Can he hold for FGs though? Not joking as he was also a PK so has no experience holding

i wouldn’t be opposed to spending our late 5th on him but nothing earlier. I can’t remember his name but there’s a 2nd elite punter in this years draft class, some rankings have him higher

But value added as a backup kicker.  Maybe see if he can hold at a pro-day workout.

  2. If they are sold on him being a generational player I would say round 2.  May sound crazy but if he is that good the one pick could make a big change in the field position battle every week.  As a punter the transition to the NFL should be one of the easiest.  That is hard to say about any other position.

I dont know the guy at all but would expect him to have more than a strong leg.  He would need to drop the ball inside the 20 every time.

I think the other poster's perspective on it is the way the Bills will approach it, though.

It's only a savings of $1.5 million to cut him.  Star would be a fantastic backup/rotational DT.  He was still pretty good on the field this year.

Yes, that is my point.  In reality he is only costing 1.5 mil.   I think some are seeing his 9.6 mil cap hit and think cut him.  I would too if there was no dead money.

  4. The OP has a few good points, but forgets the fact that there is a salary cap to contend with.

A "big" upgrade at OT is a very expensive option.  I think a quality Guard would  be cheaper and would provide a lot of help to the run game.  The RBs are not holding the run game back, the blocking is.

CB another expensive add.  Pass defense has be great in the back end.  Keep what we have and use the draft to add help.

Star may be over paid, but with 7.7 million in dead money against his 9.2 million cap hit makes him a keeper imo.

  5. You would think Saturday night would be an easy time to make.  Even if people needed to travel and spend the night there would be no need to take time off of work.

I heard -3 with the wind chill, but would not figure that would scare Bills fans off...
