The Bills are the Bills. Don’t act like we’ve been so much better than the Browns.
my sentiment exactly.

No, we don't have the best defense in the NFL.
But Houston definitely has one of the worst starting QBs.before or after the Bills...?

Uh, Frazier is running McD's defense. And McD had to strip him of playcalling duties this year once already.
Little chance your "offensive HC" retains a DC Frazier who will run McD ball. Close to zero. Pay attention to the NFL.
Tyrod Taylor had 19 yards at halftime in his last game. Enough with the slander.
yet somehow, our offense performed better. the O has been putrid this year. not placing that on JA or Peterman. it's all on McD and Beane.

hahah weird. one week at a time.

I don't get this argument. Andy Reid put those pieces together and ensured Mahomes sat behind Smith (one of the league's best game mgrs). it was brilliant, and their records reflects that.
McD and staff rid themselves of both Watkins, Woods, and any competent vet QB. They're on OC number 2, and have suffered deafening losses. these excuses need to stop. the Bills are working backwards.

How would Mahomes do on the Bills offense this year?
Not much better than Allen is my guess.
The guy has Tyreek Hill, Kelce, Hunt, and Watkins
No wonder he is lighting it up. He is an amazing QB but I doubt he would be as successful with the current Bills offense
ha we had Watkins, until the ridiculous FO traded him away, and fans here rejoiced.
the Bills put themselves in the putrid state. Mahomes is a literal game changer. speaking hypothetical is moot, at this point. -

This is incorrect as well. It's not due to poor offseason decisions. Their hands were tied due to dead cap. There was only so much money to spread around. Incognito losing his sh*t again then retiring, coupled with Wood's neck injury, and moving Glenn for draft capital made this OL what it is. Without that draft capital we don't get Allen and Edmunds. I would have spent the money they spent on Star other ways, but no one is going to agree with every move a FO makes. They brought in McCarron to be the bridge, but he didn't show much so they got a 5th for him. Steal by the FO. Peterman fooled everyone again and showed his true colors week 1. They were holding out hope from the 2nd year, 2nd rounder Zay Jones. They were hoping that Benjamin would step up and make some plays. Clay is still a decent receiving option. We still have Shady. I don't know what you expected, but Rookie QB's don't usually make All Pro their first season. You look for improvement mainly in recognizing defenses, manipulating the defense with their eyes, and how they operate in the pocket. The offensive gameplan against Minnesota was outstanding. Outside of that it has been pretty bad. He may sink in your opinion this year, but as long as you see improvemnt in the areas I already stated everyone should be encouraged. This offseason in 2019 will be the one they can actually start putting some pieces around him on the OL and at the skill positions. Like I said in other threads, I never expected much this year. I just want to see growth out of the young players.
this team has not put Allen in any position to succeed. whether you'd like to point to the OL, the WRs, the OC...or even lack of mentor. all these factors are controlled by the front office, and they have failed Allen.
-
Absolutely. He was put in a position to either sink or swim, strictly due to poor off season decisions.
People can minimize the impact of having a vet on the team, but it's needed, and we don't have one.
1 hour ago, PlayoffsPlease said:Allen seems pretty solid mentally. He will succeed or fail based on his own capabilities.
Very false.

Hey, at least they had the opportunity to go for a 2pt conversion.
Cool. Ruthless. People care more about one's ability to be liked, rather than coaching a winning team.
Marrone and Hackett are doing much better than our staff, even with a QB that most ridicule.

We have a coach that has chosen multiple times to start Peterman. We have signed multiple players that choose to retire over being a Bill. Our team is getting destroyed on the regular. Yet we are talking about Tyrod sucking? It is like the 400 lb girl with a beard making fun of the super hot girl for having a pimple.
I would have to agree.
hats off for the analogy!

Yet another moron saying Tyrod “lead the Bills to the playoffs.”
sorry that hurts you
anyway, Josh was not put in the best position to succeed, but we'll see how this all plays out.

I live in Alabama, wouldn't even be close, Tide would beat us. In fact if Tua is available in the 2020 draft, regardless of Allen, I would take him. He is a generational talent
i'm confused as to why living in Alabama makes a difference.
it's a moot point anyhow. it's literally two different classes of talent and skill. no comparison should be made.

this narrative needs to die. collegiate teams, no matter how good they are, will not measure up to a full roster of professional sports talent. no matter how "bad" said team is (Bills), it's not happening.

Draft another qb next year

the OL was not above avg, and on top of that TT was not a taken 7th overall.
...needless to say, I think most people expect a little more out a 1st rounder, 7th overall pick. I'll say this once more. I don't place any blame on JA. he has a lot of learning ahead, but that's to be expected from a rookie. the infraction falls on the Clap N Bean.
