  1. This was a "if the shoe fits" post. Like I said if your offened then you might be that dude im talkin bout. Im well aware of the stated of the Buffalo Bills franchise...Im pissed about the last 11 years like everybody else is. But it also pisses me off when I look to bills fans for intelligent Buffalo Bills dialogue and I get some of the dubmest comments and post i have ever seen not just regarding the team I love but the game of football. I was a fan of the game of football years before the Bills and its just rediculous what gets posted on here.

It's kind of ironic that you're looking for intelligent dialogue, yet you are unable to spell "ridiculous" correctly...

  2. It's crazy how even one pre-season game can alter the way we think about the Bills. I actually felt half decent about them after the Bears game. And I know it doesn't mean much, but that Broncos game was pathetic. While most fans cheer for touchdowns, I was cheering for every first down as if it were a touchdown -- that's how little confidence I had in the o-line and offense in general. Every completion looked like it was the most difficult task on earth.

  3. I hear ya. Every year I defend the Bills to everybody, claiming that they are underrated and may surprise people. I've even been saying that alot this year, but I don't know if I believe what I'm saying half of the time. Who knows, though. Every year there is a surprise team that comes out of nowhere. I'm really really hoping that it will be the Bills this year *fingers crossed*

  4. I have tickets to the home opener, and that's probably the only game I will attend. That's the one game that will be a guaranteed sell out with a feeling that the Bills still have something to play for. Bills fans are extremely loyal every year despite the poor economy and small market, and yet, the organization is still not serious about winning.

They don't deserve our support. Ralph should be thankful for every sell out. He sure as hell doesn't deserve it.

  6. This league is built around elite quarterbacks. We already have an average qb in Fitz. I haven't seen too much of Stanton so I can't really comment, but do you think he'd really be that much better than Fitz? We seem to always bring in guys with "potential", and the experiment dies 1-2 years later.

  7. Sorry if this has been done before.

Every year the Bills seem to have some player(s) who come out of nowhere to have a great season (Stevie J, Kyle Williams, Freddie, Byrd, etc. in previous years). Who do you think will be a pleasant surprise this year?

-I really think Spiller will surprise some people. He still makes alot of rookie mistakes but it sounds like he'll be getting alot more reps this year which could turn him into a very dynamic player once he picks up on the nuances.

-Easley. He does the same thing Stevie J did at first. He's elusive, is able to create sepatation, but sometimes gets alligator arms and drops passes when he hears footsteps. He's still technically a rookie, so I think he'll get over his mental blocks. I seem him dropping some passes this year, but I think he'll put up decent numbers.

-I really really want to say McKelvin becuase his talent is incredible, but he hasn't shown anything that would jusify such a prediction. So instead, I'm gonna go with Aaron Williams. I hated this pick on draft day, but I've heard nothing but good things during camp, and he's looked really good in the two pre-season games thusfar. He doesn't look intimidated, loves to get physical, seems to have that football instinct, and has a great deal of athleticism. I'm starting to like this kid already. I really hope he gets a chance to play with the first team.

  8. And now that we've traded away our only deep threat and our only formidable receiver left will be doubled most of the time, with no proven #2 WR, I'd say we're pretty screwed on 3rd and mid to long ranges. I think we're gonna have to rely on draws and screens alot more than other teams because of our bad o-line and lack of depth at WR.

Hopefully Easley or Jones can really step up. I'm not too worried about Roscoe playing slot if he can stay healthy.

  9. He looks scared out there. He looks great in open space like almost every receiver does, but in tight coverage or when a LB or safety is lurking, it seems as if he's more worried about getting hit than actually catching the ball.

He's still technically a rookie, so it's to be expected. But this is something he HAS to overcome soon cause he doesn't have the speed to just run past everybody before he catches the ball like Evans does.
