This is not wrong, nor unfair. I work in a large corporate environment. I am a grunt - middle manager. Think of Steph as a VP. He certainly is a VIP. I would not, regardless of my feelings, make a loud and proud assertion or joke about a VP's mannerisms. At times, we have to know our place and shut up.

I wouldn't expect to be fired. But, I would NEVER drop a public f-bomb. Adulting is adulting.

Diggs is not a VP. He is an entertainer, which she covers. Reporters talk about their sources all the time. She does not report to Diggs. This is an awful analogy reporters do not report to their sources.

  2. this whole thing is asinine. His brother chiming in on Twitter saying he needs to find a new team. What a narcissistic load of self-absorbed BS. She answered a question honestly, unfortunately there was a hot Mike. We’re talking about a reporter, who, more than likely makes significantly less than $100,000 next to an athlete in the prime of his life making millions.

Diggs seriously needs to get over himself and play ***** football.

The quote sounds like something a black person thinks a white person would say. I don’t buy it either.

At worst, some sort of terrible misinterpretation. People who are messed up in the head often mishear things by other people. Happens all the time.

As for the quote thing, that was my thought as well. I've never heard anyone say that before, except in a Public Enemy album.

But then again, I was called a "honkey" recently. Thought that word retired in the 70s. What a weird thing to call someone.

The quarterback who appears to be most comparable to Josh is early Cam Newton. Cam's performance began to decline in his sixth year, and now we find ourselves in a similar situation with Josh. As he enters his sixth year, it appears that his performance has deteriorated in every game since the Green Bay game last year. Will Allen be able to revive his career, or will he continue to experience a decline? This is a critical question that needs to be addressed.

Let this bolded line sink in.

  5. Negatives:

    1. Josh Allen regressed, threw 3 INTs, dropped one, had wild eyes, was sacked a bunch despite low pressures, and looked rough overall
    2. OT issue #1 - the run play on 3-15 was a bad call
    3. OT issue #2 - Special teams allowing a punt return TD in OT

    Positives:

    1. Allen admitted he lost the game - we have no reason to believe it wasn't a fluke
    2. Allen was pressured less than average compared to other games in Week 1
    3. D line pressured all night long - We bitched about QB pressures last year and the D under new management delivered
    4. Secondary played well (the one TD was a monster catch)
    5. Bass
    6. Diggs - 102 yards / 1 TD
    7. Our TEs
    8. Good offensive mix
    9. Milano's a stud
    10. We are the most balanced team in the AFCE - The Dolphins D looks mighty thin despite some mega talent on O and the Jets are now without their star
    11. My wings last night were awesome, it's football season once again, and fall weather is around the corner

The posts on this board are redonkulous. Simmer down and enjoy the ride.

  6. The Chargers are a contender, preseason, nearly every year - whether Rivers or Herbert are behind center.

    Great offensive weapons, DBs, etc.

But, each year, regardless of coach, they fall when the chips are in. They don't know how to win close games. They just fold.

How can this be the MO for a team with so many different coaches and players and regimes?

The only common thread is ownership.  And perhaps a weak fanbase.

    Glaring hole at MLB

Concerns at RT that could go downhill quick

    Tough schedule and Conference

    Diggs wants out of Buffalo

Josh Allen's body will implode if he does one more hurdle

Our only remaining backup QB is just Allen's drinking buddy and never played QB

The backup assistant strength and conditioning coach is calling defensive plays

    God hates the Bills

    Turns out, Edmunds was good
