Ya-Sin is actually pretty terrible so they can’t be too upset. -
Chan Gailey resigns as OC of Dolphins

Would you want to risk changing the scheme though after the year Allen has had? That’s got to be one of the main motivators behind hiring from within if the goal is to keep the offensive philosophy the same right? The vacancy will obviously be really attractive to a lot of quality coaches. Say Daboll is the only coach from offense to leave, who are you going with for his replacement and what’s the plan there? -

Knox is certainly capable of dropping that many TD passes. -

I think this kid might be good. Can anyone confirm? -
Does the bills success continue without daboll?

The playbook is already here. Not like he’s going to hunt down everyone with a copy. Will be interesting to see if they hire from within to maintain the same philosophy or do they go with an outside hire? Certainly there will be a lot of quality candidates who would want the job. Will they want to change the scheme? Will a guy like Dorsey be as creative as Daboll? Lots of questions. -

This is probably a resign or be fired situation. -

Chargers have talent but they are essentially playing for a Wild Card spot every year. -
I wonder if the Chiefs will take Kroft for Kielce straight up? They’d probably have to throw in a late round pick to sweeten the deal.

I don’t understand the point of threads like these. You can browse every teams forums and cherry pick some ridiculous opinions. Let’s not pretend like we are immune to hilariously bad takes either. The Colts won 11 games and beat good teams during the regular season. I certainly think we’ll win the game but I’m not going to bash anyone from the Colts for being optimistic as well.

Rich Eisen comparing Allen to Mandalorian

I don’t know how the OP can be any clearer in the title. Rich Risen pretty much says it all. Knew exactly what he was talking about. -

Get up early and let Rivers’ noodle arm try and get them back in. -
Not sure if Hall has enough coaching experience just yet to take that role. It’d be interesting to see if we look at outside candidates to fill the OC vacancy. Seems likely that Dorsey gets promoted but you never know.

I could see Arthur Smith getting the job. -

Hard pass -
That’s the downside to the Chargers job. If you’re willing to take a chance then you’re inheriting a good young QB and a solid roster.

Obviously there’s no guarantee he gets hired. Smart money says he’s going to be one of the top candidates though. The point being is that people question whether he’d want to leave to be a HC when Daboll has already shown interest in doing so. These aren’t 20 minute interviews at Mighty Taco. These things take several hours, sometimes over multiple days. Can’t imagine a coach goes through all the prep work and time actually interviewing if they weren’t seriously considering becoming a HC.

They can but they probably won’t. McD isn’t the type. Plus it’s a selling point to other good coaches that you can come to Buffalo and get an opportunity to be a HC at some point.
