  1. Vick paid the price for his ugly criminal behavior. He went to jail and lost years on his relatively short football career. What more do you want? If you have contempt for him and don't believe in the sincerity of his contrition then so be it.

From everything I have heard about Vick after his release and return to playing he has owned up to his mistakes

the fact that he has the habit of saying "it's unfortunate this happened to me" says that he's sincere? The only time he's been apologetic about his crimes is when he's been given a script...that's my issue with him...his lack of remorse

He got out in less than 2 years because of his celebrity...anyone else would still be locked up and everyone knows it

  2. It's pointless to question the "dog lovers" that still despise Vick. People who care for animals more than they do human beings

This is a totally brain-dead statement. Not once in the past several years that this sociopath has been brought up for his crimes have I seen anyone ever put animals above humans.

Idiots see the outrage over him and assume this because they're idiots.

    Here's the facts

He spent 6 years committing vicious crimes...crimes that serial killers had committed before they moved on to humans

He lied about his involvement for as long as he could until they had hard evidence against him.

His favorite phrase has seemed to be "It's unfortunate this happened to me"...a statement that indicates that he thinks of himself as a victim and a lack of remorse on his part.

The name I've seen Vick compared to the most is Donte Stallworth....let's examine that

After a night out, he went home to sleep off the alcohol

A few hours later, he woke up and went to get breakfast, with a significant amount of alcohol still in his system

While driving along the expressway, a guy runs out in front of him and Stallworth can't stop in time to avoid him

Immediately after hitting him, Stallworth called for help and was devastated about having killed the man.

It was discovered that Stallworth still had alcohol in his system above the legal limit.

Stallworth has been remorseful about the accident from the time it happened and did what he could to help out the family of the victim. Had his blood-alcohol level not been above the limit, he very well may have still hit the man and the courts wouldn't have done a thing to him because of the fact the man was illegally out in the highway and it was, in fact, an accident.

So you have 1 guy who committed pre-meditated vicious crimes over the course of 6 years and is not remorseful and another who was involved in an accident that wasn't entirely his fault but has been remorseful all along

No one with any remote level of intelligence can actually think Stallworth is a worse person than Vick...who was involved in even more trouble this past offseason

If anyone truly believes people are putting animals above humans, please seek psychiatric help

  3. Not everyone at Bills games has been to college, but I'm with Dr Dankenstein -- act like you've had a drink before. If your goal is to get "high school drunk", then why are you there?

I've had people tell me they didn't even remember being at the game. What a waste of time and money.

I'm all for having a few pops and getting a nice buzz on, but if you are puking on your shoes come game time then you're not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

 You gotta be either rich and/or an idiot to get that drunk before a game...with ticket prices being what they are, you should get your money's worth as well as you can...and going in and not being able to remember most of the game certainly won't help you get your money's worth

  4. I was at the game. I will go to the next one and I will renew my seasons next year. If you don't want to go thats your choice. But don't tell me that because I choose to buy seasons that I'm the reason that there is no winning football in WNY. Keep not buying tickets, please... Because the more of you who don't, means I have a better chance of moving to better seating. I go because I have a great experience at the game whether the Bills win or lose. I always want them to win. But I put things into perspective and say...Hey, lets tailgate, have fun being together..and if the Bills win....Bonus.....The games are fun..the fans are usually obnoxious, and to me, part of the fun. But you do what you want...And I'll do what I want...But don't accuse me of fostering a losing atmosphere....

anyone who accuses you of that should never be allowed to reproduce...because the world doesn't need anyone to be that stupid and ignorant. It's like they think the Bills aren't trying to win...if there was a guaranteed method to winning, they'd be doing it...same as everyone else

  5. Stevie Johnson is not an impact player.

Regardless of these last few weeks.

    Us old schoolers no better.

You want to be consider an impact player? Win a game on a play you complete.

Losers go home and fondle themselves Stevie, Winners go home and f@#k the prom queen.

As Stevie pointed out, Schopp was referencing a comment about how well Fitz and Stevie have been clicking....that's all...Schopp tried to turn it into something else

As far as your losers and winners statement...Stevie's wife is gorgeous and they have a pair of kids...I don't think he has to fondle himself

That was totally uncalled for.

    ......and so was that.

    consider the source

  6. Correct me if I'm wrong but do the Bills only have 52 on the active roster right now? Still no word on Naaman Roosevelt getting the call up?

    PTR

51 or 52...officially they're at 51 until they announce they've signed someone to the active roster

as far as Naaman...he hasn't said anything on Twitter

  7. once again, for the bijillionth time, if this franchise doesnt find a way to get toronto companies to buy boxes in bflo then this team is gaan

    - luxury boxes are what bring in the biggest money for nfl teams

    - you could double the price of regular tickets and sell out every game forever and it still wouldnt be enough to keep this team here

    - bflo simply does not have enough large corporations to get what they need for their boxes with just bflo companies

    - even if you include rochester, there still arent enough corporate customers to keep the team here (hence the toronto campaign)

    - by having games played in toronto you can force toronto companies to buy boxes in bflo if they want to have one in toronto

ive said for almost ten years now i expect this team to leave sooner rather than later if they dont figure this out; thus, i would begrudgingly accept up to half the games being played in toronto

listen numnuts, you better damn well get 100% behind this toronto partnership. you have no choice if you want a team in bflo AT ALL. if this partnership fails this team is GAAN. so you better damn well pray they continue to have games in hoserland, and most likely more than one regular game per season

reading over these posts im sure it feels great to beat your chest and demand ralph get out of toronto

hows that gonna feel in five years when theres no team here at all?

too bad the whole idea of the Toronto series to attract corporations to buy premium seating at the Ralph was a bad joke.
The whole idea is to give those big money people a taste of what the Bills have to offer and in all honesty, the Rogers Centre is ill-suited for that. People are paying premium prices for poor seating where the sightlines aren't suited for the NFL. In Ralph Wilson Stadium, there are great sightlines all over the stadium. There's also the lack of tailgating, something that Buffalo is known for. Buffalo, Green Bay, and Kansas City are always the top 3 NFL cities in regards to their tailgating. True tailgating has nothing to do with excessive alcohol consumption but everything to do with the feeling of community in the parking lots around the stadium as fans grill up their dinners and share with fellow tailgaters. Toronto doesn't allow tailgating, which detracts from the gameday experience.

    Here's my solution

a better way to sell these luxury boxes is a lot easier than moving games and upsetting the loyal fan base. Simply set aside a few luxury boxes that aren't selling for the purpose of giving these large corporations a taste of a real gameday experience. The luxury boxes are contracted for a period of a few years as it is. If there are some that aren't selling for a few years, sell them for individual games. Maybe those corporate types would be more inclined to buy luxury boxes if they saw what a real gameday experience was about...because they certainly aren't seeing it in the Rogers Centre atmosphere. Hopefully though, this Toronto series can help draw Canadian corporations to Buffalo. If nothing else, the wealthy people in Toronto buying up these tickets are hearing what a great experience a real Bills home game is from the fans who either already make the drive down to the Ralph on a regular basis or the diehards that make the trip up to Toronto.
  8. If they sign him, I'll bet Tom Donahoe will say to himself, "That's a great pickup." Just like he said to ESPN when the Jags signed OT Mike Williams, who went on to do nothing for them as he did nothing for us.

Hey, I agree, and nobody SHOULD be making any personal comments about current or former players. But as far as sucking as football players, it's open season and they're all game. BUT, when it comes to a failure of work ethic, then I don't so much mind personal attacks. Because there's no excuse for collecting that kind of money and showing no passion or true intent to do absolutely everything you can to win games. No distractions, football. And many stories had JP being unfocused and cocky - he had no sense for the kind of work it takes to succeed. He thought too highly of himself, and that's often an attribute of the lazy.

work ethic is something JP never lacked...he's a classy guy who tried his best but didn't succeed...anyone who can't wish a guy like that the best needs psychiatric help...the only guys the past decade who put forth a solid effort were Peters, McGahee, and M Williams

  9. Yes clearly we could not use Moss. We have Steve Johnson already. What was I thinking? Also, with the Terrell Owens comparisons, I did not realize we got better without him as we dropped to 0-7 this week. Owens and Lee Evans could have been a great tandem, just like Moss and Evans could. Do I think there is one in a million chance that the Bills would pull the trigger on something like this? Of course not! But to sit there and act like this would not be a great pickup and a huge upgrade is such ignorance. The Bills offense showed flashes of greatness with T.O in the game last year vs Miami and Jacksonville. There is a reason that these guys are future hall of fame players, and we are bringing up practice squad guys to our starting lineup.

Thinking that the play of our WR corps is what has us at 0-7 is the largest example of ignorance in this thread

Randy Moss has 22 receptions while playing with 2 HOF QBs

    Steve Johnson has 30

    Lee Evans has 26

    Roscoe Parrish has 26

all with a journeyman QB who replaced a timid bust after 2 games

Yeah...let's get someone who had great QBs throwing to him but still couldn't do as well as any of our top 3 WRs

Oh, and Moss has played in 8 games this season....our WRs have only played 7

  10. The fumble was inexcusable...the decision to run it out and try to make a big play is not, however. A KR who cowers in the endzone afraid to take chances is useless...Leodis made the right decision last year and CJ made the right decision Sunday...they just each needed to practice better ball security

  11. Everyone keeps harping on why we need to wait wait wait for our draft choices to get good, yet nobody has addressed the simple question that the realists are asking:

Why do we have to wait for our draft selections to get better when every other team gets immediate contributions by their rookies?

Why did Ryan Matthews make an immediate impact in San Diego? Why did Jahvid Best make an immediate impact in Detroit?

Why must we wait 3 years before our draft choices can be evaluated? It is terribly frustrating.

    Let's see....your examples

Ryan Matthews...The Chargers' other RB, Darren Sproles, isn't a feature-type back and got 343 yards as a runner last year

Jahvid Best...replacing Kevin Smith who had 747 yds last year...decent but not great

CJ Spiller...the Bills' starting RB was the first guy in NFL history to rush and return kicks for 1000 yards each last year with 1062 coming as a runner

Now...anyone with an even remote clue knows that a RB is going to have a harder time unseating a better RB than he would someone who got a measly 343 yards

  12. I seem to recall her getting notority as well in national media. Was she deaf?

To CM: No argument, Philly, Cincy, St. Lou have beautiful squads. This Jills team is very nice!

To BB: Either your standards are a tad high or you should visit your optometrist.. :flirt:

what I've noticed is that a lot of the guys who diss the Jills have in common is this...they asked one out and got turned down
