I think our offense wakes up, and our defense improves this week. 28-20 Bills win
I dont think Brandon Flowers is set to play in this game.
Good, Stevie is gonna need to have a big game
-
I don't think Revis said anything insulting or controversial. Even if he was a big trash talker, unlike most guys in the league he'd actually be able to back it up.
I hate the Jets but Revis is a flat-out stud. I hope Stevie continues his successs against Revis, but I'm sure Stevie is more worried about the matchup than Revis is. The numbers are a testament to SJ's skill, but we need to remember that Rex puts Revis on an island all game. So giving up 70 yards to a player while covering him one-on-one isn't exactly "having his number".

Don't know where you are getting your info from, but Brady and Manning have had very similar numbers throughout their careers, and going back 9 years Brady is 2-2 in super bowls where Manning is 1-1.
In no way shape or form has Manning had lesser talent at his disposal than Brady. The lone exception for Brady was a couple of years of R Moss to throw to.
Have you never watched either of them play? Manning is clearly the superior quarterback. The Colts could barely win a game without him -- The Patriots won 11 without Brady. Does that not give you an indication of who has the better talent on their team? And you've neglected to include BB in Brady's success.
-
Peyton Manning > Tom Brady.
Watch how Brady plays now. He is mirroring everything Manning has done in his career. Audibles, quick hitches, no huddle, etc.
Manning has revolutionized the game.
I've never seen Montana play in his prime so I can't really say who's the best ever.
I can, however, say that Peyton Manning is the greatest player I've ever seen. Hands down. Brady is awesome, but Peyton is better.
-
lol in the beginning of the year Eli was an "average qb". Now all of a sudden he's better than Peyton? You guys are crazy...
-
why would the bills want to pursue the greatest quarterback of all time? We only overpay for mediocrity
-
I'd run through the streets if we signed Peyton Manning, I don't care if it was for the rest of our salary cap.
+1
too bad it'll NEVER happen
-
Nice. If the Bills were a semi-competent team, I'd say that would be a great schedule.
Indy and Houston are going to destroy us for sure. The others are toss ups (other than the obvious Pats)

I like Rogers alot.
I doubt Choice will see much (if any) playing time next year if Freddy is signed. Jackson and Spiller are both miles ahead of him
-
1. Strongly disagree. I think Chan has a stud on his hands with Spiller but abondons the run game to run a five wide set in the hands of our below average quarterback which obviously leads to turnovers. He has a good system, he has TERRIBLE play calling. Screens are runs are not used nearly enough. We hide our strengths and expose our weaknesses by doing this.
2. True. Hairston has alot to learn. I think Pears has proven his worth as a competent NFL RT. A healthy Bell isn't a terrible option at LT, but he's injury prone and inconsistent so I agree that we could use another LT.
3. Agreed. Our players are well suited for a 4-3 defense. Kelsay Dareus Williams and Edwards is more than a formidable line. Barnett has shown that he was a solid pickup and a good MLB. I love Merriman but he's always injrued and I think he's a big reason as to why we're trying the 3-4.
4. Yep
5. Bingo. Not only do we need to sign him, but we need to get someone else who can actually be a respectable #2 WR
6. Ya but who the hell is going to want to come to Buffalo? Sexy free agents are almost impossible for us to sign
7. Yep
8. And a qb and centre
-
Also, Edelman hit Fitz late out of bounds on one run - no call. You can bet if it was Brady it would have been 15.
I have no problem with that no-call but how can you justify Florence's penalty after letting that one go.
The explanation was the best part though: "drilled him to the ground". I hope Pittsburgh steamrolls the Pats* in the playoffs
-
cant really hate on the guy.... He plays his heart out every week.
Unfortunately, he isn't a starting NFL quarterback. We need to draft a qb in the first round if we want to get in the playoffs in the near future. Sure, he may be a bust and we have other positional needs, but we're not going anywhere until we have an elite qb. We need to gamble
-
What a joke of a call.
Brady takes a dive like a soccer player and the ref says he got "drilled" to the ground.
Brady should just have his own whole rulebook for refs to refer to when they're officiating Pats* games.

Great game boys

I thought we already have 30 000 of these threads?
I'll sign the petition, though
