Buffalo is not known for bbq

great post, however, that doesn't answer their question

I'd easily go with Suzy's. it's a true mom and pop joint, so the hrs can fluctuate, but the food is really really good.

it's not a dump, and it's far from being in a "bad" neighborhood. it's just not on the Boulevard.

  2. a playoff win.

2 seasons ago this team sneaked into the playoffs with what many here considered to be a very inferior roster (QB especially). according to many here, the team's playoff appearance was solely due to coaching and some luck (thanks Cincy), not talent or QB performance.

with that said, since 2017 the same coach has completely retooled the offense, got the QB he wanted and revamped the roster.

he should have everything he needs to get the team to the playoffs and get a WIN.

Is it me or does that seem like a kindergarten exercise?

Maybe I'm mistaken, is that a walkthrough and they'll do it in real speed after? Otherwise I think my kids did more in pre-school. Not sure what these incredible athletes would get out of that. Better off taking them out for a team meal and doing something fun to bond.

it's a variation of dynamic stretching. dynamic stretching is a great modality for explosive sports (vs static stretching). basically a warm up.

of course my interpretation could be wrong.

If I irritated  or annoy any of you guys or caused bad feelings. I'll try not to hang around as much. Once again I apologize and hope you guys have a good season and get to the playoffs.

it's not that serious, man. this place is like that. voice your opinion(s). some often confuse TSW with a popularity contest. it's a forum. visit when you want.

Just a few pictures of my office, the signed Tyrod Taylor jersey was a gift, so why not. Has a newspaper clipping from when my good friend, Breon Borders was signed by the Bills.

Edit: i probably completely butchered this post, not sure how to post more than one image in a reply.

Maybe this isn’t as interesting as you think it is?

What conclusion can we draw from the OP’s post? The Patriots are not great at drafting. They don’t have some magic formula that shows which rounds are the best for drafting OL. They simply have the greatest HC and QB.

I think their point is, if you found this tread so uninteresting, then fine.. but instead you chose to leave some snide, reductive comment. what warrants the negativity?

Wow, sorry to hear that. Where are you in the city? I've had the complete opposite experience. I got the hell out of the Bay the moment I could move to Seattle. I appreciate the sense of community, history, traditions, and have had who knows how many conversations about the myth of the seattle freeze, ha! Not saying your takeaways are wrong or illegitimate, just that on precisely the same benchmarks I have come to a totally different conclusion.

If I lived in shoreline/lake city/bellveue/kirkland/kent/renton or one of the many satellite towns, I imagine my experience would be quite different.

we've lived in Queen Anne, and now Lake City/Northgate. where did you live?

I could get into the minutia of it all, but our experiences were the same. not to mention the city itself hasn't accommodated for the influx in population. in my opinion, the city is a mess. it's the last place I'd want to set up permanent residence or raise a family.

the Seattle Freeze isn't a myth. if you haven't experienced standoff-ish or "cold" interactions, that's great, but it doesn't dismiss its existence. much like famine - just because you're "fat and full" doesn't mean famine is a myth. that was just an analogy.

quick story: while I was on Microsoft's campus and elderly woman (well into her 60s) tripped and fell. literally, this is no exaggeration, no one helped. I was the first and only person to approach her. other people glanced down and walked right bye.

my fiance is a clinical physiologist (specializing in Autism) and she's told me she's had more than one patient say they're leaving Seattle because they can't even get a response for medical inquiries or appt request. I myself faced the same thing when dealing with SCCA (Seattle Cancer Care Alliance). I ended waiting til I came back to Buffalo for Christmas to get my annual physical.

not to offend, but that's been my experience. now that she's done, we're moving this summer, back to Buffalo.

Talk about hard to please good Lord, Seattle isn't some Podunk city. One of my favorites.

By her criteria she's asking Wilson to go to one of 2 NFL cities that are arguably "better than Seattle".

Granted I've never lived in that foggy haze of a city. Seeing the sun a few times a year might be a game changer to some

I live in Seattle currently. honestly, it's an awful place. it really makes me value Buffalo and its people A LOT more than I did when I was in college (Bay Area). I've lived out here for almost 4 years with my fiance while she's in grad school. I can tell you right now, especially if you're from the east coast and close to family, you will not like it. there's something called the "Seattle Freeze", and no it has nothing to do with the weather, but look it up. it's real and very weird.

can't blame his wife for wanting to relocate. it's a big city, but if you like a sense of community, history, or tradition, then it's not for you. it's a transient city with worse infrastructure than cities in the Rust Belt (believe me).

people love to visit NYC, but how many would actually enjoy living there...? Seattle is the same, in my opinion.

I knew a kid that was supposed to have a threesome with 2 chicks in high school.  He got the address wrong to the house.  The door wasn't locked, he went in, sat on the couch, got naked, and the people who lived there came home.  He was only 2 doors down from where he was supposed to be.  The girls ended up corroborating his story a day later and the felony trespass was dropped, but he was arrested and the whole thing was a mess.  He missed a bunch of school days...  Perhaps he was there for a late night threesome and got the house wrong.

did your friend meet Chris Hansen that night?

Lynch after Buffalo actually became one of my favorite non Bills. He had a lot of maturing to do that's for sure. I'm sure Pete Carroll was a big reason for it.

...or just age and better environment.

Pete Carroll isn't known for being a disciplinarian

I'd have to go with Kiko. others may have been fools off the field, but they never threw any potential career ending hits...

I'm going to gracefully bow out of this conversation and continue it in October when the Browns aren't living up to the ridiculous expectations the fans n media will paint.

The guy has never even been to the playoffs , he isn't WORTH the negative impact he will have on the locker room. He's already demanding to have his contact redone.

I live in Giant/Jet land with basically all my friends fans of either. He is perceived as a nutcase , selfish and has very negative impact towards the process of building a winning culture.

There's a reason Gettleman and Schurmer gladly took that deal . They understand that this primadonna , very talented WR will not benefit this team to long term success...

There's a reason every Giant fan I spoke to is thrilled right now.. keep listening to ESPN though !

    jaded fans > analysts ?

Have you played the game ? Even if not , if we made that OBJ trade , it goes against everything coach has preached for 3 years. Culture, process, hard work.  The message that would send to the WHOLE TEAM would be negative imo. It would have a negative reaction to what I perceive as a Bills team that is on the up n up.

It's deeper than the numbers and talent. He doesn't fit our team, our process, our culture . He wouldn't equate to more wins for sure imo. I've been hearing whispers in North Jersey since 2017 about OBJ.

How many playoff appearances does this "top 5" player have?!?

    Exactly

but the Bills' front office showed interest.
