  1. What I've learned from this thread:

Tyrod isn't good enough to win a game on his own.

Tyrod isn't so bad he'll cost you a game either.

For Tyrod to succeed all other aspects of the team have to be functioning from defense to the running attack because he's not to be expected to factor in either winning or losing.

To sum it up: sounds like he's just along for the ride

  2. So I turn on NFL Network after the game to see the Bills highlights. After waiting 45 minutes they finally get around to it. Do we get to see McCoy, Tyrod? Yes, but they were overwhelmed but "highlights" of Kaep. You would think from the way they were singing his praises he actually played a good game and didn't just get shellacked by 29 points. This guy pisses enough people off and then to have his substandard performance shoved down your throat is it any wonder why the NFL ratings are taking a hit?

  3. This is just for fun, but as Bills fans, we all know when it comes to losing and getting caught cheating, the Patriots and their fans will come up with every excuse there is.

Besides the obvious (playing with a 3rd string QB), here's a list I came up:

The refs weren't calling anything on Buffalo

    Goodell hates the Patriots

Belichek's cheat codes stopped working on his tablet (which is why he smashed it)

Goodell wouldn't let the Patriots cheat

    The Bills were cheating

Robert Kraft's check to the refs bounced.

  4. I was at the Rex Home Opener last year versus the Colts. The Lower Bowl stood the whole game, even Rex commented on it. It really bothered my wife. I was ok with it but there really was no reason to stand the entire game.

That game we broke tradition and did not tail gate in the far ECC lot. Big mistake. We saw drunks jumping on folding tables and starting fires. We saw fights in the parking lot. We saw topless girls dancing on top of busses. Just before halftime I saw a drunk guy taking a piss in a sink in the men's room right next to a young boy washing his hands. I read that sucker the riot act. Finally, as I was leaving the men's room a fight broke out inside the bathroom, right by the door. I am just tired of it all.

I moved out of WNY a while ago so I haven't been to a game in a long time. But when I did go in the 80's to early '90s pissing in sinks was common. You'd see 4-5 guys all huddled around a sink relieving themselves. Hell it wasn't uncommon to see a guy just pissing right on the floor. Reading you're comment it seems you were a little shocked by this. Maybe it's not as bad as it used to be.

I've always wondered how many people are standing because they really want to. If some a-holes won't sit people around them need to stand to see the game, that leads to more people standing around them. Soon the whole section is standing. But are they standing because they want to or because some morons create a cascading problem.

  5.

Whether they make the playoffs this year or not has nothing to do with what happened in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004.........

They will succeed or not on their relative strengths or weaknesses in comparison to that of their opponents in 2016. Nothing more or less. This 16 years spiel is nonsense IMO.

Rex is 6-1 in season opening games in his career as an NFL HC. Now what?

    Appreciate the irony.

On one hand past seasons are not indicative of present results, except when it is.

If you're going to sit there on your high horse disparaging others maybe a little consistency on your part might actually make your point respectable.

  6. After reading some of these posts you'd think the Bills were 2-14 last year. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't they finish 8-8 last year only one game under the previous year?

One poster even went so far as saying Rex is the worst coach in franchise history. That's quite the take considering such heavyweights of the past like Harvey Johnson, John Rauch, Jim Ringo, Kay Stephenson, Hank Bullough, and Gregg Williams.

Some of you guys are coming across like a Victorian age woman with a case of the vapors. I just hope you have your fainting couch nearby to regain your composure.

The more level headed of us will realize Rex Ryan is a mediocrity coaching a mediocre organization.

  7. I think it would be better for us to have Pitt, Cleveland and Cinci in division. It would be easy to fill the stadiums as people could drive from both Pitt and Cleveland pretty easily. It would be a better rivalry. I think the days of us being in with Miami should end. We did have a great rivalry with them and Ralph want to continue but he's gone now and that rivalry is largely done. I'd hate to leave the division with New England at the point where Brady and Belichick retire and we start beating them again. It would make more sense for us to be in with the other teams though

i think that would be great from a Buffalo fan POV. But I fail to see how the fans of the other 3 teams would rather see the Bills than the Ravens with all the history/rivalry associated with them.
