You are correct, however, it also depends on who is doing the drafting, Buffalo, or say New England. One can't judge a quarterback in his first year. I remember Pittsburgh when they had Terry Hanratty, Joe Gilliam, and Terry Bradshaw. Hanrantty won the job because Bradshaw was so erratic. Then as things progressed and Hanratty and Gilliam played poorly they gave Bradshaw a chance and he never looked back. It takes time and coaching for a college quarterback to make it in the NFL. Not a problem, I believe he has not been signed by anyone.

Quarterbacks are hard to find. Look at JP and Trent. We know their ability yet they keep getting chances with other teams in the hope a different coach or system will make them serviceable quarterbacks. It is that hard to find a good one, or even a mediocre signal caller.

Yeah, I can't see that either. I am also afraid they will have a bunch of draft picks and waste them on the likes of Losman, Mcargo, and Mike Williams type players that our scouting staff has been recommending for years.

It probably would have been a fourth round tackle, and we got Wang who is a fifth round tackle, only one round later. They may just of taken Wang in the fourth round then. just my warped opinion

Maybe Wrotto, or Howard, or Wang or ... will take his place. I would say it can't be worse but with the Bills you never know.

Sorry, I was just speculating given past drafts the possibility or a hit or miss with the current talent evaluators, not that we should forgo the draft entirely. I think the offense is progressing. The Jets were a game away from the superbowl last year. They are good. We scored a few points against them. If the defense could have made a stop or two the game would have been closer. The defense was just the way the coaches drew it up. You block this guy and he blocks that guy and we run through the hole, oh wait, that is the jets talking. Our defense played just the way the jets coaches drew up the plays. Over the years I have seen members complain about this pick or that pick and recommend this player or that player and I thought as a lot of us on TBD do that who are we, and what do we know. Well after watching the last few drafts play out the players a lot of members on this board wanted would make this team a lot better than it is today. Ngata and Bunkley instead of Whitner and McCargo, Otah or Clady instead of Mckelvin, and Orakpo or Cushing instead of Maybin. Maybe the members here should scout and the Bills scouts should complain.
