  1. Stay the course with hate the QB crusade...it really is getting old!

The Bills coaches screwed this game in the second half on both offense and defense.

AND THATS THE BOTTOM LINE!! I havent commented in years, but i always follow and read. I agree with you 100%. Did they really think the Raiders wouldnt make adjustments to what they were doing? They needed to have a different game plan. They also(bills coaching staff) dont know how to make adjustments during the game. Bottom line.... THE COACHING STAFF IS HORRIBLE!!
  2. blitzing does beat Brady. A 4 man front w a blitzer rattles him but not like it used to. He go better at this over the years, his focus is better then ever and you can tell he has done a lot of work, psychologist or what...

Blitz him, man up on his wrs. Hit them hard at line, press coverage and run cover 1 to cap gronk. We can easily beat the pats. We just need to play at the level we are capable.

As said in another post we play to the level of our opponents. Rex Ryan does this with all teams. We simply need to start off well, sustain composure and not give in to silly penalties.

I say we beat NE for a big road win. I'm calling it now.

    IM WITH YOU ON THAT!!
  3. Of course I trust that the DL knows what they're talking about, but I don't think there's anyway that we can instantly change the scheme to produce more sacks.

It appears that New England provided the formula to the rest of the league and that's to hurry up, snap the ball and make quick short passes. We need a totally different angle to beat teams that are doing this, and I think last week Rex made an effort. If blitzing and rushing defenders is useless when the ball gets out quick, then I think he was right to think that dropping into coverage would help. Unfortunately, the Bengals really beat us by running the ball late, and we had poor execution on 3rd downs (mostly unrelated to scheme in my opinion) which are whole different issues altogether.

I think people are a little overblown with ridiculing Rex and his scheme, and I think every time we face a bad QB we will destroy them. Time will tell, and I hope that they can make the necessary adjustments to get the DE's to the QB, but it does seem as though the defense needs to figure out how to beat the quick pass.

you beat the quick pass with bump and run coverage from your corners. Its all about timing. The corners have to check the wrs hard at the line. That knocks the timing off. But one has to ask, how long will it take our front four to get there? I believe playing aggressive bump and run coverage will make the difference.

The d just cant let the o dictate the game. They need to play more aggressive imo. I agree with the players on this one.

  4. Hopefully, ill be there. My buddy is supposeto get tickets that put me right behind the visitors bench. I live in Philly and its not that serious. I rep the the Bills wherever i go. I axtually get a lot of respect for it. Its the usual trash talk, but nothing serious. And later for us (Bills fans. Eagles fans are ready to kill Chip ....LOL!! EVEN AFTER THE WIN.

  5.

That's exactly right. They nullified the rush with quick passes - which is what they do. They are so excellent offensively and like another poster said - with the new rules, when Brady isn't making any mistakes he can't be defended.

We're not ready to beat the Patriots. We now just need to beat the teams we're capable of beating and work towards being a team that can hang with the leagues best teams.

with all due respect i disagree. If he gets the ball out that fast, you have to check or bump the recievers at the line. That means its timing. The key is to disrupt the timing. It would have also helped if the d line got there hands up. Either way itwas a horrible game plan!

What really annoyed me is that the bills would refuse to play tight on the receivers. They knew that new England would try and get rid of the ball quick but yet made no adjustments all game

    EXACTLY
  6. The d line was fine you can't sack Brady in half a second. The DBS have to be in press lock down coverage. Someone has to get physical with gronk off the line. We didn't do either. The pats turned this game into a 7 v 7 contest. The only time Brady had to pause back there Hughes stripped him for a sack fumble.

    BOTTOM LINE!!
  7. Yes I am not an Orton supporter. He is at most an average journeyman qb.But he does have

command of the team and receivers.Something our protege that we have invested in could

    and is learning.

Im just stating that we can win these games against these elite qb's and teams if we come out

and punch them right in the fuk$$n mouth. Many a team with an average qb have won it all..

    We have a punchers chance...

LOVE the op and read you loud and clear. I've been saying this all season. It starts with attitude. If the Bills have this type of attitude, I really think they can pull it off. Sure Manning is a future hof'er. But why he's at it take this ass whopping in there with ya!!

I don't care how good they are. The fact that they are this good should make the Bill'splayers wanna gun for them. If I was a bill's player, this game would definitely be circled on my calendar.

They need to have that Bart Scott attitude........

    "CAN'T WAIT!!"
